It's been years since Theodore’s ascension
He seems to be doing well.
He has some dedicated followers.
His church is nice, although it’s on the other side of the city, not horribly far away but inconvenient enough to deter him from visiting.
Acoite doesn’t visit often (there is no need to visit him)
As for Acoite, he’s the same as always
Streaming, playing videogames, watching anime and screaming at chat. He doesn’t really NEED to do it, his real-life follower count is more than enough to sustain his lifestyle, but he can’t say no to extra cash.
Well...maybe because he is a little bit more sentimental than he would like to admit.
He started streaming all the way back at Theodore’s old place so there’s no need to stop now, is there?
The thought crossed his mind multiple times before, ‘what if he’s tuning in to watch the stream?’
Wouldn’t that be nice?
To be remembered?

Who is he kidding? Theodore is a busy man, both with his godly duties and professor duties.
“well... see you guys around?”
“That’s that”
....
“I’ll see you guys tomorrow. I guess”
“Bye chat”
Acoite hits the end stream button.
After all these time, he still hasn’t thought of a “proper” outro
maybe he should commission an animator? He remember seeing an artist he likes, what was her name again? sonya? mossya? something with cat? he should probably check later
Getting up from his desk, Acoite went to look for something to eat
He instinctively grabs his phone to order pizza before stopping-

“We can’t have pizza every day, my lord”
“Why not?”
“Because I need actual food to survive and we don’t have enough money to
eat out every day.”
“I’ll just get more money”
Theodore sigh and shook his head

Acoite put the phone down and went to the kitchen
Maybe he shouldn’t eat too much pizza, it does get a bit repetitive of course. Making a simple meal shouldn’t be too hard, instant noodles and egg is a proper meal, isn’t it?
He started looking
Acoite checked under the cabinets
Under the sink
Under the couch(?)
Huh
Apart from the old cooking utensils that haven’t been used for a long time, specifically since Theodore left the kitchen is empty.
What time even is it?
Acoite checked his phone
Why is it 10:55PM already
...Whatever
Not like there is anyone here who will stop him from ordering pizza for the 5th time this week.
He opened Uber Eats and searched for his favorite pizza place (which happened to be Theodore’s favorite restaurant as well) and ordered a tropical seafood pizza without pineapples.
After that he flopped back down onto the couch.
The temple is empty
Except for his loyal shoggoth hanging around
But they aren’t really good company anyways. Times like this make him miss having someone else around...
Staring blankly at the ceiling with nothing else to do, his mind starts to drift to somewhere more familiar, more comforting.

“Is the movie really that boring?”
“It’s too predictable, they practically tell you that the older brother is the real murder”
Acoite gestured vaguely, his head still on Theodore’s lap
“is that so?” Theodore seems a bit distracted
“Yes! The Professor was obviously framed for murder because everyone was being so secretive about it-
even though there’s absolutely no reason to be so secretive about it, not to mention the incident on the boat!”
Theodore nodded along
“Do you want to continue watching then?”
“Of course, I want to see how correct I am”
He smiled “I thought so too”

His heart aches with longing
The memories are so much sweeter, aren’t they?

The doorbell rang
Looks like the pizza is finally here
Acoite opened the door and was greeted with a familiar face
“Oh! Hey! It’s you, dude”
It’s that pizza delivery man, still in his off-putting animal suit, holding the box of pizza
“why do you still wear that...”
“It’s cold outside, man especially at this time of day-and I look more marketable in this outfit!”
“Are you going to give me my food?”
“I was waiting for you to pay, actually”
“it’s already paid for it on the app”
“Oh right, I forgot” he hands Acoite the box before running away “-Thank you for your purchase!”
Does he not have a bike or a car???
Eh, at least he got something to eat
Locking the door, Acoite went back inside
He set the pizza box on the floor near the couch and went to wash his hands
Technically he didn’t need to, he didn’t even want to! But following a routine brings him some sense of comfort.
He open the pizza box, ready to behold the cheesy glory of this wonderful creation
Only to be met with disappointment
They forgot to take the pineapple out
Ah...
He doesn’t hate pineapple on pizza per se, but he would prefer having a seafood pizza with only seafood in it. The texture of pineapple...it’s fine sometimes, maybe on good days, but today is not one of those days. He can’t throw away the pineapple anyway, that would be a huge waste of pineapples and money, he doesn’t feel like eating them right now because it’s pretty late and he doesn’t want to eat any ‘sweet’ food or anything...
“Are you putting pineapple on my plate?”
“I don’t want to eat them”
“you’re such a picky eater...”
“it’s called a seafood pizza, it should only contain seafood. Pineapple isn’t seafood”
“it’s actually a tropical seafood pizza, but sure I’ll eat your pineapples if you don’t want them”
How sickening.
He feels his stomach churns.
Maybe he’s not hungry anymore
He put the box in the fridge; he can deal with that tomorrow.
The Shoggoths looks...nervous? concerned? But he won’t die missing a meal, he’s a god! He doesn’t even need to eat! That’s why his fridge is empty except for a bottle of ketchup and probably not spoiled milk.
It’s getting late now
Sleeping a little earlier than usual is good for you isn’t it?
Maybe he will sleep early tonight.
Maybe.
