He just couldn't wrap my head around it.
Just this morning, He woke up, and saw a red door. Had dragon decals on it and everything. It would be normal, except for the fact that it was on one of his own bedroom walls! Navy decided to talk to one of his roommates about it, but..
"What are you talking about? There's nothin' there," came his reply.
Navy was stunted. It seemed he was the only one who could see that door.
He laid on his bed, his head tilted to stare at it.
Something was urging him to touch the doorknob. He couldn't tell if it was his own brain, or an outside source. Navy let out a long sigh, damn his curious mind, damn his curious mind. He stood up, wearing nothing but his old pajamas onesie, which had green dragons seemingly flying around all over the dark blue background. Navy had been a fan of dragons ever since he was little. The idea of giant lizard creatures with wings that could breathe fire at will would be fascinating to any kid. But back on the door.
He put one hand on the doorknob. It reacted with a light and soft golden glow. "Please don't kill me.." He mumbled under his breath as he opened it with a slight creak..
To be honest, he could've expected worse. As soon as Navy opened his eyes to see what he was looking at, his eyes widened.
The door was a passage to another dimension.
"…What. The. Fuck." He continued to stare at what was basically a portal. He weighed his choices: Go in and face whatever was gonna stare back, or close it and act like it never existed.
Navy knew in his heart what choice he was gonna make, as he ran through the door.
