A metal spaceship slowly floats across the dark space. There was a fiery, red planet in front of it with beautiful pink waves and stars surrounding it.
The figure mandating the pilot seat presses a button on the control panel from inside the ship. A giant red laser shoots out from underneath and hits the planet. It starts to crack and glow from the inside. Then, it explodes, spreading debris all around the area.
“Ugh,” the figure groaned as they rested their elbow on the panel. Then, their armored finger holds down another button. “Reporting in: another galaxy destroyed.” They lift their finger off. Silence. “They’re not even listening anyway.”
“Sir, I have a report.” said an automated voice.
“Bring it on screen.”
The hologram screen powers on in front of the pilot, showing a close-up of two humans running with a piece of jewelry hanging from their necks.
“No…! It can’t be!” He said, reeling back their arms in shock. “Lock onto that signal and enhance!”
The camera then zooms in on the shining jewels. A second hologram screen pops up on the side with the picture of the gems and the current location.
“They’re on Earth?!” Then, he growls, slamming his closed fist onto the control panel. “Send a Revoker down there and activate its Assault Mode immediately! Keep track of the gems! I must get to them!”

“Hugo!” a young woman yelled. A busted up car flies over her head.
A young man with dark brown and red hair squeezed her hand as they ran. “Don’t worry! I got you!”
A giant robot had all of a sudden appeared and started throwing vehicles, street lamps, and military tanks all over the place. It leaps over the two and readies its giant, black claws.
The man frantically looks for a place to hide. He sees a gap in between two buildings. “Over here!”
The woman was led into an alleyway that was blocked off by giant rocks and pieces of broken buildings. They watch in fear as the robot throws a mailbox across the street.
The woman tightly grips Hugo’s flannel sleeve, slightly hiding behind him. “Hugo…? What do we do? What if it gets us?”
“Don’t worry. We’ll make it out.” He said.
On the other side of the alleyway, a person dressed in a yellow T-shirt and baggy jeans climbs atop the pile of rubble. “Finally!” They exclaimed softly. “Something I can mess with!” They look to the side. “Khloe! You comin’?”
She responds, “Yeah, yeah.” A woman dressed in a striped blue-and-white shirt and jeans tosses her hair aside. A blue streak slightly peeks out. “Out of all days, they want to terrorize the city today while I’m on my way to get my hair done? Geez.”
“Shh! You can get your hair done later!”
“I know that.” She grumbled, then sighs. “Alright, let’s get this shit over with.”
They jump over to step onto a dumpster and leap on the ground.
“Oh! Max! Wait! Wait!” Khloe takes out her decorated cellphone and switches to the camera. She extends her arm out and poses with a peace sign with the other hand. “Hero Mode!”
Max shrugs and poses with Khloe, wrapping their arm around her shoulder. “Hero Mode!”
After the picture was done, she puts the phone back into her pocket. “Alright!” She claps and rubs her hands together. “Let’s do this!”
“Let’s Bark!” They both yelled out.
Behind the two, Hugo and the woman both look in confusion as they see two people suddenly transform in yellow and blue armored suits.
Hugo then looks to his feet to see something shiny. He scurries over to pick it up. It was a gold necklace with arch engravings and a red jewel in the middle. “Hey, uh, you dropped this!”
Suddenly, the necklace starts to float out of his hands with the jewel glowing brightly.
“What the hell?” He muttered.
The necklace flies back at him, knocking him to the ground. He winces and sits up, rubbing his eyes from the light.
“Ow…” he groaned. He feels something lying on the back of his neck. He touches it then looks down to see that the necklace was now hanging. “What the…? How did it…?” He starts to fiddle with the clasp with his hands.
“Hugo!” The woman yelled. “Come on!”
Hugo turns to stand and grabs her hand to pull himself up. A rumbling makes him lose his grip. A piece of giant construction scaffolding falls in between them, knocking them both to the ground on each side.
“Shit!” He thought as he stood back up. As he was about to climb again, there was another crashing noise. He slowly peeks around the corner to see a yellow suited person being thrown onto the ground beside the second person dressed in blue.
“Stop messing around!” One scoffed. They zig-zag around the pieces of rubble being thrown at them. “Follow me!”
As she continued running, Khloe sees something flying above her. She groans. “Max! What are you doing?!”
“What does it look like?! I’m helping!” They responded from the helmet communications. Their right fist sparks with electricity and it makes contact with the giant black and orange robot, which attempts to shake them off like a mechanical bull.
Blue stops in her tracks and starts to shuffle back and forth, trying to catch Yellow from falling. Then, she sees them being thrown and crash into her, sending the both of them back.
Blue pushes Yellow away. “Ugh, get off of me! You’re going messing up my hair! Just…! Do as I say, alright?”
“You’re going to get it done anyways, Khlo!” Yellow argued back.
“Ugh, whatever.”
They then quickly looks up to see a shadow looming over them. “Look out!” They exclaimed.
Hugo looks back and attempts to climb over the rubble on the dumpster, but his foot slips again and he falls to the ground.
Then, he hears a voice. “M’am? M’am! We need to go! Now!”
“Oh no!” He thought.
“B-But, my friend!” said a female voice. “Hugo!” She called out. “Hugo!”
He sees a small gap in the fallen scaffolding. “Lucy! I’m here!” He yelled back. He looks to the towering rocks left and right as his heart pounded fast, but there was no easy way out.
Hugo then hears someone screaming from behind him. He sees someone crash into a piece of a building, falling to the ground and changing back into their clothes from before.
His thoughts start to race, looking from the fallen person to the rocks. “Crap. Crap! What do I do? What do I do?!”
Then, he looks down to the necklace then to the fallen one. He takes a deep breath and runs to peer around the corner again. The giant robot was distracted by the military tank firing at it.
Now’s the chance!
Quickly, he runs across the road to pick the fallen person up and rush back to his spot. He ducks under the thrown military tank and places them in front of the dumpster.
He gently shakes them. “Hey, hey! Are you okay?”
They groan, slowly opening their eyes. “Huh? What…?”
Hugo sighs in relief. “Thank goodness. Come on! The military is helping us evacuate! Hurry!”
He climbs onto the dumpster and rubs his hands together. “Alright,” He whispered. “Let’s see…” He jumps up and grabs onto a large rock. Then, his foot finds a crevice to hold onto. Then another.
Over the rocks, he looks to see a military officer holding a brown-haired woman’s arm and leading her away.
“No, no! I’m here! Wait!”
Meanwhile, Khloe mumbles, “What… happened? Did it explode?”
She looks up to see a young man with dark brown hair and red dye sticking out from the bottom. She sees something red and shiny hanging from his neck.
“What the…?! How did he…?!” She watches him climb over the rocks. Quickly, she stands up. “Oh no, you don’t.”
As Hugo jumped down, he was then tackled to the ground. “Ah! Hey!” He exclaimed, trying to break free from the person’s grip. Dang, were they strong!
“You’re not going anywhere.” They growled.
He looks up to see a woman with black hair and a bit of blue peeking out. She was wearing a long-sleeved, blue-and-white striped shirt and jeans.
“Who…?! Who are you?!”
“Give me back the necklace!”
“Alright, alright! Geez! Well, can you get off of me first?!”
The woman climbs off and fiddles with the chain around his neck. “Damn it. This stupid…”
Then, the red gem glows and shocks her, sending her back a few feet away. Hugo sits up. “Whoa! Are you okay?”
A hologram of a young black man with pink dreadlocks and glasses appears next to her. “Khloe!” He groaned. “Max needs your help! What are you doing here?”
“Milo! Not now!” She said. “I’m busy with something here!”
“What is it?” The young man turns his head. He sees a young white guy messing with the necklace around his neck. “Oh… my… god…! Oh my god!”
Hugo stops, darting his eyes back and forth before looking at the hologram in front of him. “Wh-What?”
“The necklace! I-It chose you! You’re our leader!”
“Leader? What? Look, I’m sorry, I don’t have time to talk! My friend needs me and she—!”
He squeals. “Ah! I can’t believe it! We’ve been looking for you for a long time!” He then clears his throat. “I’m Milo!” He then motions to the woman with an annoyed face. “That’s Khloe, and—!”
A static-y voice calls from a person appearing with their yellow armor. “Hey! I need some help here!”
Milo then appears again. “That’s Max. Together, we’re…!” Milo makes a fanfare sound with his mouth then a jazz hands gesture. “The Danger Dogs!”
Khloe scrunches her shoulders up in disgust. “Milo, ew. You know how I feel about nicknames! It’s so cringe!”
Milo squints his eyes with his hands on his hips. “Well then, how did he get the necklace, hm?”
“Well…! It…! It probably fell out of my pocket or something! He’s not supposed to have it!” She scoffs and laughs. “Look at him!”
But the man was gone. They turn to see him run off. Khloe pinches the bridge of her nose and sighs. “Goddamn it.”
“And this is how you chased off Zoe!” Milo scolded.
“What? I blame you for this.” She then runs off to chase him.
As she sprinted across the road, she catches a glimpse of the young man wearing a flannel, chasing after a military truck.
“Hey, you!” she yelled. “You said you’d give it back!”
The hologram of Milo floats beside her. “But Khloe! This is such a classic origin story! Can’t you see? A lonesome hero, chosen by destiny, and is now fated to protect Earth?!”
“Milo, this isn’t like one of your animes! This is real life!”
“What do you mean a ‘protector of Earth’?! I’m not like those guys!” Hugo yelled.
“Then stop running!”
Khloe then sees Max crash into the ground in front of her. She quickly dodges them and continues running. “Sorry, Max!”
The detransformed yellow hero turns their head, slowly getting up. “Really?”
Hugo turns his head forward and stops in his tracks to see a shiny laser poking through one of the buildings. Khloe stops next to him.
BOOM! A large, circular hole is carved out and the large robot from earlier steps out, turning towards the two humans with its claws out.
Max then catches up, standing next to Khloe. “God, I hate this guy so much!”
Khloe huffs. “Max, you’re with me.” She then turns to Hugo. “You! Stay here! After we break this thing, I’m taking that necklace back!”
“But Khloe!” Milo said. “He can help! He’s our leader now that he has the—!”
“Milo!” She yells, turning back to the hologram. “You’re not actually here right now! You don’t get to make the decisions! I do!”
Milo frowns, glares, and rolls his eyes before disappearing into the armor’s blue gem.
Khloe brushes her hair aside. “Come on, Max. Let’s Bark!”
The two take a running start and leap onto the black and orange robot. The giant arm smashes its fist onto the ground, but Max dodges it and lands on top, throwing multiple punches. At the bottom, Khloe kicks it in the legs.
Then, Max was suddenly smacked off. Khloe looks to the side. “Max!” She sees a yield sign flying towards her, sending her into the air.
Quickly, Hugo catches her. “I got you!”
Khloe immediately stands up. “What the hell are you doing here?!”
“You guys need my help!” He then takes off.
Khloe runs after him. “You can’t even transform!”
Hugo dodges the incoming fist and holds it down. Max then comes in to hold down the other. “Khloe! Now!”
Blue then leaps into the air and forces her heel forward, sending the robot back into the hole it made.
“Nice job!” Yellow cheered.
“Wow! You’re awesome!” Hugo said in amazement.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” Khloe brushed aside. “Now give me the necklace.”
“He just saved our asses, Khloe. He was just helping.”
“Well, I didn’t need it!”
Then, a piece of the upper level comes crashing down. The robot then jumps down, sending the three in different directions.
Hugo groans, rubbing the back of his head. He hears someone call his name. “Hugo!”
There was the truck and the woman hanging out of the open back door, reaching out with her hand. “Lucy!” He called back.
But before he could get up, he was taken by a giant claw and thrown onto the other side.
A deep voice started to speak through the robot. “Be glad I’m giving you mercy, human. My siblings would have killed you if they found you first. Now, I’ll gladly take these gems, destroy your entire galaxy, and be on my way.”
Hugo’s eyes widened as he saw another giant claw grab the piece of jewelry on his neck. With his free hand, he gripped the chain in his fist to pull it back as he struggled underneath.
Then, he sees the robot shake and the claw coming off his neck. He looks up to see Blue in its grasp. “Run! Now!” Quickly, Hugo scrambles to his feet.
As she tries to break free, Khloe’s head was then smashed into the ground, instantly disorienting and reversing her back into her casual clothes.
Max sees the necklace being ripped away from her. “Khloe, no!” They called, running towards the robot with an electric fist. Unfortunately, they were caught and thrown to the ground as well.
“M’am! Get back inside!” yelled a military soldier.
“No! Please! Wait!” Lucy yelled. “Hugo! Hurry!”
Hugo’s breathing starts getting heavy. “I’m coming!”
But then Milo stops him, appearing in his hologram form. “Wait! We need your help!”
“I-I’m sorry! I can’t!”
“You’re the fucking chosen one, my guy! You can’t go now!”
“But…! She’s right there!”
“Alright,” he sighed. “If you’re not ready to protect Earth, we can do a training montage another time. But if you want to protect your family, you need to protect mine as well! Please!”
“Crap.” Hugo whispered. His desperate eyes meet the truck and back to the fallen Khloe and Max. The robot in front of them was opening up its chest and charging up its beam. He even sees Milo’s floating body desperately trying to get them to stand.
“Khloe! Max! Can you hear me?!”
Hugo’s hands started to shake. He takes one more look at the military truck slowly leaving. The young lady was pulled back in, taking one more sad look.
“I’m sorry, Lucy.” He runs towards Khloe and Max and shoves them aside.
Khloe slowly sits up, still a bit disoriented. “Wha…?”
The voice laughs from the robot. “Kill him!”
As Hugo shielded his face with his arms, the beam instantly bursts out of the chest.
“Red!” Milo cried.
But then, there was a red glow coming from the bright beam.
“No!” The deep voice yelled. “How did…?!” The robot then starts to spark with red lightning. “His…! His power!”
The light bursts and disappears. Khloe and Max stand in awe of the newly suited Hugo. “Whoa.” Max said under their breath.
The voice scoffs in the mecha. “Hmph. You think you can defeat me?”
“Let’s see.” Hugo said, smugly. He raises his arm in the air and lightning strikes it, forming an elongated sword in his hand.
Red lightning sparks in the blade and he leaps into the air with the sword above his head. He swings down.
“Canine Blade Strike!” The sharp blade crackles with the red colored sparks and cuts the robot in half.
The robot falls to its knees and implodes into pieces. As Hugo reverts back, he breathes heavily, looking afar.
“That… was… so cool!” Max cheered from behind.
“Now that’s what I’m talking about, Red!” Milo added. “That’s our leader!”
But the two stop as they see him look at the empty road ahead. “Are you okay?” Max asked.
“She left me.” Hugo replied, sadly.
“Hey, don’t worry,” Milo said. “We’ll help you find her.”
He turns around. “Really?”
“Yeah! Of course we can!” Max said with hands on hips.
Khloe then butts in. “Absolutely not. He almost got us killed, and now all of a sudden he’s ‘a part of the team’? He’s just going to use us then bail. I’m not wasting my time on that!”
Milo sternly looks at her. “Khloe…?”
She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms. “Ugh. Thanks… I guess.”
Hugo softly smiles and shrugs. “You’re welcome.” He looks at the shining red gem from the necklace. “So… this is what it’s like to be a Danger Dog, huh?”
“Don’t encourage hi—”
“Hell yeah, it is!” Milo cheered.
Hugo puts his hands in his pockets. “I forgot to introduce myself earlier. I’m Hugo.”
“Well, Hugo. Welcome to the team! I have a lot to show you soon!”

The pilot slams his hands on the control panel, looking at the replayed footage. “No! How did he…?! Impossible! He should have died!”
“Shall I call them for backup, sir?” The automated voice asked.
“No! Don’t!” He yelled. “This is my chance to take them!” In a fit of rage, he takes out the triangular prism out of his chest and holds it out in front of him. “Witness me, mortals!”

Suddenly, the ground starts to shake. A giant portal forms in the sky and a hand reaches out to gather the broken pieces of the Revoker. It then starts to grow giant than the buildings, towering over the four teammates.
“You thought you could escape me?!” The voice boomed and laughed. “Think again! Feel the wrath of the Void Dynasty!”
“Ugh!” Max groaned. “Seriously! Why can’t these guys ever just die?!”
Khloe sadly twirls a part of her hair. “Looks I’ll have to cancel my appointment.”
Milo’s head turns to Hugo with an eyebrow raised and a smile across his face. “You got a plan… Danger Dog Red?”
Hugo looks down to the shining red gem in his necklace. He grips it in his hand tightly, looking up.
“We’ll fight.”
