Chapter Text
Late To The Date
With blurry vision, I bring my hands to my eyes and rub my eyelids slowly to attempt to see my surroundings more clearly. My pupils dart around, looking up at the green ceiling of my apartment. Ah, im just in my room. As per usual, that is.
-urghhhhhhhhh...
Groaning loudly to myself, I toss my blue bed covers on the side of my mattress as I lazily rise to sit on the side of my bed, switching my regard to look at my dangling feet below. My eyelids honestly feel heavier than usual, wonder why... I didn't do anything crazy last night, from what my foggy morning memory remembers. Though it's not like anything worth questioning doesn't happen at all, even when I don't remember it happening.
Kicking my feet in the air, I stretch my arms high in the sky (or air basically) while yawning in one of the palms of my yellow hands.
Finally finding the motivation in myself to rise and shine, I land swiftly on my feet.
Swishing some of my pink, messy hair strands out of my face, I limp my way over with my bad shrimp posture to my nerdy sister's room.
-Hey, ZZ. I said to her as I stood on her doorframe.
-Hey BB... She responded with a sleepy, grumpy voice.
To not much of my surprise, I basically just walked in here to see that she was somewhat in a deep slumber before I woke her up. Her face rested slightly on her pillow as she hugged it loosely with her arms, looking in my direction.
-You aren't going to kill the neighbors upstairs again, are you? ZZ said in an somwhat annoyed tone.
-Well, no, that day is EXACTLY THE REASON why I keep all of my complaints to myself nowadays! I explained while resting my arms on my hips.
-It couldn't have been as traumatic as your other experiences with serial killers, BB. ZZ rises, and she grabs her glasses.
-Oh, it WAS!!! I swear if I have to see that GODDAMN bird another day im gonna...give that thing a PIECE OF MY MIND!! I say more than in an angry-like tone while crossing my arms.
-Interesting.
My sister gets up finally and looks me down with a bit of a confused expression drawn on her face.
-Say, don't you have a date today?
Suddenly, a light hulb light up inside my drawn head. My eyes widen as I look at the time on my phone. HUH!?
shittttttttttt
So, I may or may not be late to my date right now. Who knew I slept until late in the afternoon? Makes me feel better knowing that my sister was asleep late too. Seriously, what even happened last night for me to be so wiped out?
-Crap, right, I DO! Might aswell get ready real quick.
Quickly running back to my room in the biggest hurry I've ever been in, I pick up a random green vest lying on my floor that I thought would suit the occasion. I quickly drape it over my shoulders roughly, putting my arms in each sleeve while picking up the pace.
-Are you really gonna wear that? ZZ says not so enthusiastically over my shoulder.
-YES I AM!! Now, if you don't mind, I will be taking my leave. Goodbye... I say dramatically. Guess I always had a heart for theater
-Have fun.
In panic and hurry i grab my park tickets with a tight grip and run out of the house through the vents of my building. Once outside, I wander down random paths that I had forgotten and remembered from my faded memory. Wandering down sketchy alleyways to visiting streets i never even acknowledged before. Somehow, I managed to relocate the bus I needed to go to with much of my skibidi sigma brain power.
In front of me stands the somewhat, in my honest opinion, secret bus with one mysterious location...Tammy. Ive very much been here before, but that was for my zine. Luckily, I have fewer chances of dying here this time... I hope at least. Ive even come prepared today, with a schedule and everything like the fancy person I am.
Though even with my day fully planned, I need to be fully brave and to take a step forward in my next trial, on the steps of the very, very, very, very long trial that has awaited my return for...hm... I'd say at least a few years at best...the bus...
