To A Shining Spark Gone Too Soon

Summary:

An in universe obituary written by Maxima of Forgefire Caminus, to commemorate the loss of her beloved cityspeaking mentor Fortramax of Volumor Caminus

A memorial to a brave mentor taken too soon... and a monument to where two sisters will in due time fall...

Work Text:

Today, the Forgefire Cityspeaking Board and the Association of Camien Federation Cityspeakers mourn the loss of a great mind and a beautiful spark.

Fortramax of Volumor Caminus, a beloved mentor and Cityspeaker in the wider Forgefire and Camien community, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his own home, after a brief but courageous period fighting Type 4 Brain Module Cybercrosis.

Having graduated from the Forgefire Institute of Technology as the top pre-med and Cityspeaking student of his graduating stellar cycle, Fortramax was always willing to help those in need, even beyond his duties of managing the Titans Mortilla and Curasuis. He treated fellow colleagues and mentees with the same respect and care he gave to those he protected in the Camien Federation and the Republic of Cybertron itself, whether it was helping students both junior and peer prepare for Cityspeaking simulations and exams or responding to fellow speakers in crisis.

Fortramax will be forever remembered for his warmth, dedication, and drive to see the best in everyone he met, and he will forever be in our sparks and in the future of everyone he cared for and shepherded. Our world is far darker without his flame leading the way.

He is survived by his mentee, Maxima of Forgefire Caminus, and her younger sister, Windblade of Forgefire Caminus, as well as thousands of students, colleages, friends, and sparks touched by his compassion and dedication. His loved ones request you donate funds to the End Cybercrosis Committee and the Healthy Speakers Foundation, so that those present and future may be spared the fate that befell him.

May Solus Prime and The Thirteen welcome him with eternal love and grace.
