America has 9/11 Trauma at Family Dinner

Notes:

Not my fic, Made by a friend

Work Text:

You walk into the doorway of the grand house, your long-term boyfriend, America, by your side. He opens the door for you, smiling as you get settled at the dinner table. The rest of his family were already sat, England gave you a smile and nod while Canada offers a shy wave.

The meal started out smoothly, America introduced you and everyone took it well. France offered you some wine, that you took gratefully.

“Why, I just can’t believe England’s son of all people was able to pull a lovely lady such as yourself.”

He joked, casting a type of look at England. America laughed and the dinner went on. After a bit, England started getting pissed at America for being a whiney little bitch and not wanting to eat anything healthy. England then smirked like he had an idea. He picked up a spoon with a bit of green glowing deep fried egg and rum-soaked fish on it, waving it at America.

“Wwwoooooo, here comes the airplane -AIRPLANE NOISES-“

America freezes, the disgusting radioactive English “food” dropped into his lap. He stared forward for a moment, looking like a war veteran. He then slowly started shaking… and fell out of his fucking chair. He lay there on the floor, hyperventilating and shaking, making crazy noises.

“OOYOUOUO AHHHH OUOU HAHF OUH OUH faggot AH AH OUHH OUHH EHHHTH OUH OUH OUH EEEHHHG FRUUYY PIH OUH OUH”

You start freaking out, putting your hands on your head and gasping.

“HES HAVING A POST-TRAUMATIC DOWN SYNDROME ATTACK!!!”

You yell, immediately diving in to try and calm him down while France beats England with Canada’s head. You panic, grabbing him and rushing to the guest room. You lay him down on the bed, pressing a cold rag to his head as he slowly calms down.

“Uhhhh… Y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y/n…?”

he whimpers, still spasming a bit.

“Shhhh…. It’s okay….”
You say, tucking him in and laying next to him, letting him cling to you as he slowly stops crashing out.
