Finally meeting

Summary:

Lonan had been wanting to talk to the saint Bera for years.

Turns out he's not alone with his feelings.

Notes:

Hi everyone!
I know it's another original work and not an actual fic but I've been wanting to work on my oc's so sorry for no new fic today. Hopefully I'll write some more Macdennis or maybe Destiel or Hilson in the future <3 (If you have any ships you would love to see me write my version of, let me know!)
Hope you enjoy!

Work Text:

She was just there, so close yet so far. Her beautiful dark curly hair, deep brown eyes which matched her equally beautifully dark skin. The short yellow dress she wore under her even shorter orange robes and her dark yellow tights that went down to her soft shoes.

Yes, Lonan was talking about the beautiful saint known as Bera Sab Wenan, the saint that Lonan had always wanted to talk to but had never had the confidence to do so. She's so amazing, the entire universe could stop if they caught even the smallest of her sight. Lonan wondered if she truly knew how much she meant to so many people.

"Lonan, are you alright?" He snapped out of his thoughts, looking over his shoulder as his friend Temma stood behind him, looking down at him as he sat in his soft chair. His eyes soften for a moment as he nodded.

"I'm fine, Temma, just a bit tired." Temma nodded, her eyes darting around before she decided on crossing her arms and continuing to look down at him with a somewhat soft smile.

"Are you sure? Cause it looked like you were watching Bera again."

A flush formed across Lonan's cheeks, spreading across his face as it turned his skin pink with each second that passed. His head moved downwards until his entire body shrugged at once.

"I'm not watching her." He mumbled almost under his breath, looking away from Temma's gaze which held onto him as her smile continued to curl upon her face.

"You know you can always talk to her, she would probably love to talk to you rather than being watched."

Lonan shook his head.

"Thanks Temma, but I think I'll be fine here."

Temma just nodded, her hand moving down to gently shake Lonan's hair before she left, her footsteps becoming lighter as Lonan just sighed, looking over to where Bera once was to see her figure was gone. He just nodded, accepting defeat for now as he got up himself, beginning to move as he returned to his quarters where all the saint crystals sat quietly humming.

Since becoming 'the keeper' three years ago, Lonan has just been spending every night in his offices where the crystals laid. It probably wasn't for the best but he liked it, it felt like he was forever close to the saints who came before him.All these spirits laying dormant in crystals and he was the keeper of them all.

Lonan tidied up his bed before he flopped down onto it, throwing the blanket across his body and sighing softly as the lights slowly came to a stop and darkness came upon him.

He wanted his slumber to be one that came quick but that is not what happened. Instead, the lights came back to the room fast and Lonan was left sitting back up, his purple robes almost falling off his bare chest as he rubbed his eyes.

"Wha-"

"Oh! I am so sorry, I didn't realise you were asleep." Lonan's eyes widened at the sound of a soft voice and his eyes moved slowly until he found the owner of it.

Bera Sab Wenan.

The blush returned to Lonan's cheeks as he gripped his robes quickly, covering his chest back up and rolling his legs out of bed as he stood, quickly stepping towards Bera until they were face to face. Bera was smiling warmly back at him.

"It's no problem. D-Did you want something?" He asked, trying to keep his voice steady and almost failing as Bera nodded. As Lonan came closer to her, he noticed she was holding something shiny in her closed fist.

She opened it, holding out a crystal that had mixed hues of orange and yellow swirling around it. Lonan didn't need to be told what it was, he knew straight away it was one of the saint crystals. He took it gently from her palm, holding it gently as he began to move to one of the many collection of safely placed crystals.

"One of your parents?" He asked, his voice still soft and somewhat tired.
Bera shook her head.

"No, my own." She told him, getting a soft 'oh' from Lonan as the two of them continued to walk together in near complete silence. "Is your crystal here?" She asked, getting a smile back from Lonan.

"Yeah, it is."

"Lonan, I-" He turned around, stopping in his place. He didn't even know that Bera knew he existed, let alone knew his name. He waited for her to continue. "I know this is going to sound a bit strange but can you place my crystal next to yours?"

The pinkish blush that had attacked Lonan before was spreading across him once more. He couldn't stop it as it even reached down his neck and to the tip of his ears that were covered by his long blonde hair. Lonan smiled at Bera before nodding.

"Sure, if you want."

Bera smiled wide, a grin so bright it was like the light of a hundred suns beaming down on Lonan.

"Thanks, Lonan!" She moved closer to him, so close Lonan was unsure on what was happening. Then, without warning, Bera pressed a soft kiss upon Lonan's cheek, almost bouncing on her feet as she smiled at him once more before turning on her heels and walking away, leaving the room and leaving Lonan standing there, her crystal still in his palm.

Lonan's body moved on its own after that as he quickly, but carefully, put Bera's crystal down next to his, dropping it down before he practically sprinted out of the room, having to grip hard on his robes to stop them from falling as he continued to sprint throughout all the different hallways.

"Bera!" He called out, watching as she turned around, their eyes locking onto one another as her lips curled into yet another smile. Lonan's lips followed hers, smiling almost as wide as her as he finally caught up, slowly letting the air return to his lungs, staring down at her deep eyes. "Bera, I- I find it really hard to talk to you." He confessed, watching her eyes before continuing. "You are amazing and I am just- me. And I don't want to waste my chance with you. Bera-"

Before he could continue, he felt soft skin touching his face. He looked at it before his eyes fell down onto Bera, seeing the way her eyelids were softly sitting as her eyes stared back at him.

"Lonan, you are more than that, you always have been. And you will never, ever, waste your chance." Her thumb was slowly making circles against his chin. "I want you, Lonan, will you have me?"

Lonan didn't even have to think. He placed his hand upon her chin, bringing her face upwards as he moved towards her, his lips finding hers as they softly kissed. Bera's arms wrapped around him, and no one could stop them as Lonan moved them back to the crystal room, their bodies intertwined as the door clicked and locked shut.
