(Pin's POV.)
Dream Island High's homecoming was next week... and as student council president I have to be on top of everyone in order to make sure the homecoming schedule goes smoothly.
The only problem was that my student council team was not exactly of much help. I mean Golf Ball was a total bossy bot, Pencil was no better she seriously thinks she gets to control everything. Book. Well no more needs to be said about her. Even my best friend Coiny and the student council's secretary Donut are fighting over the name of the homecoming's theme instead of helping me figure out what to do.
"Pin! Tell Pencil that we absolutely cannot have a photobooth. It goes against our budget!" Golf Ball yelled.
"Well Coiny is rich, why doesn't his dad just pay for it?" Replied Pencil
"Like my mom and dad would ever pay for that," Coiny rolled his eyes.
"Yeah... maybe we should expect our fellow students to pay for it?" Said Book.
"She is right Pencil." Donut agreed with Book "what do you think Pin?"
"Huh? Umm maybe we all should try to come up with ideas how we can raise money for a Photo Booth? But even then it might be too late to buy one." I said, trying to act like a heroic leader.
"Hmm." Golf Ball responded
"Fine." Pencil rolled her eyes
"That works for me!" Donut agreed
Then Book began speaking up "I was actually thinking—"
"Meeting finished!" I exclaimed before Book could continue her sentence. Pencil, Golf Ball and Donut begin packing their backpacks. Book signed and started packing hers, accidentally dropping her pencil case lmao.
When they left me and Coiny were the only ones in the room.
"Pin~ guess what! Me and my boys are thinking about putting on ribbons for the powder puff game!" He started rambling. He, Pen, Eraser, Blocky and Snowball were going to be the cheerleaders for the game. It's such a stupid tradition where girls are footballers and boys are cheerleader that unfortunately high schoolers all over the country participates in, including us. "I'm thinking about asking Firey and Gelatin to join us. Some of the other boys dropped out."
"Guess they were to embarrassed." I laughed. "I think Gelatin is already busy cause he's going to be selling bake goods for the homecoming fundraiser... but Firey could maybe join." I say... though not going to lie I kinda find Firey annoying. After all he is going out with my best friend, Leafy... and everyone knows you must find your best friend's boyfriend annoying.
"Maybe we can go to the track meet and find Firey? Needle and Leafy are sure to be there as well!" Coiny exclaimed as he grabbed his bag.
Firey and Needle were in the track team and Leafy was sure to watch her boyfriend in the track meet. I guess I could ask Needle if she could help me find a dress for homecoming.

Me and Coiny walked to the track path and see the rest of the track team. Needle, the leader, was congratulating everyone.
"I love you, I love you, I love you." She said as she fist bumped the track team. "TD you menace I love you." My other best friend, Teardrop, silently fist bumped her back. Then she tapped on Needle's shoulder and pointed to me.
"Pin! Coiny!" Needle exclaimed.
"Needy!" I exclaimed back.
"Don't call me needy!" Needle says. Ughh I forgot how Needle and Needy have similar names and Needle does not like being called Needy.
"Fine." I rolled my eyes. Then I saw Firey talking to Leafy.
"You could haveve sprained yourself." Muttered Leafy as she grabbed the scissor and cut out a bandage tape.
"Yeah well, I didn't babe." Firey says. "Wow you're really good with those scissors. Love my lesbian girlfriend."
"Shut up." Leafy says softly but harshly. I could see Leafy softly blush. "You're unbearable."
"And you love me." Firey winked and made a kissy face. "Look Leafy your girlfriend is there." He said as he pointed at me.
Leafy gasped and smiled at me "Omg hi Pin!"
"Leafter" I nodded. "Did your boy toy break his leg."
"Just a scratch." Firey rolled his eyes.
"Bet you were yelling like a girl." said Coiny.
"Ughh Coiny what do want." Firey asked annoyingly.
"Didn't you get my text?" Coiny rolled his eyes.
"Dude you texted me like 50 times. I almost got caught in math class. Four was not happy about that." Firey replied.
"Well I was gonna ask if you wanted to join the powderpuff cheerleading team." Coiny noted.
"Oh Firey you should totally do it!" Leafy happy exclaimed.
"Yeah Firey! Do it!" said Needle.
"Hmm... only if Gelatin agrees to it,"
"But isn't here busy with selling food to raise money for homecoming" I asked? Teardrop shrugged
"Look I'm not gonna embarrass myself in front of everyone by dressing myself as a cheerleader unless I have Gelatin's moral support." Firey responded. "Right Leafy?"
"Huh right!" Leafy says "but honestly we should all try to have fun next week. It's gonna be the first homecoming where we aren't the underclassmen. We're juniors and seniors now and that means we're in charge." Leafy clapped her hands together.
"That is true." Needle says "plus Leafy you finally have a date and Coiny and Pin are going together."
"That's right she does" Firey said as he hug his arm around Leafy's chest and waist.
"Well we're only going as friends". Coiny laughed.
"Yeah, I couldn't find another guy who actually wanted to go with me and Coiny doesn't want to pay for an expensive date... despite having the money to do so..." I mummered as a rolled my eyes. "So we decided to compromise."
"Well we are best friends so it's not that bad." Coiny said as he mimics what Firey did to Leafy only he's wrapping his arms around me jokingly.
"Haha thought Pin was gonna go with a girl." Firey sarcastically said.
"Not gonna lie I thought so too. Pin just feels like she is for the female gaze." Needle started rambling about nonsense. Female gaze? What the fuck does she mean by that. Then I notice Leafy blushing.
"Well look at the time I think we all should probably be going." Interrupted Leafy
"Ahh you're right. My dad is gonna be mad if I'm late to dinner." Coiny agreed.
"Yeah Match needs help with some stupid girl stuff today." Firey added "I better be going but Coin creature I'll let you know if I decide to do the cheerleading thing." He then kissed Leafy. "Bye Leafy, bye Needle, bye Teardrop, by Leafy's girlfriend."
"Bye Firey." I rolled his eyes. Leafy's girlfriend?
"By the way Pin let me know what you're gonna wear. Still haven't got my dress."
"That makes two of us." I exclaimed.
As we all parted ways until it was just me and Coiny again, I began walking with him to my car.
"Hey by the way, don't push the cheerleading stuff on Firey that much... Firey does get kinda weird around feminine stuff."
"I know." Coiny responded. "I have no idea why... But I would love to do this with him especially cause we spent our first two years fighting." Then Coiny looked at me. "Hey you noticed that Leafy acts kinda blushy around you."
"Huh? It's probably nothing. I mean we are best friends."
"Yeah... I guess." Coiny said. "Need a ride."
"Nahh I got my car. Bye Coiny!"
"Bye Pin!" Coiny waved goodbye.
Homecoming next week is gonna be amazing. Me and Coiny together. Leafy and Firey. Nothing can go wrong with these combos! Everything will be perfect!
