Work Text:
The wolf attack comes out of nowhere. In his panic he jumps on the back of his sheep, Nene, clutching at their wool. The wild running, pure desperation to get away from the wolfs that nips at their heels. He pays no attention to where they would end up. The desire to live overcoming any thought of future plan.
Minutes that felt like hours pass by with the wolves not letting up for a second. He looks back at their snarling maws as he swallows down vomit. Nervousness fills him as wonders who would tire first. Those thoughts evaporate as his sheep, Nene, desperate to escape flings them both down a cliff.
Blood blurs his vision as he shakily gets up. The sheep laying near him baa’s at him. Small and pathetic as it shakily gets up. Nene unable to bear the weight on all four legs, limps beside him. The front right paw held tightly to their body. He presses his hand to his head in an effort to stop the bleeding as he gets up. Body aching.
Izuku looks up to the wolves and sees them staring down from on the cliff. Their maws still wide looking like grins but none of them make any effort to come down. After a few moments of further staring, they wander off.
He fights off a shudder, the terror of what could have been still shakes him to the core. As he looks around he realizes that he has no idea where he is. Fear grips him even as his exhaustion drains him. He has no idea on what direction to start heading off to nor any idea on how to heal his wounds.
Lost in his thoughts, he nearly didn’t hear someone whistling at him. Looking up startled, he sees a bigger man with blonde hair. He looks irritate as he stands there.
“The fuck you doin’?” the mans rough words startle Izuku, who is not used to such manners. Though he does suppose that it is typical for alphas to act so rude towards others. Able to take as much space without being scolded, does that to a person.
“Oh, I fell off the cliff running from wolves,” he replies not addressing their rudeness as he is in dire need of help.
“Tch, come with me. I’ll help ya,” with that the alpha turns and walks off. Izuku does his best to follow as Nene limps along. The alpha seeing their slowness, sighs and slows down to trail beside them.
They slowly walk in one direction until a nice cabin comes into view. It would have look nice and comforting for them to rest if it weren’t for the wolves that chased them resting in front of the doors. Izuku freezes at the sight of them, their grinning maws no less terrifying than it did a few moments ago.
The stranger for his part seem not to mind at all. Seeing Izukus hesitation, grabs his arm and drags him to the door despite his protests. The man in turn just whistles. The wolves immediately surround them, leaving only the path to the door as an escape.
Izukus knees weaken as the man drags him to the door. His sheep baa’s turn more urgent as the wolves start growling, inching closer. He has no desire to enter that cabin but he also had no way of escape. The man does not slow down, not even bothering to pick him up or anything as he is forced to enter the cabin. Nene follows, her fearful baa’s only add to his terror. The door slams shut behind him, leaving him to his unknown fate.
