Chapter Text
Ocean stood there. Right in front of the portal. Almost frozen in place with a face full of worry and panick. “…I-“ Ocean managers to mutter out.
“Ocean, not to press but we don’t have much time.” Karnak says, mild concern in his voice. “… Uhhhh… Ehh… C-can’t we just n- not lose each other?” Ocean stutters in a panicked manner.
“There… Is a third option. You can stay together without being dead, not truly. At least.” Karnak says. “Then what do we do?” asks Noel from across the room. "How do we not lose anybody?" Noel repeated.
Karnak nods "While this body does not have much time left, there is a different body. My original body, I can use my powers to bring all of you to a middle state between life and death... Along with my beloved executioner of tonight. My dear Virgil, too, shall be accompanying you. You must bring the seeing orb, for it has my software.There is something else, do no-" *ZAP*
A bolt of electricity scaring everyone on stage as Karnak's body jolts a bit before it stops moving all togheter and all the lights go out.
Silence

..
...
"What just happend...?"
Constance was the first to break the silence.
It was dark. Way too dark to see.
"Karnak said something about bringing the seeing orb to a larger body of himself but I don't see any large version of Karnak or seeing pearls here." ricky anwsers.
"You can't even see! At All!" Mischa yells.
"The warehouse..." Jane doe says
Suddenly the lights spring right back on. Showing that thje choir was in a different part of the warehouse. The crystal orb in Jane doe's hands. yet there was something else. Something strange. The entire choir felt strange. They looked different.
Suddenly Ocean let out a yelp after looking at Constance. "CONSTANCE! Y-YOUR EYES! T-THEY'RE PURPLE!?" Ocean yells with the concern in her voice be extremely apparent. "OCEAN! Y- YOUR EYES?! THEY'RE BLACK AND GOLD!" Constance replies, clearly panicked. Noel interrupted the panic "I think we all changed appearnance." it was true, they did change.
Ocean's left eye was gold with a black pupil and her righ eye was black with a golden pupil.
Constance's eyes were a purple and the purple part o he rhair and the bottom of her uniform had purple glitters.
Noel was in monicue gibea's outfit with a bottomles wineglas of changeable alcahol(default of wine) in his hand.
Mischa has gacha demon features.(It's the only way to describe it, 2018 gacha demon features)
Ricky has purple cat ears and tail along with cat teeth.
Jane's doll head is floating above her body and now has a small crack at the bottom of it's right cheeck.
"I don't mind having a new body, this tail is pretty cool." Ricky says while he has Jane doe's doll in his tail. "Oh, so there is my dolly." Jane doe says with a light suprise in her rather monotone voice. "We should probably bring the orb thingy to karnak's other body." Mischa says. "Yeah. Mischa's right! C'mon team! let's go!" Ocean says before walking in front of the group.
The choir walks around the warehouse for a few minutes. yet how many 10? 5? 20? They didn't know. But finally after all that walking they run into another... Being? They looked human but had rat ears, a rat tail and they were playing the bass while sitting on a large crate.
"Hello there! I'm guessin' ya'll are the kids Karnak was talkin' 'bout?" He said. "Wait, you know Karnak? Can you tell us where his other body is?" Constance asks. "The name's Virgil! I can bring ya'll to Karnak, If ya wan' me to?" virgil anwsers happily. "That would be greatly appreciated." Ocean says. Virgil jumps down from the crate giving the Choir a better look at him. He was short with a pointy nose, tanned skin, black hair in a mohawk and was wearing a black tank top with a silver punk logo and black shorts with a studded belt. He had dark red eyes, 2 sharp front teeth and a chipped tooth in his lower mouth. "C'mon let's go!" Virgil says before walking in front of the group.
After a little bit of walking Virgil suddenly stopped and pointed at something to the right. It was a 210cm(7ft for the Americans) doll that resembled a full bodied version fo Karnak, draped in Dark purple robes that matched with his turban and with it's eyes closed. Jane doe walked up to the large doll, put both of it's hands togheter with their palms facing upwards and put the seeing orb in it's hands. After jane places the orb the doll's eyes open. The yellow eyes are similar to that Karnak except now he had a sclara.
"Greetings children and my dear Virgil." Karnak says "I am glad You all made it. Did Virgil help you?" "Heh, they got lost an' i brought 'm here!" Virgil says proudly. "Thank you, Virgil." Karnak says.
"Okay, so are those two like... a thing?" Noel whispers to Mischa. "Waarschijnlijk." "Excuse me?" "Waarschijnlijk. That's Dutch for Probably." "Oh, right you speak Dutch." "I can teach you some Dutch later, poet." Mischa whispers back. Meanwhile Ricky just noticed that Jane was standing next to him. "Oh. Hey Savannah! Here's your doll back, i held it with my tail while you were carrying the orb." Ricky says to Jane while lifting his tail up so that Jane can grab her doll. "Thank you, Ricky." Jane anwsers sounding almost happy hugging her headless doll. Ocean and Constance were standing to the side next to eachother. "I like your new eyes, Constance. Purple glitter looks really good on you!" Ocean says to Constance. "Thanks! Gold looks really good on you too!"
Then the lights flicker off again amd everything turns dark.
Silence again.

The lights are back on.
They were... In a house?
The room they were in had white walls, with larger borders around the doorframes that led to some other rooms. There was a a door that led to under the stairs in the corners. In the middle there was a table with a few coasters, 2 couches around the table and a tv on a mini-closet.
"Where are we?..." Constance asks. "Your new home." Karnak anwsers happily. "what?" Ocean asks in suprise. "This is your new home. You are unable to return to outside world. Especially like this. You know concidering the fact that the outside world thinks you're all dead. So now you live here. Your rooms are upstairs, i didn't know wether you all wanted your own rooms or a collective room so you have both." Karnak says.
Jane doe starts walking towards the staircase. "Wait for me!" Ricky shouts before chasing behind Jane. "HEY! YOU'RE NOT GOING WITHOUT ME!" Mischa shouts before going after the others "DON'T FORGET MOI!" Noel says as he joins in. Constance grabs Ocean's arm and runs behind them up the stairs "Don't forget about us!"
Once the choir is upstairs they all go down the hall and walk around checking the signs on the doors. "Constance! I found your room!" Ricky yells across the hall while pointing to a door with "Constance Rosenburg" written on it. "Hey! Dollface! I found yours!" Mischa yells across the hall. After a bit of yelling across the hall everybody found their own rooms. All of their rooms look almost the exact same as the ones they ahd left behind.
Ocean had her bed in the front right corner of her room, still with the sheet lying there perfectly, just like she had made it this morning before preparing to leave. A nightstand stood next to the top of her bed. A large bookshelf stood against the wall that was adjacent to the door. In the corner adjacent to the bed, there was a desk still with the school book placed prefectly in the middle that she forgot to put in her bag this morning. Her closet still standing in between the desk and the nightstand. The Hamilton poster that was on the closet.
Constance's room was a bit messy with many posters of the wall. Her bed was made, not as perfectly as ocean kept it but it was still made. Her closet in the corner left front from the door wasn't fully closed. A piece of clothing was keeping the closet open. Her desk had a lot of art supplies with there being one open spot for making homework or drawing. The scent of fresh pastries still lingered. Even in death her room will always carry the scent of fresh pastries. It was Strange... Could it... No. It could not be the same room. There was no way. Karnak just added the scent to make her more comfortable. It is not her actual room. There was no way.
Noel's room had many posters about France and french things. There was a gay pride flag on his desk in a pen bucket. His Taco bell uniform was still on the chair. It was the exact. same. His bed was still messy. His clothes were till on the chair. The large flag of France stilled had part of it's corner missing. It was still the same.
Mischa's room is similar to the basement but, it was different. There was still all his clothes scattered around, but the pile where he kept them was now a (very messy) closet. He had a bed, although just as messy as his air mattres, still a bed. His gaming consoles were still there with the tv. His empty Monster energy and red bull cans were still stacked togheter. The box filled with Vodka, monster energy and redbull was still neatly restacked, just as Mischa had done so the evening prior.
Ricky's room still had all the stars above the bed, all of the space and comic book posters. There were a few packs of pokemon cards on the desk wich he was intending to open when he returned. The drawings that ricky made of Zolar. Everything was still there. The plushies on the floor and the bed that Ricky had intended to open the packs with were still neatly arranged in positions that showed them as the audiance. To most of the others their room being left the same was unnerving and uncomfortable, but for Ricky it was great. To him it showed him that he is not dead and he can still do what he wanted. Just now, we were missing one last audiance member...
jane doe's room was strange. She had no name so no room to return to. But she still had something. A bed tucked in the corner, al be it messy the bed was made. Next to the pillow there was a small doll wearing a bi shirt and smiling. A desk with Some art supplies and a cat plushie on top of it with a cupcake plushy standing next to it. On the top of the desk(It's on of those desks that have a little overhead-esque section.) there was a small pyramid of different flavoured Monster energy cans. The closet in another corner perfectly closed with a Hamilton poster on it. A box stood next to the wall adjacent to the bed. The box was slightly opened revealing a rat plushie and a doll in purple robes. On top of the ceiling a few constilations could be seen. Jane doe may not have had anyone to grief or miss. But she does have the rest of the choir.
There were 2 other rooms. The first was a large room, but not much furniture. There were 2 sofa's and a few chairs. There was a large fluffy rugin the middle of the room and there was a desk with paper. That was all there was in the room. The sign on the door said "Choir room.". The last bedroom was the one wich's sign said "Karnak&Virgil." it had a twin bed with storage compartments underneath, 2 desks, a tv across the room from the bed, a large closet and a bookshelf. It was a larger room, even though it was rather simple.
