——————
The round finally ended as you snapped 007n7’s head.
That was a new name you recently learned, albeit a little strange, you couldn’t shake off the thought that the two zeros lined up with the two zeros in c00lkidd’s name.
But you supposed it was just a coincidence.
Anyways, you once again go teleported back to the same wooden cabin you’ve been living for the past year or so…? You didn’t even know. The meaning of time became meaningless around your head as you couldn’t quite remember how long you’ve been stuck in this place. All you knew was that you’ve been here for a heck of a long time.
Everyone else was either in the kitchen or upstairs doing whatever.
But one person stayed.
“Hello, ———!!!”
You could hear a childish voice tug at your arm, it was c00lkidd.
You smiled.
“Hey kidd, what’s up?”
You and c00lkidd had bonded quite well together, you saw him somewhat as a little brother and also someone to protect…meaning that you also take his side in arguments, regardless of how stupid his reasoning was. Despite having a pretty good relationship with everyone else, c00lkidd was the only person who really kind of stuck in a way. But you could also feel that the new weird vampire bat guy maybe did want to talk to you… or maybe it’s just your lonely feelings talking again.
Anyways.
“You know my dad, right?” c00lkidd continued, intertwining his arms behind his back.
Wait what?
You never knew c00lkidd had one—well, said in a less ill-intended way.
Nevertheless, this was a huge surprise as c00lkidd never seemed to mention his father, at least not around you.
“Ah- no… I don’t believe I know him..”
“Oh, he’s the guy with the burger on his head!”
You thought for a moment before replying, “007n7?”
c00lkidd nodded eagerly, the almost permanent grin on his face growing wider. “Yes!! That’s him!”
You crossed your arms in surprise, even though you had your suspicions, you’d never imagine yourself to actually be right for once.
“Mm, okay.. what about him?” You proceeded with the conversation.
c00lkidd gazed down at his feet. And all the sudden and the atmosphere between you two became sorrowful.
“Hey, what happened?” You asked, slightly crouching down to his level, concern was gradually beginning to fill every part of your body, including your mind.
“W-well, h..he keeps avoiding me and-and I want to talk to him really bad!”
You couldn’t help but genuinely feel bad for c00lkidd, and you noted to yourself that you’d do something to make him feel better about it.
Turns out, it didn’t take much to find out what that “something” was;
“So.. c..could you maybe help me find him..?”c00lkidd was wiping his eyes of tears now.
You laughed softly, slightly amused and nodded, bringing the kid into an embrace. “Of course.”
…
It took a while for c00lkidd to really calm down, but once he did, the two of you decided to map out the plan.
The two of you sat on the couch of the living room, a piece of paper and a box of crayons splayed out on front of you two.
“Have you seriously never seen him before? I mean in order to win a round you have to ki- I mean.. find everyone right? And you’ve clearly.. found… everyone before….” You tried to dodge the word “kill” as you spoke. Although not much conversation floats around the killers in this cabin, you all have silently agreed to not share the terrifying truth to c00lkidd about these games… even the new vampire guy seemed to go along with the plan.
“My stupid clones always find him before I do..”
And this is when you seriously start to wonder why c00lkidd’s clones just “coincidentally” always find 007n7 before c00lkidd himself can, considering how inactively involved his clones usually were. You heard that his clones usually walk around aimlessly around the map before despawning.
“Then why don’t you just not summon them?” You press further on, watching as c00lkidd vigorously worked on one of his drawings.
“Sometimes I don’t even tell them to come! They just come by themselves…” c00lkidd responded with a whiny tinge to his tone.
Suspicious.
You weren’t sure what this place is or what the meaning of it is, but you were confident that there had to be some kind of “upper power” controlling all of this. Although out of your reach, you do know someone who may hold information regarding this topic.
But for now, you just sit on the couch and watch as c00lkidd finishes up his drawing of him and his father, 007n7.
The next round started after around forty minutes or so.
Each round the killer is randomized so not you or any of the other killers are aware of who will be next in the round. However, you did tell c00lkidd to carry out your guys’s plan if he was picked, which is coincidentally this round.
And once c00lkidd was gone, your conversation with Noli began.
As far as you knew, Noli had knowledge about this place that no one else had, information that even the survivors didn’t have.
It took you a while to find him because today he peculiarly decided to distance himself from the cabin. You found him sitting on the lakeside dock, looking down at the water of the lake.
“Hey,” you awkwardly stated, taking a seat beside him. Noli slightly jumped at the sudden presence of you. You could tell he tried to straighten out his posture again.
“Ħ-ħ1.” Noli’s voice glitched as he replied with his gaze staying stagnant onto the lake.
You didn’t know what to say to be honest. Although you and Noli could be considered acquaintances, you found it quite hard to converse with him for no particular reason.
You swallowed thickly before continuing.
“Uh.. how are you..?”
Noli shrugged, “1ndįff-fëř3n-nt.”
You could tell something was off with him, he wasn’t normally this dry. Even if you barely talk with each other.
But nevertheless, you had to find information about c00lkidd’s clones.
Getting right to the point is what you decided.
“So, c00lkidd’s clones always kill the survivor; 007n7 even if he doesn’t summon them.”
Noli finally looked at you, but with a dumbfounded demeanor. “Æ-ând?”
You forgot the part where you actually explain why you’ve said that.
So you cleared your throat.
“Well I just wanted to know why and thought that you might have information on it.”
Noli’s gaze returned to the lake.
“4-ând w-wħy ŵ0u1d İ kņ-n0ŵ aňyțħīnğ ab0űt ț-tħ4t?”
You weren’t sure on whether he was lying or not, but your gut feeling urged you to keep the conversation alive.
“U-uh… I heard some things about you.. and um..”
God, why was it so hard to speak all the sudden? The words caught in your throat like it was voluntary. You sighed and decided to lay off Noli for now, more for your sake if you’re honest.
You rose up from your spot on the dock. “Sorry for bothering you.”
And you proceeded back to the cabin along the snowy path.
“This is all it’s doing.”
Instantly you stopped walking and you turned back to look at Noli, who sat as if he said nothing.
“What..?” You questioned almost silently, confusion gradually clouded your mind.
The voice you just heard, was undoubtedly Noli’s… so then why was it said so smoothly, without any stutters or glitches..?
