Bloom glances nervously at the camera pointing at her and her friends. Class is in session and all of her teachers are watching their progress. This group project counts toward their final grade. Their could be redoes depending on how the teachers feel though. Unfortunately the teachers all had to agree which happens rarely. She gulps down as Stella gives her hand a squeeze, in turn she does her best to give Stella a bright smile.
Techna and Flora working together to find the threat they needed to vanquish. It could be a big exterminator level threat or something simple as a pixie infestation. She stomach does flips as she remembers her luck in the level of threats she can get. Still as long as she is with her friends she is confident that she can succeed!
Flora finishes her reconnaissance first. “They said that there were a disturbance in the trees but I am not getting anything. So it could be something else.”
Techna follows soon after. “Me neither. I am not sure what it is.”
The girls and her discuss options on what to do next. Bloom follows along as her mind freaks out at failing this test. No idea on what she would do next if this doesn’t work. She would have to go back to earth and go back to normal high school and go back to dealing with the boring tasks of helping her mother…
Wait, if she fails she would just have to redo the class. She would have to do summer school at the very most. Why is she panicking over something that is the most dramatic option. Blooms mind suddenly remembers the splitnick!
A creature that feeds off trees sucking the life force out of them when it is not feeding off of humans and giving them misery. if she remembers right then wherever it is attached then it should show a weird green spot. When it first enters its victims it causes dizziness and an itch in that area. Blooms hand wander to her lower back where it itches.
“Guys I think I know what it is,” she stats while turning around. The others gasp at her back, before Flora groaning nods as is she understands.
“Some of the trees were being quieter than other but I didn’t think much of it,” Flora explains, shaking her head. “A simple spell will get rid of it.”
“What is the spell again?” Aisha asks.
“Hm, I think we just need to blast some sound at it. Musa?” Techna asks.
“Yeah I got it, I know what to do.” Musa says as she sends a blast to my lower back. Knocking the creature out of me.
Stella quick on her feet sent a blast at it right into Techna trap. Everyone grins as we cheer at our success. “Alrighty girls that should be it. Lets go!”
In agreement we all head out. The teachers stand there stone faced as they direct us towards the exit. Not able to hear the results until much later. It does not bother Bloom to much as with her friends anything is possible!
