His heart sank. He lay in his bed with his legs crushed against his chest. Luka liked someone. Tears roll down his cheek, falling softly to the melon colored sheets that snug his bed. So stupid. So fucking stupid. Why would Luka ever love him back. Luka wasn´t gay. Nobody even knew he was gay. So many stupid fucking Valentine´s from everyone but Luka. It´s ironic. Stop it. You´re being selfish. If Luka loved someone, the least he could do was let Luka be happy. Those were his last thoughts as he drifted from the broken heart that could never be anew.
¨I wanna tell them I love them.¨ Adrien nodded to Luka´s optimistic statement. He didn´t want to get up in the morning, with his eyes barely opened from dried tears, and his head throbbing with pain, he had told his father that he was sick. ¨School is more important than you being sick Adrien¨, his father had told him, which sparked anger, but turned back to the immense feeling of sorrow. ¨Any ideas?¨ Adrien shrugged, he hadn´t had any heart to do anything. Luka studied Adrien for a few moments, and Adrien could feel the shivers of those cyan eyes he wore. A knot formed in his throat as he swallowed, but he should´t feel like this. Why can´t he just stop liking Luka? Loving Luka? ¨Is something wrong, Adrien?¨ Adrien looked at Luka´s worried gaze. Fucking hell. ¨No I´m fine!¨ He plastered a fake smile on his face, but Luka´s stuck. ¨You just seem- down..¨ Adrien shook his head. ¨I´m fine, Luka, don´t worry.¨ Luka nodded and smiled. ¨Just making sure!¨
The rest of the walk to lunch was quiet, Luka hadn´t asked any questions, but kept giving Adrien small glances of worry. ¨Wanna sit together?¨ Adrien looked at Luka. ¨You sure? All your other friends might want you to sit with them, and what about your crush?¨ Luka flushed slightly. ¨My friends won´t mind and- my crush- it doesn´t matter.¨ Adrien nodded and sat, Luka following and sitting next to him. ¨So um, describe her to me..¨ Adrien looked down towards the floor, helping Luka was the least he could do for his love. ¨She?¨ Adrien looked up quickly to Luka´s gaze, his heart pounding in his chest. ¨Are they a male-?¨ Luka flushed even bolder this time, and looked at his hands. ¨It- It doesn´t matter.¨ Adrien scooted closer to Luka, feeling a spark of hope. ¨But it does, Luka! I can help you!¨ Luka looked at Adrien, hesitating. ¨Please-?¨ Luka smiled and shook his head. ¨Sure.¨ Adrien waited. ¨So is it?¨ Luka lowered his voice slightly. ¨Yes Adrien, I like a boy..¨
