PROLOGUE
One snowy morning in Connecticut, on October 8th 1984, two twin girls were born. Rory and Victoria, or as some called them Rory and Vicky. Two twins who were living very separate lives. One with her father in Boston, and the other with her mother in Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Rory grew up in a close knit town, she knew almost everyone she'd walk past. She developed the mentality that she could achieve anything, constantly supported and pushed to keep going by the people around her. She had everything Victoria could only dream of wanting.
Vicky on the other hand, grew up in a small apartment in Boston with a father who was never truly ready for the responsibility of raising a child. He always seemed to be physically present but never emotionally present, never interested in his daughter, or her school life. He spent his days out, always job hunting, or working the odd jobs he did manage to get. And spent his nights on dates with women, though they never seemed to stick.
It wasn't until Victoria got into Chilton Academy, a coveted private school in Hartford, bringing her one step closer to her ever-present dream of going to law school, that her parents made the mutual decision to move Victoria to Stars Hollow to live with her mother and sister.
