“Uhm, ae-0411?” Winter called the machine sitting idly on her couch. She was like a pristine image of a prim girl, complete with proper hand placement as if she were waiting for any command from her new rightful owner.
“Yes, madam?” The voice sounded naturally husky, with enough deepness in the tone and proper enunciation that would pass for a native speaker. Once again, Winter was amazed by how carefully put together this machine was.
(A/N: I put it in the pic of what I envision to be ae-0411 as I am not good with writing descriptions.)

“Do you have a name other than ae-0411?” The new owner asked curiously, her eyes couldn’t take their eyes off the robot, who was wearing that pink casual but sexy getup, complete with pink highlights. “It sounds awkward to call you by numbers.”
“My common name is Karina, madam.” The robot answered quickly, then turned to Winter naturally, and without any dramatic movements that machines usually have. “That’s what my previous owner used to call me.”
Winter was stunned; it was impeccable how even the motions of the human body can be copied by robots now. It was fascinating as it was terrifying. It was hard to decipher the difference, especially when you don’t know how she can blend with humans. Except if you think about how “softer” her silicone skin would be and how she’d melt into fire instead of turning into ash.
Her musings were interrupted Winter realized and winced at the constant use of “madam.” Winter feels that she’s so old with that overly sophisticated salutation that’s being used to address her. But then, the usual target market of this type of technology was billionaires who had nothing to do with their money and must be demanding with such authority.
“Okay, nice to meet you, Karina. My name is Winter. But please stop using 'madam’ when calling me.” she requested nicely, not really knowing how to set up commands yet, or was wondering if just saying words that sounded like a command would work on her.
“But my commands list ‘Madam' as…” Contrary to the expectation, the robot stubbornly rambled an explanation about how her system listed “madam” as the default naming convention for her owner, which is hardcoded as such.
“Override that part of that command by calling me by my name, Winter.” The blonde used an authoritative tone, not hiding her displeasure with the unnecessary respectful address. She saw how the android’s eyes flashed blue, indicating that it was writing the command into its code.
‘Ah, so that’s how it should be.’ Winter thought smugly, even though Karina’s face gave away the confusion with being fussy with the way she was being called. The former didn’t address that and simply felt relieved that at least writing data or commands isn’t rocket Science with this technology. Very user-friendly, if Winter must say so herself.
“Understood, Winter-shi.” Once again, Karina’s answer was both human-like and too formal and too awkward for Winter’s liking. Maybe a more casual type of response should be configured in some way, but that’s Winter’s problem for another time.
“Winter-shi is still too stiff, but... that’s fine, I guess.” Winter rambled awkwardly while scratching her non-itchy forehead to ward off both their awkwardness. She acts like a robot, and the other is a literal robot. Unable to keep her curiosity, she decided to inquire, “So, what are your abilities?”
"I am equipped with pre-installed capabilities: cleaning, washing, cooking, driving, and self-defense. I possess a valid bodyguard certification, a black belt in taekwondo, and firearms proficiency. Additional skill modules may be installed if sufficient storage and hardware resources are available. Please consult the user manual for upgrade protocols and system limitations."
“Right… well, since you know how to clean, please start with that.” Winter decided not to waste time and energy asking Karina when she had all the reading materials about her latest acquisition. “You may feel free to change clothes from the closet until we shop for your needs later.”
The robot stood up abruptly, then bowed in 90 degrees out of the blue, shocking Winter, who was looking at her and standing a few feet away from her. Then Karina spoke so confidently. “I’d be glad to assist. I’ll make sure the place is clean in no time. You may relax for now, Winter-shi.”
