Chapter Text
They had been walking for ages now, and had been in about a dozen fights.
Most of them had been in meadows or forest, but over time it had started getting colder, and snow began to to fall arround them.
"Oh my gosh its cold here. You should have brought us some warmer clothes Parrot." Wemmbu mumbles as he wraps his arms around himself to warm up.
"What, how on earth is that my fault?"
"Idk, arent u supposed to be the like smartest player in all of minecraft. Cant you use some of your forbidden powers to see the future?" Wemmbu half giggles.
"Yeah I wonder why only one of us is not freezing right now." Parrot has grin plastered on his face.
"You and your stupid bundels. Its not my fault –" Wemmbus complaints get cut off by Parrot stopping dead in his tracks.
"Uhh, bro u okay? Why are we stopping?" Wemmbu asks, confused.
Parrot stays silent, seemingly staring at a point in the distance.
Wemmbu follows his gaze, only to see a small sort of cottage.
What the heck is a house doing in the middle of nowhere in a snow biom?
Parrot stares until his legs give out, sending him to the ground.
But even laying on his hands and knees in the snow doesnt stop him from looking at that little wooden house.
"Holy fuck Parrot are you okay?" Wemmbu asks very concerned.
But all Parrot does is start breathing heavily.
Breathing way too quickly and way too much.
Hes having a panic attack, wemmbu suddenly realises.
"Shhhh, hey listen its okay, everythings fine. Parrot look at me"
He doesnt, his gaze too fixated on those wooden blocks.
Wemmbu decides that this isnt going to work, so he picks Parrot up.
The avian doesnt protest, just whispers something so quiet, Wemmbu cant make it out, eventough Parrots mouth is tucked right undet his ear.
Wemmbu finds a cave nearby and lays Parrot down.
"Do you need anything?"
Parrot doesnt answer, gaze still fixated on a point in the distance, eventhough one couldnt actually see past the cave walls.
Wemmbu sits there in silence, watching Parrot.
Hes never been very good at sitting and waiting, way less observing. Its incredibly boring and makes him feel useless.
Wemmbu hates feeling useless.
Despises it.
But for some reason sitting here and staring at Parrot wasnt that bad.
It was actually almost enjoyable.
The way his chest rose and sank, the way his lashes shined almost gold in the setting sunlight.
It was dark before he knew it, and slowly his eyes started feeling heavy.
Parrot was already asleep, so he tucked himself behind the bird and pulled him close.
He was warm, was the last thing Wemmbu could think about before, he too, let sleep wash ovet him.
