Chapter Text
“WHERE IS IIIIIT?!” Golfball kicked over a box. “Who went in here and took my stuff?!”
“Golfie, calm down!” Tennisball said. “I'm sure nobody took it.”
“He's right.” Winner picked up the box and flipped it back over. “We had that bad storm a couple of days ago, remember?”
“Have you ever lost something, and need to find it right away?” Yellow Face began, before Donut cut him off.
“Stop that, Yellow Face! We have no time for an ad. You should search too!”
Pencil sat on the box and sighed. “Why are we even looking for this anyway? You never use it for anything. You should just like...get rid of it.”
“Maybe we should give it to Two, see what they do with it.” Pillow grabbed the box from under Pencil and put it on the table.
“I don't really trust you with that,” Donut replied. “But uh, hasn't this box been empty for a while, Golfball? Your lab wouldn't have been hit by that storm pretty easily. I mean, it is underground.”
Golfball stormed up the stairs. “Who took my stuff?!”
“Maybe it was Death Pact,” Pencil suggested. “I mean, they wanna prevent like...death. Right?”
“Ooh, good point.”
“Golfie!” Tennisball hurried after her. “We can't just jump to-”
Golfball charged to Fanny. “Where's my Time-Reversal Ray?!”
“How should I know?!” Fanny wasn't one to shy away from yelling. “Last time I saw it, we used it to revive a fish! And that was seven episodes ago!”
Black Hole thought hard for a moment. “I remember leaving it back in your lab. If it's gone, then maybe somebody else found it?”
“GAH! I hate it when people touch my stuff without permission!” Golfball scowled. “I guess I'll just have to keep looking.”
Fanny snapped back. “I hate it when people say they hate something!”
“Hey guys!” Bottle called. “Guess what Grassy found!”
Grassy wriggled happily. “I'm Grassy!” He held up the very ray Golfball was searching high and low for.
“My Time-Reversal Ray! You had it?”
“Grassy found it!”
Golfball snatched it from him, receiving gasps from multiple people around the area. Grassy, meanwhile, couldn't care less.
“Thank you, Grassy! Now, I can put this back and-”
Bottle pointed at Golfball. “Now that's not nice! If you want something, you need to ask for it!”
“It's okay,” Grassy said. “She wanted it, so Grassy gave it to her!”
Tree snapped at GB next. “Give it back to him and ask him politely for it. That move might cost you some votes, just so you know. I suggest you fix it now before you get kicked off for good.”
“And kidnapped,” Pin added.
“And kidnapped!”
“I don't need to give it back to him!” Golfball defended. “He said he was going to give it to me, and he clearly doesn't care I took it back!”
Tree reached for the ray, making Golfball hop away on one foot and pull it closer to her body with the other. “Golfball...”
“Tree...”
“Here, just give it back to Grassy,” Pillow grabbed it from her. She shifted it between her hands. “Actually, I could probably get a lot of research done with this! I'm just going to take this...”
Price Tag hurried over upon hearing Pillow mention “research.” “Isn't that Golfball's? Pillow, give it back to her!”
Winner pointed to Golfball. “They have a good point. Sure, Grassy doesn't really care, but it's the polite thing to do.”
The slow bickering turned into a full fight of people wither siding with Tree and Bottle, or Golfball. Most had no clue what the teams were arguing about, simply either trying to get Two to break the fight, or to return the Time-Reversal Ray to its proper owner.
Two finally did appear, watching the discourse shift between the two sides. “Uh...Hello? Guys? Hello!”
Golfball held the ray tightly with her teeth, while Tree attempted to rip it from her grasp. “Just. Give. It. Back. To. Grassy! Gosh, you have a...REALLY...strong grip!”
“Grraphmpt!” Golfball's speech was untranslatable.
Two walked to them. “Hello? You two need to stop fighting!”
“Not now, Two! I need to...prevent...this argument!”
“Maphgrrb!”
“You never use it! At least...Death Pact...will use it...for something!”
“Uh...Yoo-hoo! Hello, it's Two! I'm here to stop the fighting! Please stop fighting!”
“Just...give...it...back...to...Grassy...and...do...this...properly! This...would...make...everything...much...easier!”

Golfball kicked him in the shin. She did not consider her actions, as Tree fell backwards and made both him and Golfball drop the Time-Reversal Ray. Two grabbed it and examined it over.
“See what happens when you fight? Now nobody gets this thing!...Whatever it is.” Two turned it over in their hands. “What is this thing?”
“That's mine!” Golfball hopped to her feet. “Two, can you give it back? I need to put it back in my lab where it belongs!”
Tree growled. “Give it to Grassy. I'm trying to teach Golfball a lesson in being respectful!”
Two looked between them as they argued at Two whether they should hand it to Grassy or Golfball. They became visibly stressed as the two began yelling at them to make a decision. The rest of the contestants followed, siding with either Tree or Golfball on who the ray should go to.
Two slapped their hands against their head, shouting. “I can't take this anymore!”
“The ray!” Winner yelled, pulling everyone's attention to the dropped Time-Reversal Ray.
“Oops!”
It hit the ground, cracking slightly. The pressure from the gun released, sending a wave that knocked everybody back. The contestants all screamed, including Two.
