It was your average day at Dekabase HQ, home to the best space police unit of Earth, the Dekarangers.
Five detectives, each possessing very unique traits and skills to solve cases and defeat criminal alienizers of outer space.
Except, today is rather peaceful, no alienizers cases for the past days or so. The Dekarangers, noticing the gap, wasted no time to do whatever things they always wanted to do, relax a bit
The blue detective, Tomasu Houji, wouldn't allow it
At the firing range, the red detective Akaza Banban is casually practicing his aim using his dual space magnums.
"4 hits out of 12, not good enough Ban" Hoji said as he entered
"Aw come on partner, I'm just letting off some steam, nothing too serious." Ban retorted
"First, don't call me partner. And second, just because it's a free day you doesnt mean you get to slack off." He walked to the control center and resetting the firing range while locking the room from the outside
"I'm not letting you leave until you hit at least 11 out of 12 shots"
"Aw come on , partner" Ban groaned as Houji continued to keep walking around the base
Hoji passes by Sen-chan, the green Detective, sound asleep sitting on an office chair, dust cloth perfectly placed on his head
He sighs before walking up to Sen and shaking him gently to wake him up, and then lectured him to boredom
"Sen, what are doing sleeping on the job? Don't you have better things to do?"
"Ah, sorry Houji-san, it's just we don't get days like this where we can relax a bit.and this office chair is particularly comfy"
"There's no rest for the space police, Sen. Best to always be busy and vigilant" Houji said as he grabbed a stack of paperwork and dropped it in front of Sen
"Ah wait.." Sen called out but Houji has already left "Sigh, and it was a good dream as well"
He them passes by another office to see Jasmine, the yellow detective, working on her computer, filing on some records.
"Ah, finally someone who's actually productive today" he praised while approaching Jasmine to examine her work on her computer.
"But I think your documentation still looks messy, I suggest redoing some of them" He pointed at the screen before leaving the roombefore Jasmine could say anything back. She can only sigh in frustration by then
Houji would end up in front of a locked bathroom door, where the Pink detective Umeko does her daily bath with her duckies. She's currently in there doing one where he can clearly hear her humming the DEKARANGER theme song
"You're taking too long in there, try taking a bath more efficiently next time" he shout at the door before closing the lights of the bathroom, scaring Umeko to shriek as she's still in the bath in pitch darkness.

Couple hours later, all the Dekarangers except Hoji hang around the main room, all visibly tired
"Gosh, Houji is just sooo strict" Umeko groaned as she collapsed on the table
"Tell me about it" Ban responded as he collapsed on the table as well "I know my pardner loves his job and wants us to get stronger, but this is too much"
"I agree" Sen added with sass, arms crossed "I'll say, if Houji ever has to train someone on anything. I think he or she will get really tired of his perfectionism"
Jasmine retorted "well,we won't know unless we see it with our own eyes but I would have to agree with you on this one"
Houji suddenly enters the room "what are you guys talking?" he asked while holding a tablet
"Nothing!!" They all said in Unison
"Anyways, I found something interesting a few minutes ago " He said has he projected the tablet onto the big hologram on the table. It displayed a peculiar figure. it seemed to be a girl and yet does not have human ears and instead replaced with weird pointy flaps on top of its head akin to a horse it possesses a tail and currently this figure is in a running motion.
"Apparently this is what you call an Uma musume, it is different from our usual alienizer suspects that they are apparently native on Earth, a combination of both The strength and personality of horses and yet condensed within the physiological and psychological level of a human girl."
Everyone else stares at the hologram with slight curiosity, and then Sen broke the silence "that is what are interesting: A human like entity that possesses strong unnatural traits similar to alienizers. though why did you bring it up?"
Houji replace the tablet and sit down with the rest of the crew "I don't know, I simply find them interesting. After all a human that possesses the strengths of horses I think that they'd be a fine addition. if you were to add them to the space police unit .Heck I wonder what will happen if I train one of them" He smiled pondering about the possibilities while the rest only look at each other with slight concern.
Then, another figured entered the room, making everyone stand up in his presence it was actually Doggie Krueger: their boss and mentor of the Earth space police.
"Good evening everyone we have a new case on our hands" He said as he walks towards his chair.
"I ever heard Hoji order explain to you what an Umamusume is. So I'll cut to the chase.
Recently, we receive reports that there's suspects of an illegal drug called Deepdope being smuggled in tracen academy, the training facility for top Umamusume all over Japan" Kruger proceeds to show a video to demonstrate. It was a recording of a victim of Deepdope
"It grants the user incredible speed,stamina and power. However, any usage of it would also give the side effect of mental deterioration on a self-destructive level"
The video proceeds to show the victim screaming frantically, punching and clawing at herself until others come in to stop her, her face filled with blood and tears.
The video then ends and leaves the whole squad shocked at the severity of the drug. "Unbelievable, who would even use such a drug" Hoji muttered as he clenches his fist.
"That's what we're trying to find out, and with the suspects located at Tracen Academy, we fear that someone has been abusing this drug on Umamusumes to win races without any concern for their well-being"
Ban slams his fist at the table" This is unacceptable, we need to find this person!"
" Correct, which is why the Space police has worked with the chairwoman to assign one of you as an Umamusume trainer to go undercover and investigate further from within. Naturally, they have already provided a trainer as well"
All five rangers stood there in silence each of them confused on who would this trainer be. Slowly everyone except Houji why does their eyes in disbelief thinking to themselves,"no, don't tell me it will be..."
"Houji, tomorrow you will enter Tracen Academy as a trainer, meet up with your trainee and report any findings"
"EHHHHHHHHH!!!??!!" The rest scream while Houji only stood there with unreadable emotions
