It’s night in the field where the Brave Olivine was stationed with the winds blowing, inside in one of the hallways the now appointed leader of the Rising Volt Tacklers, Roy was wobbling back and forth feeling tired from his duties.
“Ugggh.” He groaned as his feet were dragging them despite his tiredness. “All that learning and doing everything about the machinery for the ship was tough, I know it came with the job but…..man.” He tried to keep himself awake as he was trying to get to his room. Though his eyes were so lowered and couldn’t see where he was going as he reached a crossroad of hallways.
“Uhhhh which way was my room again?” He wondered as he was looking around trying to figure out which way his room was, he went right as he still walked there not realizing that he was so tired that he didn’t know that he was going the wrong way.
He walked right up to one of the doors thinking it was his as he opened the door that was dark. Again he was too tired to notice anything different about the room as he was
“Yaaaawn. I’m just going to sleep now, I’m too tired.” He thought to himself as he walked in, he didn’t bother changing as he just took off his coat and his shoes and then made his way to the bed and went into the covers to start sleeping. He started to get comfortable as his body started to relax from the stress and fatigue from today.
As the half hour passed he was trying to sleep but while laying there napping, he then unknowingly turned around and grabbed onto what was near him and started to cuddle it as hard as he could looking for warmth. “Man …..Skeldrege you’re so warm right now.” He thought in his head but to him it sort of felt different to him, it felt very familiar to him not unlike Skeldrege, it felt dear to him and wanted to keep it. He decided to ignore that as he was settling in this comfort place, he started to fall deep into slumber from his fatigue.
The night was still going on as there were no sounds happening other than the wind outside going through the trees outside. Inside the room was Liko who was sleeping soundly in her bed as comfortably as she was under her covers. She started to open her eyes a bit as she had slightly woken up.
“Hmmmm? Wh-what ….time is it?” She quietly muttered as she was waking up, she looked up and noticed the time. “It’s 1:35….I need to get back to sleep.” She tried to but she noticed something moving towards her in bed.
“Hmmm who….is it Meowscrada?” She looked though it was dark and her eyes were half-shut from being sleepy. It came by to her slowly and then started holding her tightly, their arms around her waist. “Meowscarda you’re holding me really tightly, I know you like me but can I sleep.” She thought as to who she thought was holding her.
She relaxed as she then went deeper into the embrace as it felt very familiar to her, not unlike her pokemon this felt different, she went in deeper wanting to know what this familiar feeling was if it wasn’t her pokemon.
She stopped as she could slightly see something sleeping at the edge of her bed, it was her Meowscrada. She pondered as if she was there cuddling in front of her, she looked and saw in front of her was a shirt that looked familiar to her.
“Wait, this shirt…..” She looks up a bit and notices the person there. It was Roy, who was deep asleep and breathing softly and was holding her tightly. She starts to blush hard as he was so close to her.
“Wwwhy is he here? Why is he holding me? I-I-I-” She was trying to think but her head was spinning with thoughts of confusion as to why he was in her bed, was he doing it on purpose and if so why? It just led to more questions that she couldn’t think of.
She didn’t want to wake him up as he looked so….peaceful while sleeping, she blushes as she thinks to herself. “He has been working alot more after Friede came back and he’s been made officially the leader. I guess if it’s only him it’s ok.” She still wondered and decided to leave him as he was. She then slowly started to drift into sleep as her own fatigue from yesterday as she rested on Roy’s chest, content with her being near him.
Roy started to move a little, waking up a bit. “Hmmmm, that was a good sleep.” He thought, looking around, it was still night but there was a bit of moonlight showing through the windows. He was trying to get up and he realized he was hugging something under the cover, as well as something hugging him back.
“Wait this doesn’t feel like Skeldrege, and his arms that long to reach me. Who-” He rubs his eyes and then notices who it was. It was Liko in the covers along with him with a smile on her face, her black/blue hair splayed all over. Roy then realized he was in bed with Liko, and she and him were both cuddling each other.
“D-Did I go into the wrong room?!” He then starts to blush harshly as he was worried he was too close to her but notices she looks really comfortable in his arms, and her grip on him felt a bit tight as if she wanted to be in an embrace with him. “Huh ... .she's really holding onto me, maybe she likes it?” He wondered looking at her, she looked so peaceful with her head on his chest. "Maybe......I can sleep with her.Just for today." He tried to think that she might’ve enjoyed it as after a while he settled back into the bed and embraced her and went back to sleep.
After a while it was nearing the morning as light was starting to show in the room. It shows the bed which contains two individuals sleeping and the two were cuddling together holding each other as if they were both the only source of warmth. Inside the room, Meowscrada was laying near her trainer’s legs on the bed, Hatterene was near the corner sleeping with Pagogo inside her coat, and Armarouge was sitting down on the other corner sleeping but looking sharpish as if it was guarding something, namely his trainer.
Liko begins to stir up as the light starts to hit her eyes, she yawns as she notices Roy next to her still cuddling her. “Hm Roy is still sleeping, I hope he enjoyed it.” She whispered to herself. She exhaled and rubbed his face glad that Roy looked relaxed. It’s odd she was nervous when she first saw him cuddling her but she’s now ok with it, maybe it’s because she’s attracted to him which if it was the former she’d need to think that over another time.
She then heard Roy yawn meaning he was waking up as well, his eyes open, stretches, turns around his head, then looks up and sees Liko’s smiling face.
“Good morning Roy, did you enjoy your sleep?” She says softly and he blushes deeply, he exhales and stood up and was sitting up on bed.
“Good morning to you too Liko.” He said, smiling back at her. “And yeah….I did enjoy it….sorry for sleeping in your bed.” He apologized to her while rubbing his head. She was still blushing but was still smiling at him.
“It’s alright Roy, you were probably too tired to notice.” She softly said to him as they were both not knowing how to talk to each other as they were both cuddling with each other in their sleep.
While they were in this awkwardness, Liko’s pokemon were waking up as well, Meowscrada sees Roy on the bed and gets confused at this and looks at him making a glare but then sees Liko looking stern at her, she then stops as she gets up and stretches as she walks to the other corner wanting to converse with the other pokemon.
Liko and Roy then look at each other and smile at each other. “So….you want to get up?” Roy asked to which Liko nods as they both get up while both are holding each other’s hands.
“Guess……I’ll go to my room then…..um see ya for breakfast.” He said, still looking a bit red in the face as he grabs his vest and bolts out of the door. Liko was surprised at first but then blushed a bit as well. “Yeah…..see you too Roy.” She said smiling as she went and got ready for her day.
One thing is for sure, breakfast with him is going to be interesting, along with telling them where Roy was.
