“Well this is uh… unexpected.” Enjin said blankly and then glanced back at Riyo. The red head just stares. Her eyes are wide and almost fearful. What did she do wrong? Why can’t she move on? Why is she here?
Standing behind them is the staff user, Zanka takes a glance at you and then glances back at Riyo. It’s not hard to notice her sudden change of mood, and it’s definitely not that hard to see who she’s staring at.
“Who’s that?” Zanka commented. But he already guessed. Consider Riyo’s sharp breath inhales and Enjin’s concerned expression.
Must be someone who brings trouble.
“Everyone!” Corvus said, loud enough that most of the room had to turn to look at him.
“This is our newest recruit, her name is _____ and she’ll be participating as a cleaner from now on along with team Child.” He announced and you nodded along with a small wave.
“WOAH! NEW FRIENDS!” a girl in a Kaiju onesie jumps up happily and immediately bounced over to greet you. Your scent noticed how she smells like a warm blanket, how comforting. It’s not like you know much about comfort, but it’s a nice change. Right behind her is a kid. An actual kid. With a pacifier in his mouth.
“I’M GUITA HEBBY FANTASIA! And this is Dear Santa! We’re gonna be your closest of close friends cause we’re both from Team Child too!” She said excitedly while holding your hand. Wow, she seems… nice? A little too nice.
“Nice to meet you uhm, Guita. I’m ____, 15. Glad to work with you soon” You tried to smile but seriously this girl is standing a little too close. Can someone talk to her about personal space?
“Guita. Don’t scare a new girl off.” A man, around 30 with a beard and a bandana walks over and thankfully pulls Guita away from you. You don’t know who he is but you are internally thanking him.
“I’m Bro Santa, your supervisor. It’s nice to see new recruits this young.” He said kindly. Wait Santa? He’s related to that mean looking kid?? You glanced down at Dear and the kid is already glaring at you. He should relax those eyebrows or else he’ll look 50 at the age of 20, you thought.
While you were busy making friends and talking to your teammates, at another table in the room, Riyo still looked like someone just sucked out her soul. Is Amo using her power right now? She just can’t help it but look around to make sure this is real. That she’s not just imagining all this trouble. But unfortunately, reality slapped her in the face like a bitch. Enjin looks at her with a sigh. Zanka’s still waiting for an answer, and Rudo looks even more confused.
“So?” Zanka speaks up, snapping her out of her trance.
“Riyo you good?” Even Rudo’s asking.
She tries to look over to Enjin for help. But the fraud just shrugs.
“Your choice to tell them or not.”
Riyo takes a deep sigh and turns to look at them both with a worried smile.
“She’s uhm… kinda.. My ex-girlfriend?”

Honestly if it weren’t for Riyo’s intensely distressed expression. Enjin’d been cackled out loud by Zanka and Rudo’s bizarre reaction.
Zanka looks confused, very confused. He blinks a few times before fully registering what she just said. So Riyo, in fact, has not been the untouchable blank headed person he’s always been expecting? Well yeah everyone in the cleaners had a tragic past. It’s basically a requirement at this point, but this? This is new. Zanka didn’t even fully know about Riyo’s past but he’s still shocked as hell.
Rudo, on the other hand, is also confused. But not in the way he should be.
“Wait girls can kiss girls?”
Yeah that, Enjin can’t help it.
He let out a loud cackle, throwing his head back and holding his stomach like an idiot. Of course some people looked over, and it’s not hard to catch Gris’s endearing smile over the blonde male. Follo and Tomme just side eyes with each other. Oh the gaybos.
“HAHAHA RUDO!” He laughs even harder at Rudo’s confused wide eyes.
“HEY! WHAT’S WRONG WITH SOME GENUINELY CONFUSION HUH?” Rudo tried to fight back but that just makes Enjin laugh even harder. Riyo can’t help but let out a soft giggle despite the situation. While Zanka just smirks.
“Wow, careful Rudo, at this rate you’ll discover men can do that too” His sarcasm is just natural, making Enjin laugh even harder.
“Huh? Of course men can kiss women, that I knew”

Seriously, how dumb can this kid get?
“No, I mean men can kiss other men too, you slow brat!” He sighs, but doesn't forget to throw Enjin a glare.
Yeah, practically everyone in this room knows about Enjin and Gris' situation, but does anyone dare to talk out loud about it? Unfortunately, no. Enjin seems to catch that, and his laugh becomes a small chuckle and dies out before he throws an arm around Rudo, making the kid almost trip over.
“Ok well, we should be focusing on Riyo’s little situationship over here.” He tried to steer the attention off of him, of course. Riyo glanced at him, unimpressed.
“It’s not a situationship. We… kinda broke up”
“Ah hah!” Enjin grins like he just got a criminal to confess.
“Explain ‘kinda’” Zanka crossed his arms, while Rudo just tried not to fall because of Enjin’s insane weight.
“Uh..”
However, before she can even open her mouth and fake up a lie, a smooth voice made her practically jump.
“Hello.” You greeted while walking over to the supporters. Not their table. Riyo silently let out a small breath she was holding. But unfortunately for her, those little reactions weren’t so obvious because when she looked up, Rudo and Zanka looked at her with some genuine shock and … pity?
Enjin also drops his playful grin when she suddenly stands up.
“I’m full.” Riyo said quickly and immediately ran off.
Zanka and Rudo glanced at each other before glaring at Enjin, who just let out a loud sigh.
“Fine, I’ll go talk to her.”
