The Sunflower's Four Starflowers

Summary:

Miles had just come back to his tiny apartment from a grueling patrol when he got a call from the police station. The officer gave him some shocking news.
He had never expected to become a father, much less a father of quadruplets.
It was a good thing that he was secretly rich. Otherwise, he wasn't sure how he could raise his four daughters.

Hobie, Pav, and Gwen know something is up. Miles has been missing for three months and hasn't texted them once. Miguel isn't telling them anything except that Miles is fine and the Earth-1610 Spider will tell them when he's ready. So, what do they do?
What they always do.
Go visit their Sunflower behind Miguel's back.

(OR: Secretly Rich Miles Becomes a Girl Dad)

Chapter 1

Summary:

Miles and Milo are 25 years old in this.
Miles' daughters are 5.
Hobie is 26. Gwen, her twin, and pav are 25.
(I call Uncle Aaron from Earth-42 AJ)
Earth-1610 Uncle Aaron survived, and knows that Miles is Spider-Man. He's paralyzed from the waist down and AJ made it to where Kingpin thinks he's dead so he doesn't finish the job until either Miles can put him away for good, or until the big back bitch dies. (AJ's words, not mine)

Chapter Text

It was dark. He was exhausted.

Crawling through his apartment window he stumbled over to his bathroom to rid himself of his ripped-up suit. It felt sticky and gross due to the small amounts of blood quickly seeping through the fabric. He wished his healing ability worked faster.

He stripped the suit off and turned on the water in the shower. He waited for it to warm up and took out his contact lenses before stepping in and groaning as the temperature began soothing his injured body. One of his newest villains of the week had slammed him into the corner of a building before Miles had been able to web him up.

One thing he wasn't looking forward to is that he had to wash his hair again for the second night in a row. Hair wash day had been yesterday but since one of his criminals tossed him into a dumpster and one of the bags leaked out, he needed to wash it again. It was one of the 'perks' of being Spider-Man.

He had let his hair grow out until it was an afro that more often than not covered his eyes.

Miles took the time to wash his hair thoroughly with the products that his mother and his Aunt Ria had made for his hair.

Fun fact: Both sides of his family had a history of having twins. His father had two older brothers, Aaron and AJ. His father's twin was a still birth. Miles knew that it bothered him even if he didn't show it. His mother and her sister were the only pair of twins on her side of the family. Miles and Milo knew that if they ever had kids then their kids would most likely be twins as well.

As he stepped out of the shower and turned off the water, his phone rang. Miles wrapped a towel around his waist and headed to the living room, where he had left his phone. He picked it up and looked at the caller ID.

Why was the station calling him at this hour?

He answered on the fourth ring.

"Hello?" he greeted tiredly.

"Is this Miles Morales?" the voice on the other end asked.

Who the hell else would it be?

"Yes, can I ask why you're callin'?" he demanded, frustrated that his sleep was being put off.

"This is Officer Smith at the NYPD, I'm sorry to wake you but we need you to come down to the station. Someone dropped off four little girls here. They left a document and birth certificates with the girls, and it listed you as their father. The certificates, however, did not list their mother." the officer explained, their tone apologetic and concerned.

Miles' mind spun for a moment as he thought.

A father? Him? To four little girls?

"H-How old are they again?" he asked, confused, trying to come up with the timeline of when they were possibly conceived.

There was some shuffling on the other end.

"All girls are five years old sir, quadruplets." Officer Smith informed him.

Suddenly it clicked. He was black out drunk about five to six years ago (He couldn't remember the exact number of years it had been) and woke up with an unknown girl in his hotel bed. He had left a note to explain that he had to go, but to call him if she needed anything, then left his name and number. He'd created a game that had gone viral and then opened his bar/club, The Veiled Path, a few days later along with an affordable gym just to make sure he'd have stable income just in case his game didn't last long.

"I'll be there soon." he told the officer then hung up before grabbing some clean clothes from his closet while tying his hair up into a messy bun. He threw on a pair of ripped black skinny jeans along with a light grey sweater and his black, red, and white Jordans. He put on one of his chains as well and grabbed his oversized red hoodie before throwing it on and rushing out of his apartment after grabbing his car keys. He needed to stop by the house he had bought the year before to get his black van, just so he had enough room to fit the girls and their car seats comfortably. He had bought a few houses all over New York, so he had a place to crash after his patrols.

He sped through the nearly empty streets of Brooklyn to get to his house. Once he got there, he opened up the gates and drove up his long ass driveway and into his garage. Miles parked before throwing his door open and rushing over to his van. He got in and took off towards the station.

He cursed as he remembered something. He took out his phone and called his assistant. He knew that they would probably be asleep at the moment, but he needed him to prepare a room for his girls.

The line picked up after the second ring.

"Boss? You hardly ever call me at this time of night. What can I do for you?" came the groggy voice of his assistant, Henry.

"Yo Hen, I need you to get a room ready for me at the main house. I got a call a few minutes ago and I'm goin' to pick up my daughters at the station. I need you to get the biggest princess bed ready for my four little girls and have Mister Jones stock the fridge for me so I can make breakfast in the morning." he instructed as he focused on getting to the station as fast as he could without breaking the speed limits. His pops would kill him if he did.

"You have kids, Sir?" Henry asked, his tone becoming more alert and confused.

"Apparently. I got black out drunk when I was twenty and had a one-night stand with a girl. She dumped them at the station and took off. They called me earlier. I got four little girls to take care of. I wanna make sure they're safe and comfortable in their new home. They're all five, so if you could get toys that five-year-old girls like, that would be great. I'm gonna need to call my familia tomorrow so they can meet the girls later." he explained, turning the corner and onto the street that the station was on.

"Of course, Sir. Leave it to me. Everything will be ready for you when you get home." Henry assured him. There was shuffling on the other side as Miles assumed Henry was getting dressed to get everything done. He really needed to give the man a raise for how hard he worked and for all the bullshit he put him through with his shenanigans.

"Gracias, Henry." he thanked before hanging up and going into his banking app. He changed Henry's salary from $20k a month to $30k a month. The guy deserved it for putting up with Miles' shit for so long.

Henry was the only one outside of his family and Ganke that knew he was Spider-Man. The other Spiders didn't count because they were also Spider-People. He'd told Henry after his assistant had found him bleeding from various injuries in his office. He had still been wearing his suit at the time and needed a place to crash while his wounds healed. Henry had walked in the next morning to find him passed out on the couch with his suit torn in different places with some of his wounds scabbed over.

Miles parked his van by the front of the station and stepped out of it before calming himself down and opening the door to the lobby. He strode in before going up to the receptionist desk. The officer that sat there was a woman that looked just a little older than himself.

"Hola, I'm here to see an Officer Smith?" he greeted tiredly.

The lady looked up at him and rolled her eyes before picking up the phone and pressing the button for the PA system.

Okay, rude.

"Officer Smith, to the front please. You have a visitor." she called bitterly before hanging up and scoffing at him. She picked up the book that she had been reading and began reading again while chewing some gum.

Real fuckin' rude. What was this perra's problem?

Suddenly an older officer stepped out from around the corner. He looked as tired as Miles felt.

"Mr. Morales?" he asked.

The girl at the desk jolted for a second and her head whipped up to look at him with wide, terrified eyes. He looked at the name tag on her uniform. Nancy Johnson. He'd remember that and have a talk with his pops later.

"That's me." he greeted the older officer.

"Any relation to a Jefferson Morales?" Officer Smith asked with a warm but exhausted smile.

"That would be my pops. He ain't overworking himself, is he?" he smiled back and shook the older man's hand.

"Not that I've seen. But if we see that he starts to, we'll make sure he takes breaks, Miles." Officer Smith assured. The officer motioned for him to follow him.

The older man led him through the station and down a hall before stopping at a door with a window. He peered in and saw four little girls huddled together on the couch in the room. They looked at him with apprehensive expressions. Their eyes stared into his soul with fear and sadness. Their cheeks were sunken in and they looked too skinny. They were too small to be five years old. They looked malnourished, it was probably why they were so small.

He felt his heart break as more details about the girls stood out to him.

Their eyes darted around, as if looking for a way out, or looking for any possible threats. They were tense and terrified, as if expecting something bad to happen.

"What happened to them?" he asked softly. His voice filled with sadness and grief.

Officer Smith sighed.

"We're not sure, but after getting them examined by the doc on call, it didn't look good. They're malnourished and there's evidence of past abuse. If you take them in, I'm letting you know that it will be a long road to recovery for all of them. It'll take a lot of time, patience, love, and hard work to get them past this. Are you still willing to do this? I'm not going to lie; it's going to be hard. For all five of you." he questioned gently.

Miles didn't even have to think about any other option. These were his girls, his babies. They needed him. And if they needed a hero? Well, he wasn't Spider-Man for nothing.

"A Morales doesn't give up when things get tough. These are my girls, my babies." he started gently, pausing for a moment. His eyes began to sting the longer he looked at them, "My friends and family keep telling me that I got a big heart, that I got a lot of love to give and not many people to give it to. Now, I don't know what the future holds, but I know that I'm gonna do my damnedest to make sure those girls know that they're loved. Having a lot of family and friends to help me figure out how to be a dad ain't bad either." Miles explained, trying his best not to let his tears fall.

He could see the officer smile at him out of the corner of his eye before opening the door for him.

Miles stepped through the door and slowly made his way to the girls. He didn't want to scare them. They were too tense and terrified as is.

He crouched in front of them and smiled warmly.

"Hola pequeños, I'm Miles, but you can call me Papa if you want. I'm here to take you to your new home with me, okay?" he greeted gently.

All four nodded.

"Y-yes sir." all four mumbled.

He could feel his heart crack at that.

"Hey, you don't have to call me sir. I'm your Papa. Meaning all you need to do is just have fun and stay healthy, a'ight?" he told them, trying to keep a kind smile on his face no matter how hard it was.

They nodded again. Their eyes were still wary, but they seemed to relax the tiniest bit.

Suddenly his Spidey-sense triggered. His head buzzed in the same way that it had when he had first met the Peter of his world and when he had met the other spiders.

Like me, same, like me... It seemed to say.

When it stopped, he looked at the girls with wide eyes. They looked back at him with the same expression.

Well shit.
