Spoke’s pov-
It had been day after day after day of constant fighting- Of players wanting to kill him for crimes he's tried to make up for. Sure he’s made a few mistakes here and there, but he’s not a bad person. He’s not. It’s everyone else, their the ones hunting him down. He helped take down a dictator, he helped take down the mafia, so why, why do people still try to attack him. He killed Leo; there shouldn’t have been anyone hunting him anymore. He was tired, so, so, tired. A deep ache settled into his bones and he just looked blankly at the ground in front of him. The soil was mushy and soaked with blood. Iron armor and diamond armor and weapons littered the ground before him.
Mapicc wasn’t even here, he couldn’t hug him and push down his troubles, he didn’t have anyone to pretend for. He felt so blank, like a white canvas left alone in a room to gather dust. Maybe Zam was around, if he was then-......oh wait, he told Zam to look for Mapicc. He was alone. Spoke didn’t want to be alone, not when he could still feel, not when this thing in his chest continued to beat and bleed. A few drops landed on his face, at first he wondered if he was crying, no, he wouldn’t cry over something like this. It must be raining, yeah that's what it is, it’s raining right now. That's why his face feels wet, it must be. Spoke’s eyes flicker upwards just a little. He should stand up now, he should get up before more people come. His hand falls onto the ground, something wet coats his hand but he doesn’t bother looking up, he knows what it is. His legs feel like they don’t want to work but he forces himself up anyways. His legs shake at first but he ignores it, one step after another, his shoes crushing little red flowers with every step. His left hand is gripping his trident, the blue handle was smooth under his hands, almost as if he was dragging his hands over the surface of a clean lake. Yet the trident wasn't clean, not in his hands it wasn’t. With every step it felt like his limbs were being filled with lead, where was he even walking, was it to his base? No, it was blown up…he didn’t have anywhere to go, or anyone to go to. That thought wrung something in his stomach, a nauseous feeling welled up in his stomach and burned his throat. He had been blankly walking for several moments until he stepped on a branch causing it to snap. He blankly looked up, “huh, when did I get to a jungle biome?” He muttered to himself, the more he looked at the biome the more a person came to mind. Parrot, Parrot would let him stay with him.
The avian had helped him the last time he wasn’t in the right mental state, and his relationship with Parrot had improved significantly after defeating law. His eyes sparkled with a renewed sense of life. His limbs felt less heavy and he hurriedly went to the castle where Parrot resided. He had made sure to avoid as many people as possible, when he made it the castle stood tall above him, the intricate designs on the wall layering upon itself in spirals. When he got to the top of the steps he was worried the guards would stop him but looking at the entrance he had noticed that in fact there were no guards. His brows furrowed in confusion, shouldn’t he have at least one guard at the front just in case? He felt something twist in his stomach but shook it off, it was probably just a Parrot thing to do. He walked through the halls marveling at the sheer amount of rooms in it. Stair cases that led higher and hallways looked to stretch on for miles. Spoke wondered if Parrot ever got lost in his own palace, the thought brought out a little laugh from Spoke. He couldn’t wait to see Parrot, just thinking of the bird had brightened his mood spectacularly. It was almost as if he had more energy than before.
or someone to pretend in front of, someone to reassure him that he’s not a bad person.
He didn’t hesitate to fling the door open to Parrot’s office, his voice ringing out in the silence. “The great SpokeIsHere has arrived!” He had expected to see Parrot sitting at his desk looking at him in irritation, though the sight before him was quite a different one. He saw Parrot violently flinch before turning around with wide eyes. His bags were dark and his eyes seemed much dimmer, and his complexion was much lighter. Parrot normally looked angelic with his soft features and often calm expression that betrayed nothing, now he just looks dead. Spokes eyes bore into Parrot, had it been anyone else he wouldn’t have cared much, whatever happened to other people wasn't his problem, but this was Parrot. The person who forgave him and proved that he was redeemable, that he wasn’t like Ash. Something close to irritation spiked in his heart but before he could ask Parrot smiled softly.
“Oh, Spoke. What brings you here?” The question snaps out of his thoughts, he wouldn’t question it, at least not yet.
“Uhhh, so funny story. My base got blown up and I didn’t have anywhere else to go.” Spoke replies playfully. His head tilted to the side as he looked at Parrot awaiting his answer.
“Oh, yeah you can stay here definitely. I'll show you a room.” Parrot says walking closer, his voice is quiet Spoke notes. Spoke doesn’t really like his behavior, it’s almost as if he’s a shell of his former self. Despite his thoughts he smiled wider and hopped towards Parrot clinging onto him.
It felt nice
Spoke mentally noted that Parrot felt thinner, his eyes briefly glancing at the state of his wings. They were dirty and unkept, how weird. Parrot huffed in mild irritation before lightly pushing him off, Spoke only grinned and backed off with his hands up. “How did your base even get blown up in the first place?” Parrot's sudden question caught him off guard, a mild tinge of discomfort festered in his chest and clawed at his throat. His smile tightened before forcing it to relax.
“Ehhhhh you know how it is. When people don’t like you and all the new players joining said factions, you get attacked….like a lot.” Spoke didn’t miss the way Parrot tensed slightly or how he looked down slightly. Oh, that's why he looked so dejected, the influx of players was really affecting the server and by extension who Parrot considered friends.
Spoke hoped Parrot considered him a friend.
Spoke could tell Parrot felt bad, it was extremely obvious, it's not like he directly caused the situation. Sure his actions may have played a part but Parrot was kind, unlike him, like him. They had similar goals of saving the server, albeit different means of going about said goal. Spoke followed Parrot closely as they walked through the halls, there wasn’t much conversation but Spoke didn't mind too much at the moment. The moment they arrived at the spare room Parrot left shortly after citing work that needed to be done. Spoke looked around the room mildly impressed, it was a nice room. The wallpaper was a grey-ish green and the hedge was made out of spruce wood. The furniture was nice and clean, the bed a soft red color. Spoke spotted a couch off to the side and plopped down on it. He was bored, he felt slightly better from earlier, though he still felt concern for Parrot. An idea popped into his head and he jumped up, he knew just how to rid himself of boredom. He walked the halls with his hands behind his head, humming a small tune to himself. He figured Parrot would be in his room so he walked around until he found Parrot’s bedroom and holy shit was it huge. His bed had a sort of canopy above it and a small tree was off to the side. There had also been a huge window near what he assumed was a fire place, sounds kinda counterproductive to him but he can’t really do anything about it. He sees Parrot curled on his bed, his wings hanging limply onto the floor. He wants to touch them, Spoke always did what he wanted. He skipped over to Parrot’s bed and poked at his side, “Parrot, Parrot, wake upp.” Spoke sang continuing to poke Parrot, he probably shouldn’t have tried waking up Parrot since this was probably his first time sleeping in a few days but since Spoke already started there was no point in taking it back now. Parrot let out a small groan and rolled over causing Spoke to back up a bit.
“Bro, what do you want?” Parrot grumbled, clearly irritated at being woken up. Parrot squinted an eye looking at spoke, his green eyes seem to be a little less dull which is good! Spoke was so close he could count the freckles sprinkled on Parrot’s face.
“Let me preen your wings!” Spoke said with a grin, looking at him expectantly.
“No.” The response was clipped and blunt. Spoke had to take a second to register his words, of course he hadn’t expected to agree easily but seeing his fast response nearly took him aback. Spoke didn’t give up though.
“Pleaseeeeee!” Spoke whined clinging to Parrot, the avian let out a small yelp as Spoke tackled him.
“Get off me!!” Parrot yelled, gritting his teeth. He tried to wrestle Spoke off of him but Spoke hung on closely.
“I won’t get off unless you allow me to preen your wings!” Spoke said, his tone full of confidence. Spoke could see the frustration on Parrot's face, if Spoke was anyone else he might not have seen the flicker of reluctant acceptance on his face. Spoke knew he won when Parrot huffed out a “fine.” Spoke backed away from Parrot, his grin now even wider as he observed Parrot's face. Parrot seemed to be expressing more emotion, that was good, that had meant Spoke was doing good. He was helping someone he considered a friend feel better. That meant that he was a good person. Spoke nodded to himself about the observation. He watched as Parrot reluctantly sat up, his wings dragging behind him as their full length spread on the bed. Parrot's wings were beautiful despite the miscare, the blue feathers fading into a soft green, he reached a hand out and gently touched Parrot’s left wing, he noticed a slight twitch of his wing, which Spoke assumed was Parrot being cautious about Spoke touching his wings. He made sure his hand was gentle as he could possibly get it as he began taking debris out of the nooks of his wings. Spoke picked out stuff like leaves and rocks, how did rocks get into his wings? Spoke thinks to himself, he continues to pick out small stuff, he was almost done with the left wing when he realized he didn’t actually know how to preen wings. He mentally faced palms but he couldn't ask now; He’d lose all his aura if he did! Spoke considered himself pretty smart and so his best idea was to guess what to do, he could totally figure it out. Spoke looked really hard at the feathers, hesitantly he began to smooth out and straighten feathers that didn't align with the others. He glanced up at Parrot for a second to see if he did anything wrong but Parrot didn’t react in the slightest. Spoke assumed he was doing it right then so he continued, after a few more minutes Spoke leaned back and considered his work done enough. He moves onto the next wing and begins the same process, it was easier this time since he partly knew what he was doing. His hands were less awkward and more relaxed, soon enough he was done and jumped back proudly. “I’m done!” He announced, his voice full of pride, Parrot looked back at his wings, Spoke could see the flicker of surprise in his eyes.
“Wow, you actually did a good job.” Parrot muttered, touching his wings. Spoke beamed, he truly was amazing wasn’t he. Parrot looked away from his wings and smiled at him. Spoke was a little caught off guard with the smile since the Parrot he knew normally had a somewhat blank expression. “Thanks, I mean it really. Thank you.‘ Parrot said, Spoke blinked in surprise but smiled back just as brightly.
“No problem!” Spoke said he was happy, he liked this feeling. If he talked with Parrot more he could continue feeling happy.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------
It had been a couple of hours since he preened Parrot’s wings, they had had a pleasant conversation and even played a game. Parrot also seemed happier so that was a bonus in his book. He skipped back to his room, but the closer he got to his room the more the giddy feeling in his stomach subsided. It faded into a more blank feeling, he was alone again. For some reason the halls seemed so much wider and the space was much more empty now. When did it become so quiet? His steps seemed so much louder now, no. no. no. Stop thinking, he knocks himself on the head a few times, if he stops thinking he won’t think about Mapicc things he doesn't want to. He walked quicker to his room, he needed something to do, he couldn’t bother Parrot anymore since he was busy as king and he wasn’t that close to Theo or Flame and Wemmbu, it's not that they weren’t friends but they weren’t close enough to have casual conversations. He didn’t realize he was in front of his room until he hit his head on the door. Spoke’s eyes widened and he clutched his head, he looked up in surprise, oh he's at his room, he opened the door and the first thing his eyes landed on was a chest. In the dead center of the room, there was a chest with a sign. Cation filled his chest as he hesitantly stepped closer to it. He knelt down a little and checked the lock of the chest, there wasn't any red behind it, so it wasn't a trap chest. He looked at it a little longer and decided to open it, inside was a single book. He picked it up and examined it, turning it over in his hands. It looked like a regular book but wasn't signed by anyone, he hummed to himself, welp might as well open it since he already grabbed it. Inside the book was a set of coordinates, it wasn't too far off, something was telling him he shouldn’t go but he decided to go anyway’s what's the worst that can happen. His trident appeared in his hand and a water bucket in the other, he walked over to the window and broke it, he’ll figure out an explanation for that later. Jumping out the window, he had realized that his room was much higher than he anticipated. The drop was incredibly long and he could feel his stomach in his throat, the moment he came close to the ground he splashed the water landing safely. A small bead of sweat dripped down his cheek as he thought about how close that was. Deciding to forget about it he used his trident to launch himself forward. Around 10 minutes of just launching himself through the air he had finally arrived at the place. Spoke switched his items back into his inventory and looked around, shoving his hands into his pockets as he did so. “Hmmm.” The place looked empty, a pang of irritation shot up through his body, if he got pranked he was going to find that person and do something…..he just didn't know what yet. He turned his head to the side about to walk back when he spotted invis particles off to the side. His gaze narrowed and his posture shifted to face the person. The person must have noticed him looking since they took out a bucket and began to drink it. The person before him made his blood boil, it was him, Ashsewag. “What do you want.” His words came out cold and more of a statement, his hands balled into fist. Why had Ash appeared in front of him? The last time Ash and him had spoken Ash had told him that he would come back when Spoke became like him. But spoke wasn’t like him, he was good, he had good intentions. He would never be like Ash.
“The server’s a mess you know, I've been watching. Getting hunted down by players you've indirectly helped is quite tragic isn’t it? I can help.” Ash said, his voice drifted around in the silence. He moved towards Spoke, his hands extended onto his shoulders. The weight pressing down like chains, Spoke looked at him blankly, he couldn’t outright deny his words because it was true, it was tiring. He had spent weeks being exhausted and his stuff was losing durability by the day. As much as he hated to admit it, Ash was right. But he wouldn't tell him that, he wouldn’t give ASh the satisfaction of knowing his words had gotten to him, so he pushed him away.
“Get away from me, I don’t want your help.” He spat, his voice full of venom. Ash only chuckled in return. Spoke watched as Ash pulled out a sword, it was a deep black. It absorbed no light and a type of smoke radiated off of it almost like his skin. Ash on the other hand seemed to keep it far away from his body, with careful motions Ash hit a nearby tree with the sword and it began disintegrating into nothing. Spokes eyes went wide. He instantly pulled out his trident ready to fight if needed. Ash merely smiled at how guarded Spoke seemed.
“Worry not, I do not wish to fight. Consider this a gift of sorts.” He said smoothly, he extended the blade towards Spoke. There was no clean yet it seemed to pull him in, for some reason Spoke reached out his hand and touched the blade. He didn’t know why he did so but he just felt like he needed to. The moment he touched the blade a zap felt like it twisted his bones and entered his blood. He jerked his hand back, expecting to see blood or his hand disintegrating. But there was nothing, even Ash looked surprised at what just happened. “I didn’t expect it to actually resonate with you.” His words caused Spoke to stare at him, had he known he would touch the blade? If so, this was his attempt at getting rid of him. Spoke wanted to get rid of Ash, but he couldn’t, not when that sword was still in his hands. He wanted it. What if he had other items to harm people with. “Seeing as my original plan failed, I now come as a mentor, I'll teach you everything I know.” Ash said, his smile more menacing now, much more reminiscent of his mafia days. Ash walked towards Spoke, every step forward was a step back for Spoke. Ash took Spokes' hand and forced him to hold the sword. It felt right in his hands. It began to shift and worm itself into a new shape- a trident. Spoke only stared at it with wide eyes, he looked up at Ash. A clock seemed to start ticking in his mind, he heard a ringing in his ears but couldn’t point where it was coming from. That was until Ash whispered something that made everything in his head go clear.

Parrots pov-
Parrot sat in his room, he only blankly stared out the window. He watched as the birds flew by and the clouds drifted amidst. He heard a door open behind him and he wondered if it was Spoke again. A small part of him hoped it was, the voidling was able to keep his mind off the voices in his head whispering demeaning threats and screams of hatred. He looked behind him only for his eyes to land on a tall blonde figure. It was Theo. Parrot looked away immediately, he didn't want Theo to see him like this, especially not when he ruined the server even more. He couldn’t even look at Theo if he tried, he’d only feel guilty if he did. He heard walking behind him and only clenched his hands, small beads of blood welling up beneath his nails.
“Can you look at me, please?” Theo’s voice was soft, but Parrot didn’t want to fall for it, he didn’t want to look behind him and potentially be met with a disappointed gaze. So, he firmly kept his gaze on the ground, he could feel an invisible weight pressing against his back as a brow tail hovered in his vision- he didn’t look. He heard Theo sigh, “dude, it's okay. Sure everything's not going perfect but you're still trying your best.” This got Parrot to look up, Theo was just saying that, he knew he was. Parrot still didn’t say anything as Theo walked closer and sat on his bed. He knew that Theo knew he had been avoiding him, as much as he hated to admit it, it was very obvious. He wasn’t going outside and for weeks now, he had been staying by himself. Every assasination attempt was dealt with before Theo even had the chance to help. Theo took Parrot’s hand in his and smiled softly, Parrot wondered why Theo was still being nice to him after he fucked up so bad. All he had wanted to do was help the server, but with the new influx of people there aren’t enough resources and people are starting to hate him more. Sure he has an army due to the new players but the words of the old are starting to get to him. Their hateful and venomous words echoing in his head at every moment. “I know what you're thinking so stop, It’s not your fault. You didn’t know and nobody explained anything to you.” Theo’s voice was clear, Parrot knew he was right but he still felt guilty. Everything was indirectly and directly his fault, even what happened to Spoke he indirectly caused. Parrot still didn’t respond and Theo only sighed. “Since this isn’t going anywhere i’ll come back later okay?” Parrot only nodded, Theo smiled softly and patted Parrot’s head before getting up and leaving. Parrot was left alone with his thoughts, and finally he looked to the side where he spotted Wifies. Wifies had just been staring at Parrot and seeing as Parrot finally looked at him Wifies smiled. Parrot had started seeing Wifies a couple weeks after becoming king, he never spoke, he just sat there looking at Parrot. Parrot numbly went to the window and stared at it. While standing there he saw something coming towards the window, he squinted and looked closer.
“What in the-” He started to say before the window was smashed into pieces of glass. His eyes widened and he fell backwards. Was it another assassin!? He quickly drew his sword from his inventory, his shoulders tense.
“Mannn, that could have been bad!” A laugh soon followed and Parrot just stared.
“SPOKE!?” Parrot yelled, Parrot's irritation spiked as he looked at the shorter male. He just broke his window and just gave him a heart attack! He sighed and put his sword back in his inventory, he’s going to kill this kid bro. Parrot started at Spoke unamused, his arms crossed as he tapped a talon against the wood of the floor. Spoke seemed to realize the mess he made and laughed a little.
“Whoops?” Spoke murmured with a hopeful shrug. Parrot only sighed and stared at the boy.
“So what do you want?” Parrot asked impatiently. Spoke’s face seemed to tighten a little much to Parrot's confusion. Parrot almost felt nervous seeing Spoke walk closer to him. He looked almost creepy, Parrot’s fight or flight instincts kicked in and he backed up a little.
“You know how the server is a mess right?” Spoke asked, his head tilted to the side in an unnerving smile.
“Yeah…?” Parrot replied nervously, he looked to the side, the room itself felt like it was closing in.
“I have an idea and I need your help.” Spoke said, he grabbed his hands and looked at him “sweetly.”
“How do you plan to do that?”
“I found an exploit and a sword that let me make our problems go away.” Parrot raised his brow at the emphasis on the word our. As nervous as Parrot was, he was slightly intrigued at the idea of being able to fix his problems.
“Exploits? What kind?” He questioned cautiously, exploits were dangerous, he didn’t want to use exploits but if it helped he could maybe try using them.
“I can’t explain it, but you can help me right?” Spoke looked at him expectantly, the look Spoke gave him made him shudder. Parrot could already hear the unspoken words, he felt compelled to agree, he’s the reason Spoke needed somewhere to go and he was the reason that Spoke kept getting attacked.
“I'll help….” He said reluctantly, this wouldn’t be so bad. If he helped then he could make everything right and if he makes everything right then nobody will hate him anymore. Spoke smiled.
“Can you get an army together?" Spoke asked suddenly, Parrot swallowed, he nodded. Spoke’s smile only seemed to grow wider
“Good, we’ll need one.”
Parrot left the room shortly after and called for a meeting, he needed Theo to gather the army they have. The moment Parrot arrived he paced in the council room, he knew Theo wouldn’t approve. And he was right, the moment Theo arrived he marched straight to Parrot and grabbed the front of his shirt.
“ARE YOU CRAZY!?” Theo yelled, his eyes wide. Parrot felt like something was clawing up his throat and choking him. Parrot took a deep breath and shut off his emotions, his expression went blank as he looked past Theo. He saw Wifies smiling at him, Wifies was smart. Smarter than him, so if he was smiling it meant he approved of his actions. Smart actions should be chosen over emotions, and this time, he won’t mess up and let his emotions cloud his judgement.
“I’m doing what needs to be done.” Parrot said coldly, a part of him wanted to apologize but the greater part pushed that part out, Theo could leave if he didn’t want to participate. Theo’s hands shook with barely concealed rage. It was obvious to Parrot that Theo wanted to punch him but he was holding himself back. Parrot was slightly thankful for that, it would hurt if he did. Parrot was pushed back when Theo shoved him, his eyes blazing with something Parrot couldn’t identify, he heard Theo mutter something but he couldn’t hear it. He watched as Theo flew away, Parrot felt his heart drop but he needed to do what's done. He turned around and went to get his army.
—-----------------------------------------------------------
Spoke’s pov-
Spoke watched as Parrot left, he knew he wouldn’t have joined if he knew what Spoke was really planning, but Parrot was too kind for that. Too soft to endure a massacre of innocent players. If worse came to worst, he’d take the blame of the villain. He didn’t mind being labeled the villain if it meant that Parrot could get away mostly unscathed. He was the reason Parrot was getting wrapped into this anyways. Spoke stared at nothing before looking into his inventory, the sword just sitting there staring back at him. People say that if you stare at the void long enough the void will stare back, I guess it's true.He tore his gaze away from the sword, he wouldn’t use it, not yet. Now then, he needed to make another item. He walked with a purpose this time. He grabbed shulkers of redstone materials and lastly a fishing rod. He ended up building up nearly to the height limit and made a platform. He peered down at the clouds and nodded. “This should be high enough.” He muttered to himself as he placed the shulkers down. He looked through the stuff, he was going to build something like an orbital strike cannon but different, he began placing block after block, redstone dust and receivers. By the time he was done the thing was huge. He walked around it double checking that everything was in place before sighing. The last piece. He looked at the command block in his inventory and placed it in the center. He got out the fishing rod and began messing with the command block to hook it to the fishing rod. If this worked, he’d be able to destroy chunks with a single pull. After a bit more messing around he nodded to himself, it should be working now, he should go check on Parrot, it had been a couple hours since they had last spoken and he wondered how he was dealing. The height limit should be something no one thinks about if they try to find it. He stashed the fishing rod in his inventory and began walking back to the castle. He didn't have much to think about, he knew one thing for sure- if this plan worked then over half of the servers population would be gone. After several minutes of walking Spoke drew near, he heard the sound of metal clanking against metal and voices talking amongst themselves. When he got close enough he heard Parrot's voice ring out through the crowd.
“Everyone! I just want to say this now, if at any point in the upcoming battle you're about to die, leave immediately if possible!” Spoke listened to Parrot's words and felt a chill seep into his bones, he shouldn’t have involved Parrot in this, he’s still thinking of others when he should be worried about himself. Parrot really is to kind for this stuff. Spoke shook off that thought, no, it had already been a few days so there was no going back. Even if a small part of him is starting to regret it. Their plan would start tomorrow, Parrot would get his army to invade a rising kingdom and slaughter them all, Parrot wouldn't directly participate but he had made several contingency plans just in case from what Spoke knows. Tomorrow everything would be over, and that thought felt more exhilarating than terrifying.
Spoke didn’t sleep that night, not when the moon rose high in the sky and the stars shone their light, not when the sun had risen up for all those to see. Not even in between preparation for the battle, because if he did he would dream of everyone he's wrong, he'd see every word that painted him like a bad person, and spoke wouldn't have been able to handle it. He had been in a sort of daze all day until Parrot had appeared in front of him, shaking him a bit. “Huh?” Spoke asked, snapping out of his thoughts, Parrot was looking at him with concern written on his face.
“Dude, you good?” Parrot asked, his voice full of genuine concern, Spoke nodded.
“Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?”
“It’s just that you've looked distant for the past couple of hours and I feel slightly worried.” Spoke stared at Parrot as he said that, Parrot had shifted uncomfortably under his gaze and he smiled.
“It's fine, don't worry about it.” Spokes' voice was unnaturally cheerful, maybe he was trying too hard. Even as he watched Parrot direct players to different locations he kept smiling, what else was there to do?
—-------------------------------------------------
Wemmbu’s pov-
Wemmbu had just been sitting around While Egg was writing in that book of his, Wemmbu didn’t even know what Egg was writing as he flopped over the other’s shoulder to look. From the looks of it, it just seemed to be random stuff, he recognized a few things like the recent war they fought in and lettuces imprisonment. Other than that everything else looked like gibberish. Egg didn’t seem to react much to Wemmbu laying on him which was decent, but that just meant Egg was too focused so Wemmbu couldn’t bother him. He stuck out his tongue and flopped backwards to his previous seating, he was soooo bored. The slow life is nice and all, hell, helping players was something he was going to enjoy. He even started to see why Parrot enjoyed helping others so much, yet nothing would be the adrenaline of a good fight. When your bloods pumpin’ and your mind is taking in more information than it can process, as exhausting as it is, it's a nice feeling. Just when he was relishing the imaginary feeling the door to their base was blown open. Wemmbu took out his mace on instinct and turned around ready to fight only to see Theo there. His face turned into one of a deadpan, what the hell is this guy doing. Wemmbu unequips his mace and puts a hand on his hip, he can vaguely feel eggs' presence beside him as he looks at Theo waiting for an explanation.
“You have to help, quickly!” Theo said, his breaths coming in short gasps, Wemmbu and Egg looked at each other for a moment.
“Help with what?” Wemmbu couldn't deny that he was curious, what reason could Parrot possibly have to send Theo to his base and not come himself or with Theo, the two were damn near inseparable.
“Parrot and Spoke are going to massacre thousands of players!” Wemmbu started at Theo like he had grown a second head, was this some sort of elaborate joke? Wemmbu and Egg turned towards each other with equally confused expressions. Wemmbu pointed to himself while his face morphed into confusion, Egg only shrugged his shoulders looking equally bewildered.
“Is this some sort of joke, Parrot is the last person who’d just start murdering people and spoke isn’t really that type of player either.” Wemmbu said, suspension now taking an edge in his tone.
“Yeah, what Wemmbu said.” He heard Egg say beside him. Wemmbu stared with an eyebrow raised.
“He isn’t but over the past couple of days he’s been gathering his army and sending them to newer empires.” Theo seemed much more calmed down but his tone was still panicked. Wemmbu wanted to write it off as a dumb joke but something was telling him based on Theo’s reaction that he wasn't lying. A cold feeling settled in his chest as he thought about it, Parrot’s new army was around 3,000+ people. He definitely had to find flame for this.
—-------------------------------------------
Flame’s pov-
Flame was sitting with one of his dogs while Lomedy was reading a book, Archanid or whatever the guy's name was hadn;t shown up in a bit so his life had been pretty peaceful. He even started farming with Lomedy again although he will never admit that it's grown to be a hobby he enjoys. Everything was going pretty well until he saw a flash of purple land in his base. His face scrunched up slightly in mock irritation, what is this chungus doing here bro. He was about to make a smart remark but paused when he saw Wemmbu’s slightly disturbed expression.
“Yo, uh, we got to go. Like now.” Wemmbu said, quickly grabbing Flames arm to drag him up. Flame planted his feet firmly on the ground forcing Wemmbu to stop.
“Bro what's going on, where do we need to go??” Flame was confused but Wemmbu only dragged his hands down his face groaning.
“No time to explain, I'll tell you on the way there!” Wemmbu said more forcefully, Flame let himself get dragged away this time, not before shooting a look to Lomedy who looked confused. The moment they got outside Wemmbu outstretched his wings and grabbed Flame by the arms.
“What the-” Was all he had the chance to say before he was lifted into the air, his brain did a minor short circuit before he realized Wemmbu had picked him up to fly him to somewhere. “AYE!? Let me down!” Flame yelled, though his voice was mostly lost due to the air howling around them.
“Bro stop flailing before I drop you.” Wemmbu said with a deadpan, that got Flame to stop struggling but he was still confused.
“Bro tell me what's happening, you haven't explained anything.” Flame huffed, sounding irritated. He just wanted a slow day, maybe do some farming with Lomedy and stuff.
“Right, basically Parrot and SPoke are going to massacre a bunch of players and we need to stop them” Wemmbu said, his tone was too casual for his words. Flame looked at him in disbelief, initially he wanted to say it was a joke, Parrot and Spoke? Those guys definitely weren't the type to do something like that. Yet he was forced to believe it, it wasn't because of some obscure reason, it was because Wemmbu would NEVER pick him up and fly somewhere if it wasn't. Flame didn’t even know what to say, this situation sounded like such bull but so real at the same time. “Oh yeah, don’t worry about Lomedy being alone, Egg will stay with him and stuff until we get back.” Flame nodded slightly, that’s one good thing at least. The Flight was a little long but when they arrived there were several thousand players geared in diamond armour. Wemmbu dropped Flame onto the wall without a second thought and landed beside him. Flame muttered something under his breath to which Wemmbu shot him a look- he ignored it.
“Bro I'm not even properly geared up to fight.” Flame complained looking through his inventory.
“Do you have stuff in your ender-chest?”
“Obviosuly, what kind of question is that.”
“Then gear up idiot.”
Flame had to resist the urge to punch Wemmbu, he silently mocked him before looking through all his ender-chest and grabbing needed items. The moment Flame was geared up he heard Wemmbu laugh a little, his mace hanging off his shoulder. Flame smiled to himself and took out his sword Fragger.
“What’s the plan?” Flame said, stretching his limbs a bit.
“Win obviously.” Wemmbu said with a cocky smirk. He flew into the crowd of people, mace in hand. Flame of course followed not even a second later.

Combined pov-
The raging roars of battle could be heard, the sound of swords clashing against swords, TNT rained from the sky in a giant circle blowing everything and people up with it. Wemmbu continued to crush skulls while Flame cut down people left and right. Surprisingly the numbers dwindled a lot faster than expected, it seemed to be that some players were fleeing from the battle but neither minded much since it made their jobs easier. The battle continued on for what felt like hours, Gambit was causing aches to settle into his muscles after every hit and wounds lined Flame/s arms. Though it clearly wasn’t affecting them much since they were smiling. Clearly they were bored enough to enjoy this fight. Every clash with a blade seemed to drag the fight on longer, every drop of a player reduced their numbers. Flame and Wemmbu fought until there wasn't a single person left to fight. Wemmbu and Flame looked around, “”Damn bruh, I didn’t see Parrot or Spoke the Entire time.” Wemmbu muttered to which Flame agreed. “Uhhh, you look for Spoke and I look for Parrot?” Wemmbu questioned.
“Yeah, let's meet back after finding them.” Flame suggested and Wemmbu agreed. Before parting they looked at each other for a moment before highfiving and going their separate ways.
Wemmbu looked for Parrot everywhere. He eventually landed in an open plains biome, he saw Parrot off to the side using his chat to msg spoke he assumed. He’s about to make this guy regret every decision he’s made in the last few days, using a windcharge he launched himself up and swung his mace behind him, unfortunately Parrot had heard the windcharge and turned around at the last second making sure to dodge. Wemmbu didn’t give it up though, he switched to his sword and began attacking Parrot relentlessly, the avian could barely hold his own, occasionally getting a few stab wounds here and there. Parrot immediately pulled out a fishing rod and jumped back a few steps, letting his wings guide him away. Wemmbu was confused for a second but something told him to hold a totem the moment Parrot pulled that fishing rod, and his gut feeling would be proven right not even a second later since he was hit with a fucking arrow cannon! As the Arrows lodged themselves into his body Wembu could only think about how he was going to beat up this bird. “So much for being the smartest player.” Wemmbu mocked, the totem had popped instantly saving him from certain death. He punched out his arms and reclaimed Gambit, "how'd you even get the idea to massacre thousands of players?? You could have never thought of something like that on your own.” Parrot didn’t respond and only took out his bow, Though Parrot hadn't been looking him in the eyes so he knew that the guy at least felt a little guilty for his actions. Wemmbu decided to revise his plans, instead of beating Parrot half to death he was going to knock him out instead. Perfect idea, Wemmbu felt like a genius. Wemmbu launched at Parrot again, Gambit raised high as he prepared to potentially give Parrot a concussion. He slammed down but ended up missing, “Tch.” Why is this chungus so slippery bro, though he had to give it to him, at least Parrot was trying to fight back. The moment his feet touched the ground a mind numbing effect hit him, he stumbled back, his limbs growing heavy. Did he just hit him with a potion of sickness?? Bro this was so annoying. “Wasn’t your whole goal saving people?? What's with this sudden villain arc?” Though his words sounded playful Wemmbu was genuinely worried about Parrot, The avian’s eyes snapped to Wemmbu about the villain arc comment.
“I’m not-” He nearly said before shutting up. He lowered his bow a bit and looked down. “I’m doing what's best for the server.” He protested, his voice raising louder than before. A hint of desperation laced into his tone and Wemmbu paused. Parrot isn’t a fighter, maybe the best way to get it through his skull is with words. With a sigh, Wemmbu puts Gambit back in his inventory and walks closer to Parrot, Parrot looks up confused. His confusion was short lived though when Wemmbu slapped Parrot causing his head to jerk to the side. He looked at Wemmbu even more bewildered now.
“Are you an idiot? In what world is massacring players okay, this goes entirely against your morals and you know it.”
“Even so- it's the only way I can make up for my stupidity!” Parrot exclaims trying to defend himself from Wemmbu’s words. Though Wemmbu only blankly stares at Parrot.
“Then what.”
“Huh?”
“What are you going to do after.”
“I’ll resign as king.”
“And get hunted down for the rest of your time on the server, yeah right buddy.”
“I’ll-”
“No.”
“No??”
“You heard me, whatever you were going to say, it was going to be wrong. You wanna know why? It's because the Parrot I know is so annoyingly intelligent it makes me want to mace him. The Parrot I know was always ready to lay down his life for the things he believed in. And the Parrot in front of me is nothing like that.”
Wemmbu’s words were harsh but they seemed to bring a much needed reminder to Parrot. As much as Wemmbu would love to keep it peaceful, he needed to get back at Parrot for all the trouble he’s caused over the past couple of days. So, when Parrot least expected it he grabbed Gambit from his inventory and swung it straight into the boy's head knocking him out. Parrot hit the floor with a thud, Wemmbu nodded in satisfaction and began dragging Parrot by the claw? foot? talon? Whatever it was.

Flame felt like he had genuinely searched everywhere at this point. Bro when Flame gets his hands on Spoke he's going to wring that troublemaker's neck dry. Flame walked with his hands behind his head, he was feeling rather bored now, especially after not finding Spoke.
This chungus bro, he sighed heavily. It was just empty terrain for miles upon miles, as he walked though he sensed something. Maybe it was his experience from Wemmbu's orbital cannons; he immediately moved back several spaces. It was a good thing that he did because the next second the entire chunk was gone. Flame was actually shocked, “that’s definitely dangerous.” He mutters to himself as his face sours. There’s only one person who can do something like that. Spoke. He looked around and spotted the voidling darting between trees. Flame chased after him though it was much easier said than done since he had to avoid literal CHUNKS disappearing the moment he stepped into the area. Spoke didn’t say anything, and only went for the offense. Spoke tried to land a hit on Flame with his creepy ah new trident but Flame managed to block, he felt his arms go numb just from blocking the thing so he kicked him back. Flame and Spoke clashed a few more times, and just when Flame was about to get the jump on Spoke, the chunk under his feet disappeared. “OH-” Flame yelled in surprise immediately ender pearling into a small crevice in the wall. Flame put a hand on his knee and grabbed a golden apple from his inventory, he bit into the apple feeling its metallic flavour wash over his tongue and restore his energy slightly. Flame pearled to the side of the wall and clutched with a black, he did this several more times before he finally reached the top. When he did though Spoke’s trident swung at him, he ducked his head and saw the head touch a blade of grass causing it to disintegrate. Flame’s face fell, that weapon is cheating. Flame immediately launched into offensive and used his sword to swipe at an open slot in between Spoke armour. Spoke stumbled, which Flame took as an opportunity to grab his hand and twist it. A sharp gasp of pain left his lips. The trident fell out of spokes hands and into the void. Spoke cursed but this fight was dragging on a little too long and he needed to meet up with Wemmbu. Left with no other choice he karate chopped him in the neck, Spokes body instantly going limp.
Soon after their fight Spoke woke up to Flame holding him, he tried to fight back at first but it was proving to be really useless against flame. Flame was holding Spoke by the scruff of his shirt, kind of like how a cat would do a kitten. The action kind of reminded Flame of Mane and him when they were younger. The thought made him smile as he saw how irritated Spoke looked. He had stopped trying to fight against it since Flame was much stronger physically. Spoke had grumbled about something but Flame didn’t care.
“Be lucky I didn’t knock you out bro.” Flame said, shaking Spoke a bit, though it had gotten Spoke to shut up. The walk was rather silent until Spoke had decided to speak again.
“Why even go through all this trouble in the first place?”
Flame hummed, “Bro cause, I know you’re not a bad person bro.” Flame said, though his voice sounded gruff and uncaring. Spoke looked up at him surprised and Flame turned away, the tips of his ears turning a little red. Spoke couldn’t help but laugh a little, Flame punched him for that but Spoke only laughed more.
—-------------------------------------------------------
Parrot and Spoke were sitting on the ground, their heads low, they were sitting shoulder to shoulder. Wemmbu and Flame were standing in front of them with their arms crossed. Spoke and parrot glanced at each other, honestly despite everything they couldn’t help the small smile that formed on their face, they were truly glad Wemmbu and Flame stopped them before they could do anything drastic. Because the two were right, this whole plan was so stupid, they couldn’t believe they were actually going to go through with it. Wemmbu and flame whispered something to each other and nodded after coming to an agreement. Of course Wemmbu and Flame decided to help the other two, they knew what it was like to be labeled as a criminal and kill players without mercy, they were in that dark space so they knew what it was like. But they had people to drag them out of that place, they got to experience normalcy and a peaceful ish life. They had to drag those out before they entered, and maybe just maybe, they’d stick around a little longer to make sure the duo don't spiral into anything darker.
“Me and Flame decided that your punishment is to fix whatever mess you made so far, and tw-...four random acts of kindness.” Wemmbu tried to sound confident in his words but he couldn’t help the smile forming on his face, Flame smacked his hand against his face and dragged it down. That chungus bro, Flame thought but a small smile made its way onto his face. Parrot and Spoke looked surprised, it seemed as though they were expecting something much more harsh but Spoke wouldn;t complain about an easy task. Parrot Seemed much more hesitant so Spoke elbowed him in the side shaking his head. Spoke smiled at Parrot and Parrot smiled back.
“Okay bro, you two get up now. You look like a bunch of chunguses.” Flame jokes and the others roll their eyes, Spoke and Parrot get up, dusting off their clothes. Parrot looked a little hesitant before looking at the ground.
“‘I’m uh…I’d like to apologize to all of you, because of me you were all indirectly affected.” Parrot awaited their words but Wemmbu only scoffed, he hit Parrot on the back nearly causing him to stumble.
“We already said it's okay dumbass. And if anyone should be apologizing it should be Spoke.”
“HEY!” Spoke yelled in retaliation, he chased Wemmbu around as Wemmbu stuck out his tongue at the voidling. Flame and Parrot watched the two laughing.
—----------------------------------------------
Flame, Wemmbu, and Spoke were waiting outside of the castle for Parrot. Flame and Wemmbu had gone to their respective bases to get some stuff and talk to their friends Egg and Lomedy while Spoke stayed with Parrot. It was finally time to fix their mistakes.
Parrot rushed out the doors of the castle, the heavy crown no longer weighing down his head. “Hurry up Parrot, we have a lot of stuff to fix.” Wemmbu remarked as Flame and Spoke were standing off to the side of Wemmbu, waiting for Parrot. Parrot smiled brightly and quickly ran to where they were standing.
“Yeah yeah I'm coming!”
