Shota hated the rain. Outside was raining heavily...And he had to overlook an abandoned kitten while on his way to the school. Shota already hated the day from the start.
He entered the classroom and wondered where these kids get this much energy in the literal morning. He waited 3 seconds for the class to get silent, there was improvement but it still could've been better. He took his seat at the teachers desk.
"Goodmorning Aizawa-sensei!" The class called out to him with the energy he desired to have. He sighed,
"morning, you should react faster, work on that." He kept his neutral tone while the class grumbled in union. Something felt different about the class but he couldn't pin point it. He sat down, ready to take attendance.
That's when it hit him, the problem child was absent. "Does any of you have any idea why problem child is not here?"
Midoriya doesn't ever miss classes so if he's sick he probably told his friends. "No sensei, he didn't tell us anything." Iida spoke up. Weird
"Thank you Iida, might as well mark him absent then." Right at that moment the classroom door opened and everyone looked that way.
"I'm so so sorry I'm late!" The problem child never runs late.
"Why are you late?" It sounded more like general curiosity rather than a scolding.
"I'm so sorry, but I just couldn't abandon it there." "What are y-" Midoriya revealed the kitten he's been holding on his arms to keep warm.The class makes various sounds of cuteness seeing the cute little creature.
"It was cold and wet I needed to do something." He looks at his teacher with glowing eyes. This moment reminds Shota some pleasent memories.
Sushi, how Shirakumo died. Shota blockes the uneasiness off, it is not the time for it. Though he suddenly felt even more tired.
"Well, what will you do with the cat?" Midoriya who already is in his seat by now looks at shota,
"oh-erm, I could try to find a home for it, or bring it go a shelter maybe."
"WHY DON'T WE DO IT OUR CLASS PET!!" Mina stood up and shouted to nobody in particular. Most of the class especially the girls agreed right away.
Iida being the class rep he is stood up from his seat and asked. "Wait, sensei is that allowed?"
"There's no rules denying it." Shota said and continued " But, all of you must know the responsibilities and difficulties of taking care of an animal, who will take the blame when it does something wrong? Who will spend time with it? You need to make sure it's clean and healty, and there's the whole feeding it thing, it's good you want to help but you better consider these things before making the final desicion." Wow isn't it similar to the lecture he gave Shirakumo when he found that cat
"Wake me up when the final desicion is made, other than it, don't disturb me." Shota says to his class and falls to the ground with his yellow sleeping bag that no one has ever understood how it appears from nowhere.

"Sooo what do we name this little babyyy??" Mina says while poking the black and red eyed creature.
There's numerous suggestions like 'coal' 'itachi' 'shadow' seriously dude we already have dark shadow. And other classic things like that.
"Uhh...Koda-kun, does it want anything, like good or something?" Midoriya asks,
"no, it likes your jacket accually..." Koda's voice is barely above a whisper. Midoriya wraps the jacket more around the kitten when he heard that, he's happy that he could accually help the animal.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" Jiro asks pointig at it. "We need the gender if we're gonna choosa a name after all."
"Uhhh, wait let me check- yeah it's a boy" midoriya checks the gender of the baby. The cat is still scared from others so they don't disturb him much.
"Well what are we going to do with taking care thing, I know sensei sounds pretty grumpy but he's right, we should figure it out if we're going to keep him." Uraraka says, then the class starts to think about it.
"Hey, why don't we talk to principal Nezu and make him school's cat. Like y'know he hangs out at the outside or inside if he wants and stuff" Kaminari says to Bakugo's surprise even the broken clock's right twice a day huh.
"Wait that's accually genius! And we can still take care of the food and vet visits as a class!" Hagakure cheers from somewhere
"Well, it is decided then." Iida confirmed as the class rep
"What do we name him then, ribbit"
"The name shall reflect the darkness in his eyes" the cat was accually looking like a murderer, a baby one at that.
"The name must sparkle like our brightfull class!"
"What about making it some kind of wordplay, like something unique" jiro suggested
"Wait now that I think about it, he looks like Aizawa-sensei a lot." Kirishima added
"They can't have the same name, it would be confusing" Shoji said "but we can make it something similar"
"Hmmm- WHAT ABOUT ERASER-CAT!" Uraraka said after some thinking, "like eraser head but as a cat"
"Wait this could work, it's unique and fun at the same time." Yaomomo said
"Does anyone has any objections?" Iida asked
"Non, it fits." Aoyama said with dramatic movements
"There's no better name to mach the darkness he contains"
"Well fine then, welcome to UA eraser-cat" Midoriya says when the name is certain.

"Eraser-cat! Like you eraser head!" Mina explained exitedly holding the cat towards shota
"And, we will talk to principal Nezu about allowing him to go around the school" Yaomomo started to explain the details,
"We will still take care of financial axpenses." Iida took on the talking
"Fine, you can keep it, but really? That name?"
"Well, he kinda looks like you" Jiro shrugged
"Wow, that much effort for a damn cat?" Bakugo smirked, and the class (the problem child 1 and 2 and their friends trying to shut them up) started shouting at eachother for the rest of their time. Shota just facepalmed and returned to sleep trying to hide his pride in his students.

"THEY NAMED HIM WHA-" Yamada started coughing when shota used his quirk on him. "You will collapse the fucking building shut up."
"HAHAH OH- MY GOD AHAHAHA" Midnight doubled over laughing at the name while All Might tried not to laugh and covered his smirk with his hand "W-well that is rather a creative choice" he said while tittering
And from that day on the class A had a lovely class cat
