It was a cold Tuesday night in November, Charles and Henry had a tough mission with the toppat clan today and they were exhausted. After dinner (which was just take out) Charles and Henry were sitting in their shared bed together. Henry was watching Netflix on his phone and Charles was playing on their friend groups shared switch because it was his turn to have it and he had been waiting AGES. Henry took a big relaxed sigh and snuggled into Charles’s side. “What are you playing?” He signed while watching Charles play, “mm just some stupid game Konrad bought, I’m pretty good I think!” he said before putting his concentration back into the game. henry turned Charles and himself to move into a spooning position. He took a big inhale as he buried his face in the others hair, he smelt so good, his hair smelt faintly of the minion strawberry banana 3 in 1 Charles loved so much
After a few minutes of just watching Charles play, Henry wanted some much needed attention from Charles since he had almost died multiple times and Charles kisses and soft words always made him very relaxed, but he didn’t want to ask him directly because he was worried if Charles thought he was needy for asking. He started lightly tapping Charles’s hip, Charles didn’t notice. He tapped more, again he didn’t notice “..Charles?” Henry mumbled against his partners shoulder. “Hm? Oh, yea?” The pilot finally snapping back into reality after hearing the ex con’s mumbles .“Can..can we cuddle?” Henry pulled Charles in closer, he had one arm wrapped around his upper torso and the other wrapped around his abdomen aswell as one leg wrapped arounds his lovers leg.
“we basically are cuddling hen~”the pilot snickered affectionately as he stated pulling off his red headset and hanging them on the bedframe and put the switch on his bedside table. “no I mean like proper cuddling” henry signed, pressing a kiss against Charles’s cheek, the kind that left your cheek wet. “Henry!” Charles let out a laugh that sounded more like a squeak, that made Henry’s heart melt, so the ex con started leaving kisses all over his partners face, “right right I’m turning over!” Charles laughed even more as he turned face to face with Henry. they stared at each other for a moment before Charles wiping his lovers slobber off his face with his shirt and leaving and kiss on his partners cheek before cuddling close
Henry’s hands were quick to wrap around the others middle, he could smell the pilots deodorant and a mix of sweat. well today was a hot mission for them the remaining toppats had successfully broke their leader and every other member out of jail and they were back into the air with their new (and improved) airship..yay... unlucky for triple threat is that they were flying over a VERY hot area but luckily Henry, Ellie and Charles made it out alive. sadly Reginald, his right hand man and hundreds of toppats were still out loose but the trio had managed to detain some and hopefully get some answers to their whereabouts the next day.
Charles was running his fingers through Henry’s straight black hair, it was usually very soft and puffy definitely very different from his blonde curls, but at the moment henrys hair was quite greasy to the point it would stand straight up if his fingers were pulled out, most would find it disgusting but Charles found it adorable. He pressed a kiss to the ex con’s lips, he loved kissing Henry even if Henry could quickly dominate the kisses and then start kissing Charles’s face and giving him princess treatment and sometimes more if Charles asked.
“I-I’m gonna get a shower now, I don’t want to stink tomorrow~” Henry mutters into Charles ear making the other man shiver, “yea I’ll get in after you. Also it’s not like we are doing much tomorrow” yea they were both still at work tomorrow but probably going to spend the day trying to skive the whole day with their friend group in Charles helicopter or help with supplies…yea skiving sounds better.
Henry was already in the shower now, the warm water ran down his body as he thought about..well life I guess. How his life became way better by being kidnapped by the government, he still kinda held a grudge against that but galeforce did not give a fuck. Any way he did get to meet his best friend now boyfriend, get pardoned and get a job! And then get kidnapped by a prison in Russia even though he got pardoned! What a rip off! But then he did manage to escape with his other best friend Ellie rose who he met while waiting to be transferred and they broke the whole prison out. Then the three took down the toppats rockets few months ago and blam back to present.
Henry was now starting to get a bit lonely so he quickly scrubbed his body and hair then finished up, pulling a towel around his body to dry himself off. “you done Henry?” The pilot called from the other room “yea yea I’m done!” He shouted back as he walked out the bathroom and the cold of their shared apartment hit him. As he walked back into their room Charles looked up from the switch he was again playing on and gave Henry a warm smile before getting up and smooching him on the cheek them walking into the bathroom. Henry put some of the half empty deodorant he had on then put on some clean pyjamas which was usually just underwear and a shirt that would get discarded in the night because he always felt boiling when he slept. then he settled back into bed and yawned.
After a few more minutes of waiting the shower stopped and Charles stepped back into the room doing the same thing as Henry, putting on deodorant and pyjamas. his were usually a t-shirt, plaid pyjama pants and either a hoodie or a dressing gown. Charles always got really cold while sleeping so Henry was basically perfect to sleep with because he was like a heater. Charles slid into bed next to his lover, kissing him on the lips and wrapping his arms around him Henry did the same “love you~” Henry signed as he pressed a kiss again Charles forehead. “Love you more~” Charles snickered. “Impossible!” Henry signed back “nuh uh!~” Charles was just teasing him at this point. “Just shut up and go to bed” Henry sighed moving his arms to go back to cuddling the pilot “ok ok~ night hen~” “night~” Charles fell asleep first then henry followed.
