Dazzle shot up with a little yelp. The small deer had just woken up from a nightmare. She trembled as she held herself letting out small sobs and hics.
Her vision blurred with tears. The fear of faltering weighed heavily on the little deer. “It was a mistake..” she cried and pleaded.
“I’m sorry madam president..” she breathed out like it was a curse, like it hurt her to say. “I'll be better.. I'll be better!” the child begged
She paused as no answer came. She peaks out of her ball realizing no one was there. She uncurled around herself speaking into the quiet, “huh..?” she questions.
“I swore she was here..” dazzle mumbled. She pushed herself off the ground. “My legs feel like jell-o” she thinks as she stumbles into daycare lane.
Lunar's room wasn’t too far from Dazzle’s but it took her a bit, She kept tripping and falling. Lunar was dead asleep, snoring and drooling included, they weren't woken up by their door cracking open nor the footsteps that followed.
The deer stared at the lunar animatronic until she finally whispered, “lunar..” her voice was barely audible but it was enough to wake the other one up ‘lunar..” she spoke softly, scared for even herself to hear.
Xe groggily opened his eyes with a groan “Dazzle..?” he asked “What’s up buddy” it added on as they sat up noticing dazzle’s distress. Dazzles struggled to say anything
Lunar's eyes softened as he watched the deer crumble.They awkwardly open xyr arms for the deer which she instantly collapsed into.
“There there..?” he spoke awkwardly as he closed his arms embracing the deer. “What's wrong, dazzle?” xe asked while slowly stroking the deer's head “nightmare..” she whimpers pathetically kinda like a sad puppy
“Was it about comedy bot again?” it asked hesitantly. Dazzle looks up at him before shaking her head “do you wanna talk about it?” Lunar asked to get another head shake. “No..” she whispers. “Okkay..” they thought for a moment.
“Want a distraction?” xe asked. That peaked the deer's interest, “yeah..” she says softly “okay.” he replies softly
Lunar turned on some random children as the deer laid comfortably in his lap. Eventually drifting back into a more peaceful sleep. Lunar on the other hand stayed up later to make sure the deer didn't awake again
