Chapter Text
It was sometime around midnight and Perry would normally be sleeping, but a few seconds ago Candace's phone rang and now she's talking with whoever's on it, and seemingly getting more freaked out.
Perry tried to listen, but the Flynn-Fletcher household walls were thick, none of the other residents could even hear Candace at all most likely, Perry was just more sensitive to sound then most due to being a secret agent.
Candace eventually left her room still talking, Perry could make out who was on the other side of now, it was Vanessa, sounding the most freaked out Perry's probably ever heard.
Perry decided to follow Candace, who went downstairs and slowly started lifting her mom's car keys.
"DAD!" Vanessa scream came from Candace's phone.
This sent Perry into action, he took the keys from Candace.
'Where are they?' He signed.
"Oh hey uncle Perry… where are who?"
Perry pointed to Candace's phone getting the point across.
"Oh, where are who I'm talking to, it's Vanessa by the way, and I'm not sure where, just somewhere between her dad's house and here."
That was enough information for Perry to head to Linda's van, Candace following behind.
"Wait! You don't even know where Vanessa's dad lives, I'll go with you." Candace reasoned as she hopped in the passanger seat.
Perry had a feeling there was no time for arguing with Candace, instead just pulling out of the garage as fast as the station wagon would take them.
"UNCLE PERRY YOU'RE DRIVING TO FAST, I WON'T BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU DIRECTIONS!!!!"
Perry didn't need directions though, he knew the route like the back of his hand, or better then the back of his hand since the agent didn't spend much time memorizing the back of his hand until he could traverse it in his sleep.
The car came to a quick stop when he spotted Vanessa, Doctor D, and Norm's head on the sidewalk, all three looking worse for wear, with Doof out cold on the pavement.
The two Flynn-Fletchers exited the car.
"Candace, thank god you found-" Vanessa's sentence was cut short when she saw the familiar teal haired man, "Perry?"
Perry gave her a quick wave before rushing over, checking her for any major injuries.
"I'm fine Perry, dad's not though, he just collapsed all of a sudden."
Perry went over to Doofenshmirtz as Vanessa picked Norm up off the ground from where Doof presumably dropped him.
Candace ushered Vanessa over to the car and into the back seat, climbing in beside her, and Perry picks up Doof, putting him in the passenger seat before heading to the drivers.
As he drives back to the Flynn-Fletcher household he notices that they're being followed.
Once getting into the garage Perry runs out of the car slamming his fist into the wall which opens a secret compartment, he presses a button causing the house to enter lockdown mode.
"What the? I didn't even know that was there, you have a lot of explaining to do uncle Perry."
"Perry's you're uncle?"
"Yeah, how do you know him? I don't think he's been home when you've been over."
"He… works with my dad."
"Wait, is your dad the co-worker he keeps telling us stories about." A mischievous grin speads across Candace's face.
Meanwhile, Perry has taken Doof to the living room patching him up, deciding he probably collapsed due to bloodloss.
He tries to think of ways to explain this to his family, especially Candace who's already somewhat found out about his double life.
Eventually Candace and Vanessa (holding what's left of Norm) head into the living room as well.
"Ok it's time for you to explain how do you know them."
'I fight doctor d'
"And why are you fighting a pharmacist."
"Oh my dad's not a pharmacist he's an evil scientist."
"Great we have an evil scientist in our house, just wonderful, what's with the robot head though?"
'My son."
"Perry is my mom!"
"Ok if anything that only gives me more questions."
After a long time of explaining and some complaining from Candace everyone who was awake at the late or perhaps early hour fell asleep on the couch.
after an hour or two of sleep Perry awoke again due to Heinz shifting beside him.
Heinz talked so quietly that Perry almost couldn't hear him, "Where am I?"
