"Do as you please." Griffith said. Corkus saw the legendary outlaw himself 'Black-Swordsman' walking with a bag of gold coins after fighting Bazuso and he could've almost lost his head if Bazuso's axe hadn't been cracked. But it's a good thing it was cracked! Corkus thought that he deserves those gold coins and Guts shouldn't have them. So he got his friends and they agreed to share the coins if they are able to rob him. He and them asked for Griffith's approval and he said yes. Casca warned them that they will die if they mess with a skilled mercenary, but Corkus didn't listen. Him and his friends were going to rob Guts.
Guts was just walking on some grass just minding his own business with his prize. But then a group of mercenaries on horses were lunging towards him with they're swords out. Guts knew that they were going to attack him. So he took out his headphones that he got as a gift from his mom, Shisu, on his birthday, and turned on one of his favorite songs by ELO, Mr. Blue Sky. This song made him feel like he didn't need to worry about anything.
Corkus while on his horse noticed this and thought "Is he turning on music?" He was confused. Who would turn on music in a middle of a fight.

Guts then went forward, and lunged at one of the bandits, slaying him with his sword. He then went to the other bandit and cutted him up with his sword.
"Dear god! This guy's too damn powerful!" Said Corkus. He was now regretting his choice to rob Guts.
"Look what that guy did to Dan & Earl!" Said a mercenary.

Guts continued to kill more of the bandits while listening to the happy song. He was humming to the song like a little child.

Griffith then realized that he was losing a lot of men. So he told Casca to go and help them.
Guts looked at Corkus and decided to attack him. Corkus was terrified. He didn't know what to do. He definitely wouldn't be able to block his sword onto Guts' sword. It would break.
Hey you with the pretty face
As Guts was about to attack Corkus, an arrow hitted his headphones off of his head. He was pissed off now. He checked to see if his headphones were broken and thankfully they weren't. The person who was responsible for hitting them off was Casca. "You know, you should really pay attention to the fight instead of listening to those ear plugs." She said. Guts had enough. He wanted a fight. Unfortunately, he lost. But that is a story for another day.
