Prologue: After Takahashi's Final Chaotic Page
The official Ranma ½ manga ends in the middle of absolute chaos.
The wedding rehearsal between Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo collapses into madness.
Mallets fly.
Chuís smash.
Spatulas blaze through the air.
The Tendo Dojo is nearly destroyed.
Guests scatter everywhere.
And the final caption asks one question:
“Will Ranma ever find peace?”
But what if the story didn't end there?
What if the chaos was only the beginning?
Chapter 1: Midnight Truth – The Resolve
Nerima Streets – Midnight
Under the cold moonlight, Ranma Saotome paced the empty lot behind Furinkan High School.
His pigtail hung loosely as frustration filled his voice.
He punched the air while whispering to the silent night.
Ranma:
"It was a close call today… thank God Ukyo and Shampoo showed up."
He stopped walking and looked up at the stars.
Ranma:
"But I can't keep doing this forever. I can't keep running."
His fists tightened.
Ranma:
"I have to fix everything… before it's too late."
A deep breath escaped him.
Ranma:
"I have to tell Shampoo, Akane, and Ukyo how I really feel."
His voice lowered.
Ranma:
"Even if they hate me for it… I'm ready to risk everything."
He closed his eyes.
Ranma:
"It's now or never."
Hidden Witness
High in the trees nearby, an old woman sat silently.
It was Cologne.
Her ancient eyes widened in surprise.
Cologne:
"So the son-in-law loves all three of them…"
She smiled slowly.
Cologne:
"That explains everything."
Her staff tapped softly on the branch.
Cologne:
"That is why he never chose one… and why he never rejected any of his three fiancées."
The old Amazon elder chuckled quietly.
Cologne:
"This will be interesting."
Then she vanished into the night.
Morning Chase – But Something Is Different
The next morning in Nerima exploded into the usual chaos.
Shampoo leapt across rooftops with her spinning chui.
Shampoo:
"AIREN! Morning kiss must have now!"
Behind them, Akane Tendo smashed her mallet into the pavement.
Akane:
"RANMA! We're going to be late for school! MOVE IT!"
Ranma ran ahead—but strangely, he was smiling.
From a nearby alley, Ukyo Kuonji appeared.
Her giant spatula swung through the air.
WHACK!
Ranma’s head was smashed straight into a bush.
Shampoo:
"Aiya! Spatula girl trying to steal Airen?!"
Ukyo:
"Ran-chan is mine! Back off!"
Akane stormed toward the school entrance, jealousy written all over her face.
Ranma suddenly popped out of the bush, covered in leaves and dust.
But he was smiling.
A serious smile.
Ranma:
"AKANE! WAIT!"
Akane turned angrily.
Akane:
"What now, you pervert?!"
Ranma looked at all three of them.
His voice became firm.
Ranma:
"Listen. Tomorrow… I want you three to meet me at the park."
The girls blinked.
Confused.
Ranma continued.
Ranma:
"Ukyo, bring everyone from school."
"Shampoo, bring your great-grandmother."
"Akane… bring everyone from the Tendo family."
He took a deep breath.
Ranma:
"Bring everyone."
Then he turned and started running toward school again.
Ranma:
"Tomorrow… I'll tell the truth."
The three girls froze.
Their brains struggling to process what they had just heard.
Akane / Shampoo / Ukyo (thinking):
"What truth…?"
Chapter 2: Sleepless Confessions
Furinkan High – Tension City
The classroom buzzed with whispers.
Akane and Ukyo kept secretly glancing at Ranma.
Their lips silently forming the same question.
"What did he mean?"
The school bell rang.
Class ended.
Ukyo immediately grabbed Ranma.
Ukyo:
"Tell us NOW, Ran-chan!"
Ranma only grinned like a wolf.
Ranma:
"Have patience."
Cat Café Disaster
At the Cat Café, Shampoo was completely distracted.
Plates slipped.
Cups fell.
Food nearly crashed everywhere.
Finally, Cologne entered calmly.
Cologne:
"Shampoo, child… it's alright."
Shampoo rushed to her.
Shampoo:
"Great-grandmother! Do you know what Airen planning?!"
Cologne only smiled.
Cologne:
"Patience, child."
Sunset Visits – Truth for Each Heart
Ucchan’s Okonomiyaki
Ukyo scrubbed the counters alone.
Suddenly—
Arms wrapped around her waist.
Ukyo nearly exploded from shock.
Ukyo:
"W-WHAT?! Ran-chan?! What are you doing?!"
Ranma leaned closer and whispered softly into her ear.
Ranma:
"Ucchan… don't worry."
"I ain't leaving you."
"I remember our vows."
"Our childhood."
"And all those okonomiyaki we shared."
Ukyo froze completely.
Ranma:
"Tomorrow… I'll prove it."
He kissed her gently on the forehead—
Then jumped away onto the rooftops.
Ukyo stood there stunned.
Then suddenly started jumping around the restaurant in excitement.
Ukyo:
"Ran-chan remembers our vows?!"
"He loves me?!"
Cat Café – 9 PM
Shampoo locked the café doors.
Suddenly—
THUD
Ranma landed behind her.
Before Shampoo could jump him—
Ranma:
"Shampoo… listen."
She turned, smiling brightly.
Shampoo:
"What is it, Airen?"
Ranma gently held her shoulders.
For once…
He wasn't running away.
His eyes were soft.
Ranma:
"Shampoo… I know behind that smile… you're hurting."
"You chased me for so long."
"You endured the tribe's pressure."
"And I hurt you more times than I can count."
His voice softened.
Ranma:
"I'm sorry."
He pulled her into a hug.
Ranma:
"You don't have to prove your love anymore."
"I already know."
Shampoo broke down instantly.
The proud Amazon warrior cried like a child.
Shampoo:
"Airen sees everything Shampoo hides…"
"The tribe pressure…"
"And how scared Shampoo is of losing Ranma…"
Through tears she asked:
Shampoo:
"Then why always run from Shampoo's kisses?"
Ranma stroked her hair gently.
Ranma:
"Because I was afraid…"
"Afraid I might tell the truth."
"But tomorrow…"
He smiled.
Ranma:
"I'll tell everything."
Then he leapt away across the rooftops.
Shampoo watched the moon happily.
Shampoo:
"Good night, Airen…"
From the shadows, Cologne watched quietly.
Cologne:
"Tomorrow will decide everything."
"Ranma will either gain his treasure…"
"Or lose everything."
Tendo Dojo – Night
Akane paced the hallway.
Akane:
"Kasumi, do you know where Ranma is?"
Kasumi Tendo smiled gently.
Kasumi:
"No, Akane. Wasn't he with you?"
Akane frowned.
Akane:
"He told me to go home… then disappeared."
Nearby, Nabiki Tendo smirked.
Nabiki:
"Last time I saw him… he was sneaking around the Cat Café."
Akane's face turned red with anger.
Akane:
"THAT IDIOT went to see Shampoo?!"
Suddenly—
A voice appeared behind her.
Ranma:
"What? Missed me, macho girl?"
Akane spun and threw a punch.
Ranma caught it easily.
He looked serious.
Ranma:
"It's okay, Akane."
"Tomorrow… I'll fix everything."
"I don't know what you feel about me."
"But tomorrow… I'll find out."
Then he jumped away.
Leaving Akane completely stunned.
Sleepless Night
Three different rooms.
Three different girls staring at mirrors.
Three different hearts beating fast.
That night…
None of them slept.
Across Nerima, three voices whispered at the same moment.
Shampoo:
"Airen…"
Ukyo:
"Ran-chan…"
Akane:
"Ranma…"
Tomorrow…
Everything would change.
