Stop talking. Just stop annoying her at this point. She's not gonna say yes to you, Zira. Literally nothing special about you..
Stop trying to bother Aika on such a peaceful, beautiful day where you're both hanging out.
“Uh.. uh– Aika?”
Shockingly, Aika didn't look at her with the all-the-way irritated face she was expecting. Just that same, soft look.
The look that Zira’s grown to love.
The look that she falls for time and time again.
“Yes?”
Try again.
No, wait. Stop trying.
“I.. I just uh.. I was you…. You– I… Uh…”
Zira sounds desperate and stupid.
She fidgeted with the small piece of paper she was hiding behind her back. She could barely muster up the courage to do this.
Why did she attempt this?
Maybe it was out of a sudden burst of confidence, but Zira felt so dumb.
“Zira, you keep trying to ask me stuff and then saying ‘never mind’ at the last second. I’m getting like, kindaa worried.”
They're making Aika worry.
This is horrible.
Just spit it out.
“Uh.. Uh… Uh… Uh… Willyougotohomecomingwithme? Youdon’thavetogoifyoudon’twanttoIjustthoughtwecouldgo…. As friends.”
Zira blurted.
This is horrible. They're gonna die.
Can’t Aika just kill them already?
“Zira, why didn't you just ask before? Of course I’ll go with you!”
“I knew you'd— Wait whuh?”
Woah.
Zira didn't expect her to actually say yes.
“Yeah! I was hoping to go with you, actually! Ooh, wait, wait! We can go dress shopping! Jewelry shopping, all that other stuff! Eee! I’m so excited! Thank you so much for asking! I’m so glad we're friends!”
Zira slumped over,
“Y– yeah. You're welcome.”
