Jecra was sitting on his bed, leaning back against the wall. He looked over and noticed Meta Knight, who just got back from changing into more comfortable clothing. Meta Knight took his mask off and sat right in front of jecra, leaning against him. Jecra kissed his head before stroking his hair.
Meta Knight smiled, Jecra smiling with him, he loved Meta Knight's smile.
“You know, Meta… Today is our five year anniversary.” Jecra said as he continued to stroke Meta Knight's hair. “Yes, yes it is.” Meta Knight responded. “Why do you point that out? We don't typically do much on our anniversary?” Jecra chuckled in response to Meta Knight's statement.
“Yeah you're right… but… five years is a long time, bright eyes. I figured I would do something special considering we've been dating for so long.” Jecra got off the bed after he said that. “Hold on, let me go grab something.” Meta Knight chuckled. “Oh alright…”
After Jecra came back, he told Meta Knight to close his eyes. Meta Knight sat at the edge of the bed and closed his eyes. Jecra went in front of him. “Ok, you can open them.” Meta Knight opened his eyes, in front of him was jecra on one knee. “Jecra… What are you doing?”
“Meta Knight, I.. love you so much. And I've been thinking…” after his fond words, he slowly pulled out matching masks. It made for both of them. Meta Knights eyes widened, a surge of emotion rushing over him. His mind raced, asking himself many questions in his head. *Is this what I think it is? Is he really going to propose?* Tears overcame Meta Knight's eyes as Jecra cleared his throat, speaking up. “Meta… will you spend the rest of your life with me? Fighting by my side?”
Meta Knight broke, starting to cry as emotion took over. “Yes!” He said before jumping into Jecra's arms, causing them both to fall on the floor. Jecra smiled warmly, unable to find the tears in this moment of happiness. He put the mask on Meta Knights face tenderly “It fits..” He said before pulling the mask of Meta Knight and kissing him.
Meta Knight sniffled before saying “I love you Jecra…”
“I love you too, bright eyes…”
