"Wish you could be here."
"No offence Red," Player said. "But I'm quite happy here in my cave."
"Like a vampire." Carmen remarked with a chuckle.
"Excuse you," Player said, faking offence. "I'll have you know I'm a highly caffeinated gremlin, not a vampire. Those guys can't even use tech, let alone match my skill."
That got a laugh out of his best friend.
"My apologies, oh great gremlin. Also, why does it sound like you're talking from experience?"
"Maybe I am."
They both laughed at that. Wow, they must have been sleep deprived.
"I know you want to keep sight seeing, but I'm exhausted, and I know for a fact that it's been even longer since you slept."
"I didn't escape V.I.L.E. to sleep, I escaped V.I.L.E. to finally see the world." Red said
"And save the world, and protect people from V.I.L.E. you can't do that if you're so sleep deprived it's a miracle you're standing up. Go to bed. I'll make sure you have plenty of time for sightseeing tomorrow, okay?"
"Fine." She mumbled begrudgingly.
"Good." Player said now I'll call you a car to your hotel.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Call or text me when you get there."
"Okay, bye"
"Bye," he said and hung up
Player found his pajamas, put them on, brushed his teeth, and drank some water.
He climbed into bed and checked his texts with red.
Carmen 🐑🔴: I'm back at the hotel

Carmen 🐑🔴: the bed feels like a cloud you are amazing for booking me this room
Player: don't sleep with your hair extensions in, you'll get a headache
Carmen 🐑🔴: Don't tell me what to do :P
Player: good night 🌙
Carmen 🐑🔴: good night!
Player put his phone down and was asleep within minutes of his head hitting the pillow.
