No.. please. dont do it.
Kai.
what would kai think of you.
Lloyd stole a glance at his dresser drawer across the room before fiddling with a few stands of his hair. It was dusty blonde, with a few strokes of brown and black. Lloyd had been dying it for a few years, he assumed the new streaks of black came from Morro's posession, due to never experiencing it before then. He missed being the perfect golden ninja. He missed when everyone actually treated him like a child. Lloyd was turning 18 soon and only had a few months left of his solemn life as a minor until adulthood. "If I even make it...", he thought to himself, accidentally ripping a strand of his hair out. Lloyd didn't feel much pain anymore, he was spacy. Kai would often find him dissociating in his room, even going as far as talking to himself.
Slowly, Lloyd lifted the sleeves of his green gi, revealing many cuts and scrapes from previous battles, including ones with himself. His arms were dirty, but not in the sense that they were covered in grime. Scars lined his writs and hands, slowly curving down to his forearm. The green ninja stood up and walked toward his mirror. He had big eye bags and his suit was covered in dried blood with little stains around the sleeves and legs. His locks were unkempt and were growing long, but Lloyd hadn't been to a barber in years, let alone a hospital. Lloyd stared into his own emerald eyes, the shine slowly fading out of them.
"get a fucking grip." He whispered into the empty bedroom.
Attempting to walk, he stumbled and tripped on his own feet. Lloyd rolled his sleeves back down and quietly opened his door. The hallway was quiet, as it usually was for a sunday night. he waddled into the bathroom, making sure to be light on his feet. He carefully and slowly locked the door. He fell over, leaning onto the ledge of the bathtub.
Tears began to pool in Lloyd's eyes as he fell off the tub and onto the ground. He wrapped his arms around his head as he cried, getting louder with every sob. Lloyd stayed on the floor shaking for a while before he heard a soft knocking.
"Lloyd? It's me. Kai. Please let me in.. im worried about you green bean."
"k-kai..? The crying ninja hicuped.
Lloyd thrusted himself up, clutching his side. He fumbled with the lock, his face and palms red and sweaty from tears.
The red ninja carefully opened the door, making sure not to startle his brother. Kai grabbed Lloyd and pulled him in, hugging him. It was finally warm, and Lloyd was finally safe. The pair stayed in that room for a few hours, Kai listening and braiding Lloyd's hair as he talked about all that was on his mind.
