"So that's how it is... Grapes, I'm disappointed."
The office chair squeaked as it turned, Agent Choi revealing himself. He sat with his legs crossed, his fingertips pressed together like some sort of mastermind.
Kim Soleum let out a groan as he turned to meet Agent Choi's gaze. The man shook his head as if disappointed.
"I thought the darkness within you had been extinguished, but I see that I failed to do my job..."
He stood from the chair, it rolling away as he stood and walked forward. His blade let out a hiss when the Agent released it from its holster. He pointed it at Kim Soleum and narrowed his eyes.
"Worry not, my junior, I won't let the darkness take you."
Kim Soleum tensed as he sprang forward. Despite his insufferable nature, there was no denying the Agent was proficient. He wouldn't have lived for as many numerous years as he had otherwise.
Kim Soleum dodged the descending blade as he saw the shine of something in the agent's hand
"Be not afraid, grapes! I will save you from that cult company!"
Before Kim Soleum could register what was happening, he had already been pulled into the glass marble. He could hear the agent's words loudly in his ears.
"You deceived us, Agent Grapes. To think you were a spy…"
The agent closed his eyes tearfully as he looked away.
Kim Soleum felt his sanity crumbling away inside him. He had told the man on many occasions that he was a spy. He opened his mouth in protest only to shut it closed. There was no point, Kim Soleum realized as the man continued on a great monologue he couldn't be bothered to listen to.
There was still a chance to save this situation. No one would believe Agent Choi, who muttered unintelligible words at every moment; everyone had already written off Kim Soleum’s words of being a spy as a pathetic plea to try to escape from his senior.
"Prison?"
J3's words echoed loudly in his ears as the marble fell to the floor, the agent turned his head to meet the man in front of him. Kim Soleum lunged for the agent as the marble shattered and released him.
He pinned the agent down by his neck. Kim Soleum regretted it immediately, listening to the man's god-awful words.
"Ugh... you have found my greatest weakness."
Kim Soleum let out an exasperated sigh when he felt a strong force to his side, making him stumble. The man had contorted his legs to strike him.
The agent squirmed away from Soleum's grasp and ran out the door, Kim Soleum chasing after him. At the very least, he couldn't let the man escape.
When Soleum pushed the door open, he was met by the sight of Agent Choi running out into the street, raising his hand to summon a taxi.
Suddenly, a car crashed into him, making the Agent fly over the windshield and land unceremoniously on the road below.
"That's one less problem, isn't that right, Soleum-nim?" Director Ho said as he rolled down the window to give the man an innocent smile.
Kim Soleum stood dumbfounded.
