It was the year 20XX, everything was going to shit and the representations of the countries just wanted a break from whatever their bosses were doing. They all knew any type of protest would get them fired so they just watched from the sidelines not being able to put much of their input anymore.
''Man ! this freakin sucks, I'm supposed to be the country of freedom !! I don't even get a say in anything and there's no way I can get rid of him or else I'll be in big trouble !! ugggghhh'' America vented to his twin brother, who held a cute bear. He listened to his brother's worries and then thought of something.
''If there's nothing we can do then.. how about we try to find something fun to do..? Kinda like a vacation of sorts, if your boss won't listen to you, I'm sure he won't notice if you're not there'' He didn't know what to say much because their bosses were completely different, he was able to give at least some input.. That last part he said, was him projecting too, he had always gone unnoticed by his peers.
''Wait, you're right ! I'm gunna go find something ! You just wait, ill gather up everyone too, once I do !''
''Well, okay ! I'll believe in you !''
The younger, ran out the house waving goodbye to his brother whilst laughing, that was something no one has seen in a while.

''MY FELLOW COUNTRIES !! I HAVE HELD THIS MEETING BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND SOMETHING TOTALLY RAD !!!''
Seems like he finally found something fun, Canada thought to himself. Though what confused him was the massive circular thing covered with a huge American flag, behind America.
''Seeing that this ''totally rad'' thing isn't here in the room with us, I think you're just here to waste our time'' Oh no, the bickering is starting, awesome job England...
''Oh c'mon dude, that's cuz I haven't even revealed it yet !''
''Okay well, what are you waiting for then ?''
''I think that ''totally rad'' thing you're talking about is moi ! I'd say I'm pretty magnifique'' Annnndd there goes the other one, this is how it always goes every single world meeting.
''Oh shut it, you ugly frog, you are not ''magnifique'' as you proclaim to be !!''
Okay well now America, England and France are fighting, which totally distracted America from what he even wanted to show to the whole world in the first place
''Ay, ya basta, me canso de que SIEMPRE estan pelliando''
''What'd he say ? Sorry dude I don't understand taco bell'' America then laughed at this and now even Mexico is involved with this useless banter.
''THAT IS ENOUGH !!!!!'' Germany who had been watching from the sidelines, always so hopeful they'd stop by themselves (which never happened by the way), finally cracked.
The four countries, stopped in their tracks, Mexico held America from his shirt, ready to fire a punch into his face, whilst England jabbed at France with his pen.
''Sorry Germany....'' The group of countries said, well except Mexico cuz he said ''Lo lamento, muchisimo.. pero.. todavia quiero partirle la madre a ese pinche gringo''
Germany picked up some of this and bought his hand to the bridge of his nose, whilst Spain watched with wide eyes (like the eyes emoji).
''Oye, hijo, por que no te sientas aqui, para que no te moleste America''
Mexico just scoffed and sat next to his father and crossed his arms.
''Okay since, we are all settled down, now. America what is the reason you bought us all here today, America''
''Ve- are you here to serve us pasta ? I'd like some pasta abouuut now ! All this fighting between you guys makes me really hungry !''
''It makes me wonder, how mr Greece is even able to sleep through all that'' Japan then pointed at Greece who was, of course sleeping through everything, as always.
America then remembered what he even wanted to show.
''OH right ! OKAY PREPARE YOURSELF GUYS !!'' He excitedly revealed what was under the huge American flag, it looked like a ring, with nothing in it, a massive ring. It had some sort of engravings on it that no one could decipher. Behind it was various application devices, did it need to be turned on via electricity ??
''Okay what in the world did you bring.. what even is this...?'' England was irritated because this was just stupid to him
''Oh wait, I forgot to activate it, hold on''
He plugged in a cable and then the ring came to life and made a loud whirring noise that even woke up Greece. Everyone was stunned and dumbfounded at this, what even is this thing.
''HAHAHA SEE GUYS, THIS IS A PORTAL !!''
''So like where exactly does this lead too then ??'' France was a bit intrigued
''I dunno, I WANA GO IN THO AND I WANA TAKE YOU ALL ! IT'LL BE SO MUCH FUN PLEEEEAAASEEE''
''Of course course the fuck not, America ! We don't even know if we'll be able to come back !!''
''UGH YOU'RE SUCH A BUMMER, ENGLAND !!''
The other countries chattered amongst themselves, whilst some did seem curious about where it'd take them, the thought of not being able to return scared them. Then some others were very against going, like China. Some were going to go either way, Russia being one of them because he wanted to see if they'd get to go to some gruesome place and he wanted to watch everyone suffer.
America restored to his final resort... guilt tripping !
''Guys please... I don't care if some of you don't come... It's just.. my boss has been really shitty and I need an escape from all the things he's doing and I wanted to do something fun. I finally found that fun ! but it won't be fun if I'm the only one going... I really doubt that we will be stuck there forever..! So just trust me on this one.. okay ?''
Okay well that was just sad, it did in fact move the opinions of some countries, mainly Japan, he felt bad so he spoke up
''I'll go with you Mr America''
''Are you actually willing to go with this fool or did he somehow brainwash you !!'' Switzerland spoke up whilst bashing his hand on the table
''Big bruder.. I think it'd be interesting.. why don't we go ?''
''No. You are too small.''
''But-''
''Okay fine, but I'll go, I'll tell you all about it when I come back because I'm scared you'll get hurt...''
''That's good enough for me then !'' Liechtenstein smiled to herself and then swayed her feet, whilst Switzerland face palmed himself into agreeing to such ridiculous thing.
''I will not be going. It seems dangerous and risky and also someone with millennia of experience, has to stay here'' China spoke up finally ''Oh but do take Hong Kong ! I'm sure he will be interested !''
''What, okay sure whatever''
''I'm also going !'' Russia said with a nice and innocent smile but then a tension arose. ''I'm going with you too. I must ensure you are protected.'' It was Belarus... she was his overprotective little sister, Russia appreciated all the concern but it got to a point it made him highly uncomfortable ''Ah there's no need Bela..!'' he tried to protest against her, if she was going then maybe he'd just stay... that's when Ukraine came up behind Belarus and held her. She did not like this at all because she started wriggling like a cat and trying to get Ukraine off her ''You go and have fun, brother... I'd tell you to tell us how it goes but I'm not supposed to be talking to you, right now.. so I'll keep her in tact...'' she started tearing up whilst Belarus still screeched and tried to get out of Ukraine's grasp. Russia only nodded at this because he was speechless and just wanted to leave, like... right now...
Though before leaving... Russia went up to Lithuania and placed his hands on his shoulders. ''I'm taking you with me !''
''What..! but I don't even live with you anymore ! I don't wan't to go !!!!'' he shook and trembled as Russia started dragging him. Estonia and Latvia looked at each other in horror and then Latvia called out ''Tell us what happens when you come back !!'' Estonia hit his head and told him to shut up before Russia came and got them too. Though Poland went to go threaten Russia, which was something out of the control of the Baltics...
''GERMANY !! I WANA GO TOO ! what if they serve pasta, wherever we are going ! please please please !!!! Even Japan is going !''
''....I can't say no... can I...''
''Nope ! we are going, ve !''

After everyone FINALLY knew if they were going or staying... the line up went like this
Going to the mysterious portal:
America (of course), Mexico (He wants to watch America eat dirt), Russia (Same as Mexico but instead its to watch everyone eat dirt), Canada (He wanted to go since he was the one that got Alfred to find this thing), Italy (wants pasta but he also finds it curious), Germany (He can't leave Italy alone), Japan (he felt bad for America), Switzerland (His sister managed to get him to go as much as he didn't want to), Hong Kong (China said so and went along with it), Iceland (Hong Kong wanted him to come too), England (He needs to make sure America doesn't do some stupid shit), France (Is just there to bother England), Lithuania (Forced by Russia), Poland (cuz Lithuania is going), Belgium (because the author said so), Romania (this really intrigued him, though he made Bulgaria take care of Moldova), Hungary (Austria didn't want to go), Spain (his BFFS (England and France) were going), Denmark (He didn't want to miss out on this) anddd wait. who is that.
''SEALAND'' England screamed from where he stood ''WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE''
''I'm going with you guys ! It's not fair that you guys will be having all the fun !''
''You are NOT going, look at you, you're a pipsqueak !''
''So ? It'll prove im worthy of being a country !''
''No not at all, go back to watching anime or something'' America laughed at this and England glared at him.
''I don't care ! I'm going ! You're just a big bully !''
''Someone grab this kid please...''
And with that, Sweden went up to pick up Sealand, who was now crying because he wanted to go, but Sweden did agree, it'd be dangerous considering, they didn't even know where that portal lead to.
It was time for them to go in the portal and to be safe, Germany had made them form a single file line, allowing them to enter one by one, some energetic, some looking like they didn't care at all but still went in. All the chatter of the countries going through the portal died down and Germany looked at the remaining countries and then nodded and headed off.
''Okay well now what...'' Austria spoke up
''I guess we can only wish them the best'' China replied still looking at the portal ''Boy am I hungry, lets all get something to eat !''
