MONDAY - 5 days until Asriel comes back...
The day began, as Kris woke up, the alarm clock displayed "7:00 AM".
"... (Late again!?)" said Kris, as he began to dress and run downstairs. Toriel had prepared a nice breakfast for them, but Kris had just passed it, screaming "... (No time for breakfast!)".
"You will regret this," said Toriel, obviously OOC (out-of-character), but she did not mind. she threw a waffle into Kris's hand using her magic skills. Kris quickly ran to the bus stop and got onto the bus, yelling "... (Wait for me!)". when Kris got on the bus next to Susie and Noelle, Susie teasingly said "heh, guess the zombie's late again." Noelle greeted Kris, her friend. The bonds of all three were strong, especially after their adventures in the dark worlds. but one bond between Noelle and Susie was stronger than the others.
At school, Kris made it to their first class of the day with professor Alphys. he didn't mind it much, as the teacher is fun to mess around with, stealing her chalk, falling asleep in class, all that jazz... wait, what are we talking about again? oh yeah, right, High School stuff.
"A-alright, students! it's Journal inspection day! get your class journals out, and I will pick a random one to read!" Kris reluctantly gets their notebook out, but not without being forced by the SOUL to do it first.
when Alphys picked Kris for their journal, they were devastated. they waited for her to flip to the latest page in their journal. "... (Dear journal, I need to share something concerning. I have a problem with my SOUL. Whenever me and my friends go into a D-)" Kris quickly interrupted Alphys by saying "... (hey, don't touch that! it's personal...)" "o-oh, okay..." said Alphys. "Pardner, you have a SOUL!? I ain't heard of one of those things since we left the underground!" yelled Snowy.
Kris was embarrassed, going over to Susie's desk to continue the school project.
"Dude, it's okay to have a SOUL. you don't have to be embarrassed about it," affirmed Susie. "I'm kind of... intrigued about it, actually! what the fuck does that SOUL do to you anyways that you're so scared to talk about it?" Susie was purple. Kris said "... (long dialogue.)" and Susie replied "oh, right."
after what felt like an eternity, Alphys spoke up: "alright, will Berdly volunteer to read Chapter 4 of My Immortal?"
"wait, wha-" suddenly, Berdly teleported to the front of the class before he could object, reading the book with an undertone that said "I don't want to be here". he read: "...And then… suddenly just as I Draco kissed me passionately. Draco climbed on top of me and we started to make out keenly against a tree. He took of my top and I took of his clothes. I even took of my bra. Then he put his thingie into my you-know-what and we did it for the first time...." (AN: I am not joking, that is a word-for-word excerpt from My Immortal) Berdly continued to read, his eyes giving off the vibe of "what the hell am I reading"?
"heh, it's always funny to see Berdly read those weird fanfics." Susie talked with Kris to make them less anxious. "It's like seeing the Temmie statue being sculpted." that helped lift the embarrassment away.
"and this will be in your 4th Quarter finals on Friday. make sure to get the project turned in before that!" but now ALL of them were anxious, Kris, Susie, Noelle, Jerry... the whole five yards. it was like they were going to have a bad time. will they get it done on time? what will their project actually be? stay tuned for the next chapter of DeltaRune High School!
