Chapter Text
Saparata’s day began with a warm touch on his head that gently roused him from the deep sleep he’d been immersed in for just a couple of hours.
The first thing he saw when he slowly opened his eyes was a pair of deep blue eyes studying him intently.
Ish still had his hand tangled in the mess that was Saps’ morning hair, and the smile that formed on his face almost touched the frame of his glasses as he watched the clumsy way Saps blinked to adjust to the golden light illuminating the room.
“Good morning, Saps,” the god greeted him, still running his fingers affectionately through the white strands. “A long day awaits you today,” was the last thing Ish said, before disappearing in a flash, taking with him the warmth and some of the light that had been there.
The second thing Saparata saw upon waking were the hundreds of messages on the tiny screen of his device, mostly from his partners wishing him good morning and offering a couple of invitations that Saps knew he couldn’t refuse. With that, he understood what Ish had meant when he said a long day awaited him.
