Chapter Text
In a place, far away, there lies a land where noise ceases to exist.
..or it was supposed to. The population seems small, they seem confused, all 18 of them, with no prior knowledge of what happened before they were there. While confused, they weren't necessarily aggressive.
Day by day, groups formed, friends were made, it seemed like the good times would never end. Then,
He was so stupid, how has he done something so stupid. Is it really Aqua if he wasn't ever so slightly empty-headed. I mean, It doesn't get more Aqua than dying from a water bucket clutch..
Cannon shots rang out each night, booming at exactly midnight.
Enemies were made, people died. Alot of them.
But people were back alive? How were such things possible, Aqua could care less about such things, he wasn't ever slightly bothered until that happened.
Some of the people he's met, they felt so..
How could he say it? More aggressive, as in seriously aggressive, not in a joking way.
They felt different than usual, they way the glint in their eyes slightly dimmed once in a while.
People take him less for what he really is, but he's quite sure he has seen the pupils of their eyes flash a bright shade of red.
...
His head throbbed.
It felt nauseating just to move, but also to stand still.
He didn't know what to do, it was all so.. infuriating..?
He feels like he's going to cry, but also yell in anger at the same time.
How do you grieve for someone who's still here?
Was he even still here? He could meet with him anytime, really. It just would feel.. not the same as before.
He's never felt anything like this.
Ever.
Or at least he thinks he's never felt like this before,
maybe in an alternate universe he had felt such, strong emotions.
'But, okay! Get back on track, Aqua.'
LG just left.
" LG.. " he mumbled to himself
Just like that.
He remembers the moment vividly, the way LG gave him the most bittersweet smile as he left. The way his hair blew in the strong gale of wind, he was absolutely devastated, the way..
It felt like nature was dead set on making him remember the moment.
He feels like he's tearing up just reminiscing about what happened.
Atleast, Breadd is still here.
" I don't understand.. " he did, he just didn't want to
Why did he understand? Why did he even agree to that condition?
Why was he so
..
Just, why his team?
He wishes he wasn't like this.
..
Ever since he remembered, he's always thought in his heart. Although it always ended in disaster, he never stopped doing it.
..
'Maybe it's time for a change.' He thought, doubt creeping in.
..
The feeling of doubt mixed with the emotions he was feeling at the moment was not a good combination for him.
Unfortunately, he can't control what his heart feels, so he's going to have to deal with it.
Everything was spinning, the grass was moving around in ways they weren't supposed to.
And was that Tung tung tung sahur?!
The big wooden stick ran towards him, launching its stick in Aqua's direction.
He flinched away from the stick thrown at him in shock.
Soon after, Triple T disappeared, waving its hand in goodbye, its smile never seeming quite right.
..
No, no, no.. that can't possibly be.
Did LG's leave really take this bad of a toll on him,
Or did he eat too many sweet berries again?
Does it matter, he'd still eat them anyways.
He blinked in confusion, as if it would help with the hallucinations and voices.
He stopped in his tracks, the air around him shifted, but he was too deep in thought to even notice.
Maybe it was the phantoms, specifically the lack of sleep he had since LG left.
Gosh, LG,
LG,
LG.
Why is he so worked up about him, Breadd seems to be doing just fine without him.
Speaking of Breadd,
Where was he?
...
Actually, scratch that, where was he?!
Because, last time he remembered, he was walking back to his not-ruin (it's a ruin, he just doesn't want to admit it is) of a house.
But, this wasn't.. Did he get lost?
Oh. This was bad.
Will Breadd get mad?
" Oh, wait, that rhymes, 's so awesome.." He mumbled, giggling to himself.
Oh.. he sure hopes he doesn't get mad.
" Okay! Time to get back, in the best, most reliable way! " He bounced back with a joyful attitude, while stretching his limbs.
" —with the good ol' backtrack method! " He hyped himself up, before he realised..
He had absolutely no idea where he was.
" There's no way, did I wander off the world border? No.. that's physically impossible." he reasoned with himself
He looked around from where he stood, he saw a.. water-pole‐elevator-to-heaven-thingy? That's so weird.
" I knew I should've brought Breadd along with me " he muttered with a defeated sigh.
" When I get back, he won't believe what I'm about to tell him. I mean– how do you explain that?!" He loudly spoke, waving his arms around in hysterics towards the direction of said water-pole‐elevator-to-heaven-thingy.
..
Now he was compelled to wander off around explore this unfamiliar land, which he knows is dangerous—but how bad could it be?
So with that, he went off to the direction of the weird structure that seemingly goes up to the skies.
He threaded the path his heart had made. He saw flowers, berries, and..
A piercing screech cuts through the silence of his footsteps, he felt goosebumps all over his skin.
..phantoms?
Oh.
Oh dear.
He's got to find a place to hide from these annoying filthy phantoms soon. Seriously, why were they created in the first place?
With no visible places he can seemingly take shelter in, he half-heartedly digs himself into the ground.
“ O-kay.. where are my.. torches..? “ He elongated the ‘o’ sound in okay.
He searched his inventory, but his torches are nowhere to be seen, are his eyes alright?
“ Oh. cr—ud.. “ He ran out of torches. Did he even have torches to begin with? He can’t possibly answer that!
“ I knew I should've double checked before leaving.. gosh, and now it's all dark! “ He rambled to himself, grumbling down on the ground, sat cross-legged on the floor.
Great. Now he's cramped down inside a dirt hole with no light while he waits for daylight. What next? you're gonna tell him he time travelled? Pshh.. simply IMPOSSIBLE! Or as a fancy British man would say, it's simply preposterous!
“ Okay, why am I talking to myself. I'm already going insane, oh my gosh.. “ He said, defeated (by nothing)
.
.
A few blocks underneath Aquafic, a cloaked figure listens in confusion, pickaxe in hand.
The figure hesitates on deciding whether or not to speak, letting out a quiet uncommited sigh under their breath.
