Chapter Text
Matthias Wycoff a former employee of Playtime Co received a letter and VHS tape to his home. Playtime co... once he worked for them as delivery driver to get funds to go to med school and now all his co workers just disappeared when he was out on his route. He was given a urgent message to not return, that there was danger. It was pure agony to look back on it and not have the answers as to what happen but, now he had the chance to find closure and he'll take it.

He wouldn't think much of Huggy at first since he didn't know about the bigger bodies initiative, would even give him a high five with the grabpack, but that's it. When it came time for the chase, he was stunned at first that Huggy was legit moving toward him with... not so friendly intent, he ran. When he pulled the box, he saved Huggy with the grabpack, throwing him back to the vent which allowed Matt to continue alone and free Poppy from the case.

Meeting Poppy left him shocked about what Playtime co was doing below the surface. Poppy herself despite being friendly didn't exactly inspire a good feeling in Matt's gut but he gave her the benefit of doubt anyway. He's by no means a mute but for some reason he just didn't open his mouth for the whole journey. His first meeting with Mommy longlegs did startle him but he went along with games, he would free Bunzo, be gentle with the mini wuggies, and gave PJ a soft smile when ever he looked back to him. When Mommy came for him, he could tell he couldn't reason with her and he was too shocked to help her when she got caught in the grinder. Bunzo and the others would see him off at the train but refuse to come with. Then the train crashed right outside Playcare, where the story would truly begin.
