A dim light flickered amidst the darkness of the room, followed by a groan and a warm figure getting out of a bed. Noa who was seemingly asleep didn't notice anything, she kept on sleeping with a content look on his face.
"I guess someone was extra tired today, " Whispered Pina, before slightly closing the bedroom door, leaving a tiny gap for if Noa woke up as he went else where.
His steps were sloppy, hair messy, and looked like someone who just came down from a mountain climb. He turned on the lights of the bathroom door, coming in to brush his hair and do some personal matters. Meanwhile, Noas eyes started to flicker open after noticing the sudden ray of light coming from the door. He moved her arms around, trying to feel where Pina could be. Man where is this guy,,? Did he fell off the bed??? She asked herself before fully opening her eyes to see that he's not even in the room anymore.
A groan continued as he walked like a penguin to the couch to lie down. Moments later, a familiar figure came out of the bathroom door and switched off it's lights,
"Oh, sorry. I didn't think it'd wake you up. Guess I should've shut the door completely,"
"It's fine, it's always so cold in your room when you're not there,"
The edge of his lips went up when he heard Noas remark, "So you missed me that much in just a short while? "
Here we go again, Noa was already wayyy too used to his flirts but it does still make her feel cornered whenever he does so— he tried to think of a way to get out of the situation but alas, her mind just went blank and she couldn't make out any words out of his mouth, which would often lead to giving Pina a quick laugh before feeling a bit guilty over it.
"....."
"Heheh... sorry sorry— it's always so funny to see you blank out whenever I do that, "
He walked towards the couch to where Noa's sitting before giving him a quick side hug as an apology— giving her shoulder a right squeeze as their heads lean on each other.
" Ahhh.... I don't feel like going to bed, "
"Hmm.. Me too... But what should we do? "
"... You hungry..? "
"Kinda, but not so much, "
"Me too.. We can eat like.. half and half of instant ramen.. "
That's actually not bad, yeah sure. Lemme check if we have some, "
Pina stood up from the couch and pulled noa with him, as she likes to stick around whenever he's doing something. Noa wrapped his arms around him and almost fully leaned on his back, still carrying his own weight than let Pina carry it all as he moved around to make them both some food. It is quite annoying, yes— but it's not so often that noa fully let's loose on being touchy, she usually takes it slowly and not immediately got onto him like what he's doing now.
"Doing it like this is quite hard y'know? Won't you let go this time? " Pina said playfully,
"Is it reaaaally that hard? "
"Okay, it's not THAT hard but don't lean on me too much, or else my precious hair my get boiled because of you, "
"Fine... "
Noa shifted her weight and stood up more rather than leaning forward, but she hugged him tighter in return. Is his hair usually this soft? Mmm... Oh and his back is so warm... Even I don't think I can be this hot,
Noa mumbles as Pina finishes cooking and mixing all the little sauce packets before putting it on the dining table for them to share.
"It's done, you can let go now, "
Noa just does as he told him to do, he loosened up his grip before fully letting go and sitting down. She rubs her eyes a bit before fully opening them to see pinas drowsy look with his messy hair with a gentle and soft smile.

"Heyy earth to Noa, are you there?? You okay..?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah.. Just a bit sleepy.. "
"Oookay then. Be careful, it's still pretty hot"
Noa grabbed the pair of chopsticks infront of him and slurped up the noodles.. They were cooked not too savory and not too bland, it's juuust right. As she chewed a clearly satisfied look could be seen on her face. Pina stared at him for a quick while before letting out a chuckle and asking,
"Is it really that good? "
"Probably the best thing I've ever tasted.. Especially at midnight... "
"Hahah, sure sure.. Whatever you say sweetie, "
They went on eating until the bowl was finished, noa volunteered on washing the dishes since he realized he was being a nuisance while Pina was cooking.
"Now it's my turn," Pina hugged noa my the waist and leaned his weight onto her just like what she did to him. At first noa jolted but continued on, all the while Pina hugged him.
"Thump, thump, thump— your heart is beating quite fast, no? " Pina jested, mimicking noas heartbeat to tease him a little bit in this tired state.
".... You know you still make me nervous, "
"Still? "
"Yeah.. Im too much of a loser to not be nervous, you know"
"Hm.. You silly, even if you are a loser, you're my loser and not anybody else's. "
"That's cheesy, even for you,"
"I'm not in the right state of mind to think of anything right now. "
Noa finished washing and dried off her hands, before dragging Pina who is still highly gripped behind him back into his bedroom. Pina slowly let's go of his grip and crawled under the covers first, continuing with noa as soon as he felt the shivers on his skin.
"Dude, did the ac get even colder while we were eating.. "
"It's still the same temperature, I guess our bodies cooled down a bit. "
"Ngh... "
Noa instinctively went closer to Pina, as he was the only source of warmth other than her own body. Pina let's out a small chuckle and pulled noa towards him.
Oh my goddd who let's such a sweet person like this be with me? How are you so adorably cute like a tiny little lost puppy. I'm gonna squeeze coddle you up until the end of time!!!!
He had laid behind noas back, with his arms wrapped around his chest, face just a bit higher than his nape, and the rest of their bodies seemingly melting into one another— with their legs intertwined and bodies touching.
"It's nice, being this close to you,"
"Mm... Same for me too, thank you."
Noa laughed quietly, as this was a moment of vulnerability for pina— usually, he wouldn't say anything like that if it's without mischievous intent, like to make noa laugh, flustered, or even angry sometimes.
"Was that funny to you? "
"No no, it was just... cute..?"
"Hmph, I'll let you slide this time."
"Sorry~"
Pina playfully tugged on noas shirt as a reply, acting as if he was angry at her.
After their little banter, they both became a bit more drowsy— their eyes felt heavy and they couldn't move their body. As a final act of the day, Pina gave a tender kiss on her nape as a goodnight before they both went back to the land of slumber.
