A click and a flash of light. Rocks ground against one another. A dull thud.
The world resumed once more.
Time had passed.
Brief moments? An eternity?
A figure sat on the ground in front of the unown. It had fallen from above. It made noises indicating pain and rubbed itself where it landed.
Unown gently peeled itself from off the wall. The first time in a long time since it had last moved. It had sensed the others stirring some time before. Minutes? Hours?
The figure began to rise and stood on two legs. “This is that main room again. Huh. Strange. Do they all lead back to the same place?”
Unown followed after it.
Remembering.
These things were humans.
It was not as if it hadn’t seen one in a while. No, they had been there, wandering and exploring. It was just different. Until this point, time was both ever flowing and completely still.
The human wandered about, leaving and entering various passageways. It touched a wall.
“L-I-G-H-T? ... Light? Hmm…”
The human stood there for a moment. Unown had just decided to move on when the human revealed a pokémon.
“Flaaffy, use flash.”
A blinding light. A loud rumble; sound of rock being moved once more. A new passage way revealed.
“Thanks, buddy.”
Unown took a closer look.
“Huh, just like that first room. I wonder if anything else cha-AAAAHHH!”
Unown had clonked into the human, assuming it would move into the room instead of turning around.
“Flaaffy, quick, thunder wave!”
Before it could properly react, unown found itself twitching, wishing to unleash it’s hidden power, but unable to do so.
A pokéball flew straight at it.

“W? No. Wait, no, U!”
Unown blinked. Me?
The human seemed to get it’s confusion. “I mean, yes you, but also as in the letter U.” The human guided unown to the text on the floor. “See, you’re U. … wait, what I mean is-“
Unown watched as the human babbled on a bit. Despite the difference in appearance, humans now seemed to be the same as before.
