The rain had been falling for hours, making the figures in the distance harder to see. Even squinting he couldn't make them out. Curiosity eventually got the best of Jude so he ever so cautiously (casually) approached. Their in the distance he saw two silhouettes battling it out.
Clashing of swords were endless, both were clearly drained of their resources- he could just wait for one to die then clean them up and steal all the shit. So with plan in motion he hid behind a nearby tree ready to jump in.
Finally after what felt like days, a message pinged in chat right as one of the figures seemed to vanish into thin air.
Nufuli was slain by Conexion
Jude instantly potted speed and dashed to the loot, seamlessly yoinking all the goop and bolting outta there, but of course things never go as planned huh.
"Jude! What the hell!?" Sharpness (of course it was him) yelled from behind, already chasing after the rabbit. "Sorry not sorry! Finders keepers!!" Jude mocked though maybe he should focus on running, the swordsman was already catching up.
Suddenly regret filled his mind. Why did Jude think he could outrun this? Although being a rabbit he wasn't the most athletic. And of course he didn't bring invis! With sharpness right on his tail and no other option, Jude had to do what he did best
Their was a KB trap around 300 blocks away, but the rain that still hadn't stopped! Making it impossible to tell where he was going. His body couldn't keep up and sharpness could tell "can't run forever Judy." Sharp mimicked Jude's mockery earlier
Thankfully the trap was within range he just had to hit sharp in. Jude suddenly turned full 180 on his heels ready to hit the swordsman. With perfect aim Jude hit Sharp, sending him flying back.

if only things went so well
within seconds Sharpness tugged on Jude's bow tie sending the BOTH of them tumbling down the trap. several thuds were heard, Jude's eyes shut tight from the sudden drop. When he felt the cold stone under him Jude finally opened his eyes.
Only to find he was trapped in a two by two with the one and only Sharpness Conexion. Great. Just great. Their was a long beat of silence. Until sharpness remember he was a sentient being.
"What the fuck Jude!! You stole my shit!" sharpness shouted, clearly still pissed. Jude honestly couldn't care less about his whining instead opting to get out ASAP.
The trap looked to be unfinished, the funnel wasn't done, armor stands weren't placed and their weren't any buttons covering the walls. This all would be fine and dandy- easy escape right? But Jude didn't have a pickaxe.
He gave his pickaxe to Parker for him mining trip. and all he had was Redstone sticks and string. Trapping stuff. Jude's only choice was to ask the blond in front of him. "sharp, you got a pickaxe?" of course sharpness would have one what moron wouldn't
"no." right sharpness is a moron! "Do you have an Ender chest?" Surely he would! He was JUST in batt- "no" or maybe he's just trying to die. "Blocks??" Their was no way sharpness didn't have blocks! "I ran out"
"You built this right. How do we get out?" Sharpness asked, rage subdued. "To build a trap is one thing to escape a 30 block drop without a pickaxe is another." Jude deadpanned The only other thought Jude had was to ask Parker to dig them out, but course he wasn't online anymore! and by the looks of it sharpness' new teammates weren't on either. They were just. Trapped.
With no ways of escape, the both sat in their own corner of the trap. The silence was deadly I mean what are you supposed to say to your ex-teammate/enemy/rival?
It was like hours had passed (it had probably only been 15-20 minutes) the rain still hadn't cleared! So not only was he stuck in a hole, but he was soaking wet and stuck in a hole! Jude glanced over to sharpness. might be nice to see him just as pissed as Jude.
But Sharpness didn't look mad? He looked hurt. His body was turned away from Jude's so he couldn't get a good look at the blond, but he could hear him.
Sharp was wincing? All it took was a moment to realize sharps arm was covered in blood. He was tried to hide it from the rain (and from Jude) but it looked as if just a drop burned his skin off. On instinct, before even thinking Jude reached over to inspect the wound.
"Hey, what the hell?" Sharpness sounded more confused than angry. Jude decided to ignore the question to instead ask his own. "how did you get this? It looks pretty bad." Jude tried to thumb the Side of the wound only for sharp to flinch back.
"BACK OFF" sharp demanded. Pressing himself so far on the wall he could fuse with it. Why did he have to be such a bitch! Jude was just trying to be nice "Geez! Don't have to act like a baby, just let me help!" The rabbit argued but it only pissed sharpness off more.
The rain intensified, lighting boomed around the duo threatening to strike. Sharpness' hands found their way to Jude's shoulder try to shake the sense into him. his attempt was a complete failure.
"Fuck you! I don't need you help." This time instead of backing off sharpness kicked Jude in the stomach, forcing him to back off. things went quiet. Only the sound of Rain falling and muffled winces were audible.
Jude just spent the next few minutes picking at the dirt between his nails. Despite trying to ignore the blond he could help notice how sharp slightly trembled from the cold. Or how his uninjured arm gripped the gravel below.
Despite sharpness being a whiny bitch, Jude still wanted to help. So he was going to wether sharp liked it or not. He approached slower this time, just sitting next to sharp. Jude stared at the injury almost touching the cut again before flinching away like he touched something cold. "can I help?"

"Please."

"Fine"
something similar to relief washed over him. Jude reached out to grab his last health pot and gently poured it over the cut. Warm healing magic glowed across sharps skin, the wound still open but bleeding less.
To stop said bleeding the bunny ripped part of his already soaking jumper and wrapped it around sharpness' arm, tying a bow at the end. Their was still silence but it was slightly less suffocating. Like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
"Better?" Jude asked, tone more lighter then before "yeah…" was all sharp said before stopping himself. hesitance overwhelmed the swordsman's face. Just as Jude thought that was the end of their short lived conversation he felt the other grab his hand softly. "Thank you."
"Thanks for-" sharpness was at a loss for words. And honestly so was Jude. Him and sharpness hadn't had a friendly interaction since. well- since they were teammates. It felt
Good.
Nether of them even noticed the rain stopped. "Your really good at that." The blond remarked, leaning against the stone wall posture more relaxed. "Good at what?" Jude smiled taking in the compliment before even spoken.
"You always know what to say- or like what to do." Sharpness grip Jude's hand tighter. "It's basically my job, y'know being a trappa" the rabbit shrugged. Then finally made eye contact with the blonde. He wanted to say more. Just didn't know what.
"Yeah but when you do it then. I-it's like your doing it for your own gain." He paused pondering how to word it. flailing his hands trying to convey what he meant. "What do you gain?"

What did Jude gain? He never thought about it like that. He did something to convenience someone other than him. And that some one was sharpness. "I dunno!" Jude was starting to get defensive, and he didn't like it one bit. he took a breath before admitting the truth. second one of the day.
"i just… wanted to help you. no strings attached no 'gaining' anything." sharpness was lost in thought. His silence gave Jude a scare before bursting into laughter. he was clutching his chest laughing like a hyena. and Jude just stared dumbfounded like an idiot! "what!?? what did i say" the rabbit asked in genuine confusion.
"you wanted to help me! Judelow Sasso wanted to help me!" the blond said between muffled giggles. "yeah! i did so what?!" Jude waved his free arm in the air (other hand still interlinked with sharpness') "nothing-nothing its just, nice to know."
as much as it angered him to know the one time he kinda communicates how he feels to sharpness he's laughed at! Jude couldn't help but start laughing too. they were now both on the floor giggling like toddlers but, it felt right- like old times.
one giggling fit later and the laughter slowed into peaceful quiet. the duo just sat their next to each other. silently taking in the moment. they both made eye contact again.
Sharpness took a minute to just look at Jude. A smile bright as the sun warmed the swordsman's face. Without a second thought the blond admitted in the most syrupy tone "Your pretty." Those two words surprised the both of them. sharpness instantly covered his mouth, looking mortified.
Jude scrambled to think of some snarky way to respond but he simply didn't know how. He could feel the heat of the room increase 10 fold. Or maybe it was just his face. Every time he opened his mouth to say something it just wouldn't sit right.
"Your pretty too" was all that could come out his mouth. Could he say that? It felt weirdly honest for a guy that tells more lies than truths. But it was all he could say. Sharpness tried turning away, but he swore their was a tint of red to the others face.
Jude hated the quiet, their were always ideas bouncing in his head and the quiet just made them louder. but this quiet was different, it was nice. his head didn't scream as much. Plus he had a pretty blond to admire.
why did sharpness have to betray him?
that one thought lasted about a second before Jude nipped it in the bud. not today, he was going to enjoy this. him and sharp were kinda? on good terms and he would not ruin this. Half mindlessly the rabbits head found its way to sharpness' shoulder, just laying their. A lot can happen in a few hours, maybe all they needed was to talk.
Jude was woken to several pings.

oh shit. how long had it been? better question when did he fall asleep?? Jude looked to his side the see sharpness resting peacefully. well not for long! "SHARPNESS WAKE UP" sharps head was leaning on judes so when Judelow got up the blond face planted into the floor.
This in fact pissed sharpness off. "AGH what the hell Jude??" sharp yelled back. "i know your mad.. but not for long! were gonna be saved!!" Jude typed so fast he thought his fingers would snap

maybe he shoulda priv messaged Parker, but its fine! no one knew him and sharp were trapped so why would they go to his coordinates. Jude dusted himself off prepared to be free. it only took a few minutes before he heard foot steps approaching.
wow Parker must of been close. But last Jude remembered Parker said he was at their base. How was he here already? "umm Jude?" sharpness sounded concern? why does he sound concerned…
"JUDE YOU IDIOT TAI IS HERE."
sure enough when Jude raised his head, he saw the one and only _Tai looming about the duo, grinning ear to ear. "Heh well well welll~ what do we have here?" Tai tried to pull off the tough evil laugh but the guy was anything but scary.
"Tai! Bro pleasseee please let us out" sharpness whined, voice going high pitched. "Hmm I dunno seeing you both die at my hands would be kinda satisfying…" Him and sharp hadn't done jackshit to this guy in weeks! Just as Jude thought things couldn't possibly get worse

Oh.. my… God!! Tai the motherfucker was taking photos of him and sharpness! "Tai!! what the fuck!?" Jude was ready to punch the him. "Gotta add this to my sharplow folder first! Say cheese!"

once Tai finally stopped he not so slowly descended the ladder, probably going to the crit out chamber. sharpness was clearly panicked- this dumb bitch was trying to climb a wall! "Fuck! Jude what do we do?? What do we do??"
Slash after slash started to penetrate Jude's armor. They were doomed. He was already at half health and once he was dead, sharpness would not be spared. Jude's life was on a thread, One heart left! It was the end… goodbye cruel world.
That's what Jude WOULD be thinking if he was a dumbass
He swiftly switched his chest plate into a spare iron one and watched Tai plummet to his death. Lucky the backup trap he made hadn't been wrecked yet. The last thing he made out was Tai's shrill scream. Things just went quiet after. Then Sharpness turned to him
"Is that what you killed me with?" Sharp said half in shock half impressed. "Yup! Now you can say you weren't the only one to fall for it!" Jude said mockingly happy tone.
It did take a bit of waiting until Parker finally arrived but the relief of being free was worth it 100%. Sharpness looked up guilt ridden beads of sweat falling down his chin. "oh- hehe" sharpness' nervous laugh was never a good thing. And in this situation Jude knew what he was going to say.
"So I had like 20 wind charges" the blond explained sheepishly. "You mean to tell me. We could've left! the whole time!!" Jude was angry! More than angry. He did not just spend PROBABLY AN ENTIRE DAY trapped in his own trap with Sharpness
Truthfully speaking. He was sort of glad it happened though. Glad he got to be on normal terms with sharpness again. Even if only for a day. It was worth it.
Bonus!!
Jude woke up in his bed this time, probably the best sleep he'd had in months. Was the best sleep. He felt that dreaded ding from a mile away. And he knew it was not going to be something good.

Jude covered his face with a pillow, already regrets waking up. It was going to be one hell of a long day.
