Thomas, Logan, Roman, and Patton were all laughing about something as they walked into the living room. Virgil was nervous about something and started to speak up "guys I think-"
"Stop being all paranoid, Virgil.." Logan suddenly says, waving his hand dismissively.
Virgil shuts up and crosses his arms. Looking kind of hurt.
Patton covers his mouth, stopping laughing. He was the only one that could hear it over the laughing.
Virgil backs up and sits near the stairs. Putting his hood up.
"Oh.. kiddo.." Patton mutters.
They're still joking around. Thomas noticed that Patton stopped laughing and followed his gaze to where Virgil was just sitting quietly.
"Virgil, you okay?" Thomas suddenly asks, stopping laughing.
"Mhm.."
"You don't seem it.." Thomas says, frowning a little.
Patton is looking at Logan.
"What?" Logan asks.
"I heard you." Patton says, crossing his arms.
"What..?"
"I heard you call Virgil that.. word.." Patton says.
"...oh.. I suppose that may have happened in the moment.." Logan says, fixing his glasses.
"...Yeah well. That doesn't make it better."
"What word are we talking here?" Thomas asks confused.
"Yes, we've gone through the whole secrets thing, have we not?" Roman asks.
"Logan called Virgil.. a name.."
"He called me paranoid. Just say it." Virgil suddenly snaps from his sitting spot.
Roman gasped and covered his mouth. "Logan! How could you!"
"I.. suppose I was not th-"
"Hold on can someone explain to me whats going on?" Thomas asks.
Logan was ignored again.. he sighs..
"Well.. when you call someone paranoid.. it usually makes them feel like you don't care about their fears.. and so saying that to Virgil is hurting him.. by invalidating how he feels.." Patton explains.
"Oh.." Thomas says, looking at Virgil's figure. He looks like he's trying to make himself smaller. Because he feels small in the moment.
"Virgil?.. we.. we care about you, you know that, right, kiddo?" Patton says.
"Can you not call me that then.."
"What? Virgil?"
"No, kiddo. I'm not a kid. I'm as old as you guys. Even if you ignored me most of the time, I was still there" Virgil says, looking up at them.
"Oh.. k- uh Virgil.. I'm sorry.." Patton says. "Why didn't you say anything before?"
"Because I felt like it was stupid.."
"Its not.. nothing you say is stupid.."
Logan mumbles something under his breath.
Virgil rubs his forehead. He glances at Logan, who just looks annoyed at being ignored.
"Um.. I.. forgive you.. Logan.." Virgil mumbles. "I get it just.. came out.. and, I suppose I.. could have waited.. Im sorry for ruining your guys' mood.." Virgil says.
"No its totally alright, Virgil," Thomas says.
"...thank you.." Logan mutters.
"So.. what was it you wanted to say..?" Roman asks.
"I.. don't even remember now.." Virgil mumbles.
"Well, if or when you do remember, we do care.. and we'll hear you out.. and help us get through it.." Thomas says.
Virgil happened to glance at Logan and noticed a small glint of orange in his eyes. He looks away quickly, flinching a little.
"So.. I still can't believe I-" Thomas and the others start walking away to the kitchen, talking again.
"Logan have you been.. feeling angry.. recently..?" Virgil asks.
"Not really, no, why..?"
"No reaso-"
Logan goes over to where Virgil is. His eyes now glowing orange. "I wouldn't plan on telling them if I were you.. you know what happens when you disobey, anxiety.." he whispers.
Virgil inhales and nods a little. "Good.. now.. Logan won't remember this.. and no bringing it up to him.." he says before backing up.
Logan rubs his forehead. "I think I'm coming down with something. I'm going to go lay down. Good day."
"Yeah.. good day.." Virgil mutters, leaving to his room.
[End card scene]
He sighs and looks at the corner of his room.
"Yes Janus?"
"I'm just wondering why you look so.. uncomfortable.." he says, raising an eyebrow.
"Just.. didn't think he'd be going for one of them.. you know..?" Virgil says.
"Who?" Janus asks, raising an eyebrow.
"You know who.."
"No I mean who is he going for..?"
"Logan.."
"Hm. Makes sense. The more knowledge someone has.. the more dangerous they become.." he glances to the camera before the video ends.
