Niko awakes from his slumber, BREAKFAST AWAITS!
While he would normal hop out of bed at six sharp,(Yes, he knows he's a freak of nature but who cares)he stares at his own hand, intrigued by it.
How did he turn to stone-PETRIFY-like that? He was running from that red...thing, fearing for his life, jumped down a hole and he ended up in some flesh tunnels, and well yeah.
It did like nearly graze him as he fell, but it's still so strange. Oh whatever, he'll bust some myths later, the time for breakfast is now!
He leaps out of bed, skedaddling to the weird intersection of cupboards and comically small kitchen.
Opening one of the cupboards, he spots something out of place, Guest 666 in the thing.
He leaps at Niko, tackling the stone boy to the ground.
"...what were you doing in there?"
The Guest reels back, his mouth splits apart like an insect, slowly licking him with a menacing grin.
"Dude! Gross!"
He skitters away into deeper parts of the manor, chuckling as he does.
The bunny wakes up as well.
"Hey why did he do that?"
"He
just
does
that
from
time
to
time."
The (now grounded) stone boy frowns.
"Great, guess I'll have to deal with that."
He rises from the ground, checking the damn cupboard for anything at this point.
He finds a comically large piece of burnt bacon, a whole head of lettuce (with one ant trying to steal it) and a whole gallon of tabasco sauce.
"Hey, question, is Guest alright?"
"no."
"Yea that scans."
He tries to fix up a sandwich with the weird list of ingredients but the result is what even a 1 star chef would call "Bullshit".
He ponders if it's even edible before a certain asshole ghost shows back up again.
"What are you doing! It's my job to get breakfast!"
Niko slowly blinks at him.
"Well you could have told me that before I made the sandwich!"
"Just go take a walk or something, I don't want to deal with you babies."
Niko struts out the door of Guest's room, kicking the door of the manor to open cause of how tired he is of that ghost's nonsense, Aubree follows, albeit after throwing on her sneakers.
"Where
we
goin?"
"Somewhere."
Niko blurted out as he truly was just picking a random direction and going.
They kept going down the surrounding forest's path, its creepy-ness faded to reveal a green glow, the trees part to reveal a small town.
The town's paths created with concrete lay shattered in the wake of something. Multiple gates and cars wallow in their destroyed states, chemical burns line the gates.
A stray few lanterns stay alight in this darkness.
Niko's eyebrows raised at the sight, a whole new place to explore! Sure it might be dangerous but who knows what happened here!
Aubree ,on the other hand, groans at the sight, she's done with all this adventuring, why another place and why now?
A black and red shoe creeps out from behind a corner before rushing off.
"It's
Guest
messing
with
us
like
always."
"Well what do we do?"
"Just
follow
him
he's
being
playful
right
now."
"What if he isn't?"
"He'd
kick
you
in
the
face
by
now."
Niko shutters at that explanation ,but, follows despite his better judgement.
Meanwhile Aubree sprints forward at the supposed Guest, dashing down a hall or two, forcing Niko to catch up.
They see a black shape sprint away and behind some..cubes? What even are those, they're unlabelled, who just needs 3 large cubes lying around?!
Aubree closes the gap between her and him, finding his eyes glaring at her from the dark with a large smile.
She picks him up like one would a cat.
"You've beaten the game, congrats!"
She stares at him but sighs, unable to yell at him for this, his face is too precious.
"Well shall we go back to that old rickety manor, good folks? Or do you want a blood pumping round two?-"
His face turns pale as something makes a large stomping sound..It's in the same building as them.
A green hazmat suit rounds the corner, emitting gas from every seem, this is the culprit.
"Niko
istg
blow
its
balls
off."
"Pronto."
He says shakily, pulling out his rocket launcher and firing at the monster before him, it turns its lower half to mere tatters, leaving only an exposed skeleton behind.
Aubree manifests her bloodsword and knocks the poor thing into the sky with the broadside of it.
"CONSIDER THIS MYTH:BUSTED!"
Niko shouts as it flies through the air, getting a chuckle out of Lulz.
"Let's never go here again."
"Maybe."
"I
agree."
And so the three return back to the manor, sharing bites of the worst sandwich ever made.
