Pangi and Lukey have been friends for a while, it's almost been a year, damn.. Already? It's insane how they met through a Minecraft server, all because of a mutual friend of theirs named, Tubbo. You gotta give him some credit for introducing these two.
Ever since they met, they've just been best friends, never leaving eachother, the seperation anxiety is crazy. It's so bad infact, Pangi decided to move into the same house as Lukey. But of course he isn't just there for him, that'd be crazy! He loves his brighton friends too.
It's been a month since Pangi moved to brighton, and it seems like he smiles a little more nowadays and just feels happier in general.. I mean, imagine waking up next to your best friend in bed, and when you go on a morning jogging session, you usually see some friends walking by you.
Pangi would never choose to leave this place.
On a Saturday morning, both of them decided to go to a near by coffee shop and talk about life while drinking coffee.
"One espresso please!" Lukey said, as he walked to the cafe counter. "And Pangi, what would you like?"
"Same as yours." Pangi replied, smiling warmly as he looked back at Lukey.
"Two espressos actually, thanks!" Lukey said to the worker and they both walked to a coffee table and sat there.
They sat across eachother, "So, how have you been liking Brighton?" Lukey asked, curiously
"It's been great!" He smiled. "I love it here, and im so glad i moved in with you, man!"
Both of them look at eachother smiling, "Im glad you're here too man."
Suddenly, a waitress walked towards them. "Mr. Lukey and Mr. Pangi, correct?" Both of them nod, "Alright great, here are your espressos" The waitress says as she puts the cups on the table.
She walked away and went back to the kitchen.
"So... how's your love life been, Lukey?" Pangi asks, looking at him curiously.
"Uhm, it's..." He looks at the ground, "Been alright, trying to find the one, you know?"
Pangi nods, agreeing with him.
"What about you?"
Pangi hesitates for a moment, he asked this question knowing he'd be asked it back, but he wasn't prepared to answer this, and he doesn't know why... "Well.. Remember when i told you i got in a car crash?" Lukey nods. "Well, I've had this empty feeling in my.. chest or whatever ever since it..." He pauses for a moment, then continued, "Like im missing somebody.. And i.. i feel like that somebody, was an important person to me.."
They both stay silent, Lukey doesn't know how to answer, and Pangi doesn't know what else to say.
Lukey sighs. He takes his hand and puts it on Pangi's "I'm sure you'll find that person some day." He says as he gently smiles.
They both just smile at each other.
The other looks down, faintly blushing,
"Thank you." He quietly says.
They both sat there quietly, enjoying their cup of espressos and not saying anything more, just enjoying the moment, both of them in a quiet cafe, looking at the sunrise.
But, Lukey wanted to change that, so he broke their silence, "Pangi..." he says as he looks at him. Pangi turns his head and looks at the other. "You remember when i said i have an ex?" He nods.
"Remember when you asked why we broke up?" Pangi nods again. "And..." He pauses, "I said... I'll tell you when you're ready."
"Mhm." He says.
"Well, i think you're ready." Pangi was curious what he was going to say.
Lukey takes a deep breath, and lets it out. "The truth is.. we never broke up."
Pangi raises an eyebrow at this, confused, "What? Then how are they your ex?"
Lukey sighs, "Well. My partner.. He.. got in a car crash a year ago."
Pangi gets more curious at this.. Lukey continues, "And.. he forgot me. Only me. He remembered everyone else."
"Ohh.. that's sad." Pangi says, softly. "Where is he now?"
Lukey pauses and hesitates at that question. He stares at pangi and they both look at each other in the eyes.
"He's right infront of me."
