Hello! Welcome to my soulmate AU. I want to write about rarepairs, and explore their dynamics as soulmates. This fic (if you hadn’t already guessed) is Kuroo x Daishou x Daichi. I’m aware that Daishou and Daichi have hardly interacted in the series, but I know Kuroo x Daishou and Kuroo x Daichi are on the ‘popular’ side of rarepairs in Haikyuu, so I wanted to see what all three of them together would be like as a three.
This introduction is just to provide a rough guide as to where this fic is going, and also to provide some background information about each character and for the AU I’m writing this fic in. I also apologise if any of them are a bit OOC, I’ve only just started re-watching Haikyuu and haven’t properly been in the fandom for a few years. This is the first fic that I’m committing myself to for a while, so please excuse any mistakes. This is also the longest fic I’ve ever written so far (I think), and I haven’t completed half of the ones I have started, so me managing to stay focused is going to be difficult.
As of writing this introduction, I’m almost finished with Daishou’s first chapter, and I’ve started Kuroo’s and Daichi’s first chapters. The POV will change quite a bit in this fic, I’m planning on each chapter to focus on a different person’s POV, however, I’m planning on sticking to Daichi’s POV after I’ve finished his chapter.
I don’t really have an ending for this fic yet either, so it might when each of them only have one chapter, it might go on for longer than that. I can’t make any promises, though, sorry! The chapters are also going to come out at weird times. I’m a uni student and I have a part-time job at home, so I don’t always have time or energy to focus on writing the fic. I also don’t have a set publishing schedule, but I will try and update consistently when I can.
If this fic does well, I might also write about the background pairings that appear in this fic. But enough of me waffling, here is the information that you all want:

AU overview:
Everyone gets a soulmate tattoo on their 17th birthday. No one knows how this happens or when this phenomenon started, but enough research has been put into soulmarks to understand their base significance. Your ‘soulmate’ appears as a moving animal on your forearm that gives each individual an insight on who their soulmate is, mainly what they look like and how they behave.
