"At the game, they'll call the play. I'll run as fast as I can. Make a touchdown and my team, will be so proud. And finally, I'll take contro-," "Bly! the bench!" the coach yells after Xander get hit with a football. Xander starts walking to the bench "Good catch Bly!" One of his teammates sarcastically yells "Good job!" Another teammate says taunting him. Xander keeps walking, wondering if he'll ever be goo- "Ah!" He says and his teammate shoulder checks him "Move Bly!" He yells at Xander "It's Xander," "What?" The guy says trying to intimidate him. Xander stands in front of everyone and yells out "Its Xander!" The same guy runs at him and tackles him to the ground. Xander head hits the ground harder than any hit he's taken. From a normal human that is. It feels like his brain is bobbling in his head. He knocks out and everything going black. A leaf falls landing on his forehead. He opens his eyes. He's not at football practice anymore. He gets up and looks around. Its dark. Not like night, there are no stars. It's just dark, eerily dark. The trees are all dead, branches breaking off every second. He goes to touch it out of curiosity. He looks in horror as hundreds of cockroaches burst out, scaring him back on the floor. 'Hiss, Hiss, Hiss' he hears getting closer to him. He tries to get up but, he can't. He feels dry scales caressing his legs. He looks down to see snakes wrapping around his legs, his torso, just all over his body. He tries to pull them off, but they pull him back to the ground wrapping around his arms, and his neck, strangling him. He loses his breath, heaving aggressively. His eyes water, going cross-eyed. He drools unable to close his mouth. A deep and booming yet Calm voice says "Xander," The snakes raise him in the air, closer to the voice now saying his name over and over "Xander, do you think-," Xander gets closer "You will ever be good enough?" Xander shakes from fear as the snakes open their mouths to reveal long fangs "I don't think so. This is why, I want you, to be with me," The snakes viciously bite down on his body, in his veins, his neck. "AAAHH!!" Xander cries out. He closes his eyes wishing this could be over. He opens them, and he's back on the football field, everyone surrounding him "Bly you, okay?" one of his teammates says. Xander doesn't answer. He just quickly gets up, grabs his stuff and practically runs out, still in shock.
On the drive home, Xander still stuck in a daze. Almost looking disassociated. Maybe he was. It wasn't a distant idea for him. "What happened?" He thought "Was I just dreaming or... was someone in my head?" Xander thought. His heart dropping. He couldn't stand the thought. There were too many things he kept in the deep depths of his mind. Xander was so deep in thought, he didn't see the car next to him getting suspiciously close.
'Bump'
The car hit the side of his. The impact shuddering through the car.
'Honk! Honk!'
Xander honks his horn. Sticking his head out to... not curse. Maybe just tell them, "Watch where you're goi-" Xander tries to say but the car bumps into him again. He puts his head back in the car and tries to drive faster. Pushing the peddle harder than he had in a while. Ignoring all the stop signs and red lights. He looks to his side. They're still there. Following him. Next to him. He looks back in front of him "Ah!" He feels a sharp pain in his neck. He puts his hand on his neck. He feels... wetness, liquid. He at his hand. It's blood. He touches it back and blood keeps coming out. He feels the wetness, and the blood dripping, and falling down his back. His vision blurs. He blinks to clear the glaze on his eyes, but it does not work. His hands shake. His eyes twitch. His ears pop. His body goes numb. He feels nothing... physically. He tries to focus and sees... lights. Blinding lights... Headlights. Xander's eyes go wide. One tear wells and falls down his cheek.
'Boom!!!'
The Truck in front of him collides with the front of his car. He got hit but it all feels like it's in slow motion. Glass cuts his face. Airbags pop out. All of a sudden, he feels his body lift, clashing against the seatbelt. He feels the blood pressure in his body rise up to his head. He briefly opens his eyes. He looks to the car next to him. He sees the inside and... nothing. Nothing is in that driver's seat. He to the car in front in him. Nothing. The car starts coming back down. The gravity pulling him, but his mind still light. The car gets closer and closer to the ground until...
