SPORE Infection.
Strains and Info.
The SPORE infection originaly came from the Corticeps and Gibellula attenboroughii, aka insect and arachnid zombie virus’. It has two strains for humans. The first one, scientifically named ‘Gibellula Mimicaritem’ (gih-byuh-luh, mimic-carrot-tum), or black-shroom, with six stages. The second one, scientifically named ‘Fungitelipathiam’ (fungee-tell-eh-path-ee-uhm), or mind-shroom , has only three stages but is much more dangerous.
Black-shrooms stages evolve two weeks at a time. Meaning there are approximately three stages. three months until the infection is at stage six. There is currently no known cure or remedy for this strain, meaning you must avoid it at all costs.
Mind-shrooms only evolve at four weeks at a time, meaning there are yet again three months until stage three. Mind-Shrooms do have a cure; you must give yourself hypothermia in an icebath. Though to fully cure somebody you need to catch it within the first few weeks. Any other stage besides stage one is incurable, and the cure itself is deadly. Survival rate: 20%.
Stages and Symptoms One.
Black-Shroom has six stages, each with their own symptoms. Stage one includes symptoms such as: chills, brain fog, violent thoughts, slight cough, and sunken eyes. Stage one has not yet been confirmed as ‘dangerous’, but for severely mentally ill people you will find violent behavioral issues if not already present.
Stage two’s symptoms are different, they include: moderate cough, slight vision loss, pneumonia, chills, increase in violence, blackened nails and mucus, and muscle spasms. This stage can be threatening. Stage three is worse.
Stage three’s symptoms are: blackened digits (fingers and toes), total vision loss, black blood, dry skin, frequent nose bleeds, extremely violent behaviors, blackened saliva, whole body dandruff, itchy blackened hives, the unquenchable craving for human flesh, unnaturally high hearing level, and uncontrollable growth. This stage is highly dangerous and infectious, as wound-to-saliva and wound-to-skin contact is what spreads this strain.
Stage four... stage four is horrifying. The symptoms are: smell of rotting, vocal mimicking, unnatural drooling, black/grey skin, major hair loss, unnatural speed and stamina, internal bleeding, loss of major brain function, total blindness, elongated limbs, growth of new limbs, growth of claws, echolocation development, slight decrease in hearing, and major cannibalistic behaviors... if you can even call it human anymore. This stage is the most common, and sadly not the worst of it.
Stage five is highly dangerous, and yet they are fragile. The symptoms are: rotting from the inside out, unmaskable stench, spore-filled blood, constant bleeding, loss of all skin, developed echolocation, total hearing loss, lack of breathing, organ rot, malnutrition, and death. Only few make it to stage six, as stage 5’s horrific malformations are extremely fatal.
The symptoms for stage six are yet unknown, because it's almost identical to stage 5. All except for the severe need to climb the tallest thing around, latch on, and spray its spore-filled blood everywhere. This stage is rare though, only one creature ever made it this far. That creature was the thing that created the outbreak.
Stages and Symptoms two.
Mind-shroom has only three stages, though the symptoms are a much wider variety. These also get worse over time, but all the symptoms appear at different times, and not all at once. All of the symptoms include: cough, pneumonia, blackened mucus, extreme mitosis (causing growth of new bones and limbs), anorexia, cannibalism, violent behaviors, exploding spore air pockets, loss of muscle mass, total brain loss (due to the fungi), extreme sight boost (90/20 vision), deafness, spontaneous combustion, total mental motor function loss, and death.
The combustion allows the black blood to spew everywhere, and the loss of brain mass allows for the fungi to take over the brain and motor functions. If an infected is seen, it's already too late. Just pray you die and don't become a vessel.
How It Was Created.
When the Gibellula attenboroughii was discovered in 2022, it was known as a harmless fungus to humans. After discovery, it was brought to a collage research center for experimentation and research. There, it was compared to - and accidentally combined with - the Corticeps fungus; a similar virus that affects insects. It then crossbred into a species dubbed ‘Gibellulatellipathicrypt’ (geb-you-luh-tell-ih-path-ick-riped).
The Gibellulatellipathicrypt was originally a natural cross-breed with a cordyceps and a Gibellula attenboroughii that infected a spider in the land down under, known as Australia.
The spider was a large tarantula, specifically a ‘Newcastle bigboy', or a ‘Sydney funnel-web spider’. The bigboy’s infected state caused mind control to happen due to the fungi being latched onto its brainstem and inner head. The Bigboy got all the way to the city when it climbed onto a large building and spewed a black mist onto on goers in a 20X20 radius below. That is when the infection started.
People that the mist fell onto got infected and symptoms began within a week. Though, one person had covid which altered the fungi to be the second strain. The fungi jeans that were incompatible became the first.
Food effected.
Food can now be affected by SPORE. Eating this food will now infect you with either strain of the fungal plague.
How to detect if your food is affected by SPORE
Food affected by SPORE will have black veiny internals. NEVER EAT FOOD THAT SMELLS LIKE BLACKWOOD. This will infect you faster than a bite due to your body absorbing the fungus and putting it through your bloodstream.
If you think you might be infected, have your friends burn your body so you dont spread the virus.
How To Avoid The SPORE.
To avoid SPORE, quarantine yourself from everyone. If you hear a voice at your door that sounds like a family member, don't look outside, and don't let them in. don’t let them in. don’t let them in. don't let them in. don’t let them in. don't let them in. don’t let them in. don't let them in. DON’T LET THEM IN. DONT LET THEM IN. D O N ‘ T L E T T H E M I N .
