Tee
"What do you mean it's been half a year?!" Phuwin shouted.
We were at our usual spot, the VIP section of the bar we always go to when we want to drink.
The music is low but the tension keeps getting louder than anything else.
"Yeah" I replied
"What do you mean yeah? Are you seriously cutting ties with Dew now?" Nani added
I drained the glass in my hand in one go and the bitter taste of it lingers longer than usual.
"I don't know. I just.... don't know" I replied.
Honestly this conversation is the one topic I've been avoiding for months now. I know Dew, who is - or was my bestfriend has also been trying his best to ignore this topic.
Well, we're not talking anymore but we still see each other almost everyday.
We are in same friend group so it's impossible to not see each other very often.
"Tell me Tee, what really happened? I know you have issues we are not that blind but I didn't know it's been this long." Phuwin ask.
"Yeah. I know you are fighting for a while now but I didn't know you were fighting for six months now" Nani said.
I pour myself another glass and drink it down empty again.
"Well at first it is not that bad but we never really talk about it so it got worse and worse to the point of..." I stopped.
"Point of?.."
"Tee you cannot just cut your sentence like that!" Nani frustratingly said
I deeply sigh. Well fuck it!
"Point of....really hating each other"
Then silence.
I kinda expect this reaction from them. Dew and I have been bestfriend since I can remember. Our parents are university friends so we technically knew each other since birth.
And this is the first time we actually fight. Yes, we have misunderstanding in the past but not this bad.
"What did he do to make you hate him?" Nani ask gently, with the eyes full of concern.
This is the very reason I don't want to talk about it.
"I don't hate him. I just don't...like him anymore" I admit.
"WHAT!!"
Shock flickered across Phuwin and Nani's faces, their eyes widening in unison.
"TEE TEERADECH you have to be more specific or else we will misunderstood what you have just said!" Phuwin now looking directly into my eyes, demanding answers.

"What do you mean by it's not your fault? I don't know what happend but I know Tee will not do something stupid unlike you" Pond said as he eats the last meatball in his plate.
"I agree what ever it is man, you should apologize and be done with it. Nani is getting frustrated as we speak" Sky added
"It's been six months since we last talk so I can't just go to him and apologize. That would be weird" I answered.
Pond's dropped his fork and it clattered to the plate while Sky choke back on his water and sprayed it across the table.
"What do you mean six months?" Pond shouted
"So you mean you're fighting since last semester? What did you do man?" Sky said, wiping the water he just spitted.
"I just said it's not my fault! He's the one who....who...changed"
"What do you mean changed?" Pond
"You're getting suspicious" Sky
"Ok! Ok! Let me breath first" I countered. "He said he doesn't want to be my friend anymore and I snapped so I said that I'm just tolerating him and some other stuff.... and... yeah that's it"
After some silence Sky suddenly smacked me in the head "You idiot"
"I can't believe you're this stupid. Phuwin's right you're an asshole" Pond sarcastically said
"Didn't you just hear me? You both are the idiots"
I can still remember the day Tee said those words to me. We just got back from dinner and decided to hang out at his place.
We were watching Games of Thrones when he suddenly dropped the bomb
"Dew, what if I told you I don't want to be your friend anymore?" Tee said still staring at the TV
"What?"
"I said I don't want to be your friend anymore" he paused the TV, looked at me and he repeat it again
"I don't want to be your friend anymore"
"What! You don't....what? Did I do something wrong?"
"It's just.....I don't want to be just your friend. Instead...."
"What do you mean?! Well if you are joking this is not a good joke, Tee!" I snapped. What does he mean he doesn't want to be my friend anymore.
"I'm not joking. I just have enough of it. Being just your friend... is really hurting me, Dew. What? You expect me to just smile and laugh while your parents matching you with my sister? Like I don't have feeling for y---"
"So that's your reason? You know what?! Fuck you! Let me tell you this Tee if it's not for my parents I will never ever be friends with you. I've been tolerating you for so long. So yeah let's do this. Fuck you!"
And we never spoke to each other again after that night.
I can't believe Tee chose to end our friendship just because he doesn't want me to be with his sister? That's fuck up!
I don't even like his sister!
"A total idiot" Pond commented
"I hope you to be single forever" Sky added making Dews' brows furrow.
