Work Text:

“And now do your buttons— why don’t you unbutton it?” Dean suggested, sitting outside of Cas’s date’s house.

Cas easily obliged, unbuttoning his shirt almost fully, revealing the toned muscles and his collarbone that Dean wasn’t staring at.

“Th—that’s far enough, Tony Manero.” Dean felt heat rush to his face as he attempted to tear his gaze away from his exposed chest.

Dean, without really realizing he was speaking, blurted “You do know how to kiss her, right?”

Almost instantly, his mouth goes cold. His eyes widen and he stares at Cas, horrified. Shit.

Cas’s eyes searched Dean’s expression. “Yes. I did kiss Meg, as you saw, Dean.” Cas growls, head titled upwards in pride.

Dean gapes for a second, before he snaps back to reality to pick his jaw up off the floor and plasters on a cheeky smile. “Yeah, yeah, pizza man. But dude that’s like— I mean uh. That’s a very… passionate… type kiss. You can’t bust that out on the first date, man.”

Cas turns toward Dean, face scrunched in confusion as his head slowly tilts. Cas waits for Dean to respond, and he shifts closer.

They stare at each other in complete silence, other than the soothing purr of Baby’s engine. Damn, Cas’s eyes look even bluer close up.

Manually slowing his heartbeat, Dean licks his lips, more out of nervousness than anything, and before he can chicken out, he leans in and lightly presses his lips against the former angel’s.

Cas freezes, a squeak making it’s way past his lips at the sudden contact. His hands froze midair, not knowing where to rest.

Cas settles his hand on Dean’s chest, feeling the heartbeat of the man in front of him.

Dean moves a hand to cup Cas’s face deepening the kiss and tilting his head forward, groaning into his mouth loudly.

Cas’s eyes flutter closed, tickling the skin of Dean’s cheek, resulting in a contented sigh.

Dean’s tongue licks onto Cas’s lips, silently but insistently begging for permission.

Cas forms a fist into Dean’s shirt as he slowly opens his mouth in a contrasting loud reply.

Dean surges between his soft lips, licking the inside of his mouth up and down, tasting everything Cas has to offer, his other hand moving to rest at the nape of his neck.

Castiel subconsciously slides closer, legs intertwining as he shifted on his lap, pulling at the roots of Deans hair, rewarding him with a glorious groan of pleasure.

They pull apart, both gasping for air, foreheads touching. They stay like this for— god knows how long —breaths mixing together.

Eventually, Cas bends down, nibbling at the stubble of Dean’s jaw, slowly twirling and caressing the back of Dean’s head, sending shivers down the hunter’s spine.

“Good luck on your date,” Dean huffs, breathing ragged. “But maybe she should be where you are right now—”

Dean was cut off by Cas sinking his teeth onto his neck, sucking loudly and wetly, saliva dripping down his throat, resulting in a loud yelp coming from the hunter.

“I don’t know—” Cas spoke, muffled between bites. “If I want to see her tonight.”

Dean could barley form words, wriggling around under the former angel, totally helpless. “Cas—” Dean rasped, the only thought in his head at the moment. “Cas…

Pawing at Dean’s neck, he captured the hunter’s mouth once again, muffling the sounds and calls of his name.

Dean’s hands lowered, violently grasping at Cas’s shirt, desperate for something to hold onto.

Cas pulled back abruptly, face bright red and sweat beading on his forehead. His head swiveled around violently as his eyes slowly widened.

“Wh—Cas?” Dean slowly opened his eyes, continuing to gasp for air and wriggle around beneath Castiel.

Cas quickly slapped a hand over Dean’s mouth, eyes staring a hole into his head, widening even more.

“Steve?” A woman’s voice faintly called out.

Shit.” Dean hissed behind the hand over him.

Castiel put a finger to his lips, forcefully encouraging Dean to stop making noises.

“I’m here! Give me a minute!” His voice cracked noticeably.

He removed his hand and planted a quick kiss on Dean’s mouth, before untangling their bodies and rolling off of him. “I’m sorry, Dean.” His voice back into his gravelly tone.

Dean opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out. He sat there silently staring at Castiel, watching him fuss with his hair and straightening out his rumpled up shirt.

“Goodbye Dean.”

Cas climbed out of Baby and shut the door, starting towards the house.

Dean sat sprawled out across the front seat of his car, frozen, before shaking his head, exhaling, and turning the radio on.

Well this was complicated.
