Chapter Text
If you'd asked me as a child, "What do you dream about?" I would undoubtedly have answered, "Happiness for everyone." But, like everyone else, as we age, our desires become increasingly focused on ourselves and our loved ones.
My parents (Ted and Karen Wheeler) divorced when I was eleven. It was the worst year of my life. My mother took my sisters, Nancy and Holly, and I... stayed with my father.
Now I'm seventeen, and I understand that there are things more important than love, "I love yous," kisses, and problems with partners. My current goals:
1. Finish my book
2. Give it a title
3. Start a new one
That's my plan for this year. As always, things won't go according to plan; but I have a feeling everything will be alright.
